We watched Magic from 1978! Anthony Hopkins is in it, best known for narrating that Jim Carrey Grinch movie probably. It's about Ant Hop loving a doll and his manager, same one that Rocky has, gets mad at him.
Grinch guys are a holiday form of The Earth's Jokers. I promise you within 5 years there will be dudes doing Jim Carrey Grinch impressions the way they did Heath Ledger. "I'm da Grinchy, baby!" Everything is now a purposeful inversion of beauty and purpose. The entire Grinch fad push reveals itself for what it is. The Grinch's heart grew 3 sizes. He came to love Christmas, and the Whos, and was invited in by them even after all the mayhem he had caused. But every depiction you see of him is still his spiteful, evil self. The Grinch is Christmas Joker. He's Reddit Atheist Santa Claus. It's a way of saying "F Christmas" while still getting to wear a Santa hat. And PODAWFUL is now weaponizing the Jim Carrey Autism of one brave Goon against all of Grinchdom in our WAR ON CHRISTMAS. PLUS: Nick Fuentes' boyfriend assassin, P Diddy Joker, remembering Jan 6 and Charles Howell, Tom Gulley calls in, and Comedy Shaman is too afraid to stream. https://podawful.com/posts/2505 VIDEO: https://youtube.com/live/UU812iDF1DY Buy A Shirt: http://podawful.shop PODAWFUL is an anti-podcast hosted by Jesse P-S

Happy 2025 everybody! Last year ground to an ignominious end here in comPOSERS territory. A failed attempt at recording an episode about the Jim Carrey Grinch movie robbed us of our holiday spirit, and scheduling conflicts didn't allow for another kick at the Christmas can before the new year was upon us. But thankfully Krueger and friend of the show Andrew Young took a trip out to the Newd (the new Stude) to record a silly special with Aaron and other friend of the show (and wife of Aaron) Katrina Kelly. So enjoy this Jay-less little Christmas special, a mere two weeks too late. New year, same comPOSERS.

This week on Bakers Bantering, Derek outlines his big New Year's resolution, and we provide plenty of commentary surrounding the sports and entertainment world. Derek hijacks the intro and tries to dive straight into wrestling topics, including his personal beef with Adam Cole and some big WWE predictions. Jenna obliges because she discovered there's a big name wrestler starring in one of the shows she's currently watching (0:39-6:22). Derek shares his big New Year's resolution: cutting back on soda. Valerie provides some encouraging CPAP updates, which may have led to Derek and Mark (his imaginary brother) squashing their monthslong beef (6:23-19:14). Speaking of beef, Ellis' ego is bruised when our friend Philly Jared offers up some Fantasy Football guidance. The anticipation builds toward the Kansas City Chiefs Super Wild Card Weekend playoff matchup against the Miami Dolphins, and Derek's newly beloved Philadelphia Eagles road test against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Valerie sends her congratulations to Chris Jones (not Jenna's fiancé) and his million dollar sack (19:15-26:50). Jenna and Chris picked out their wedding food, but the choice of dessert vendor is still up for debate. Sticking with the food conversation, Jenna gives us a Taco Bell drive-thru update thanks to Baker Banter Dad, Eric, providing some insight (26:51-36:49). Our previous episode with Rey Mysterio was quoted on a wrestling website, but they didn't exactly cite their sources correctly. We received a heartfelt piece of fan mail from a new friend named Ben in Cincinnati. Derek, Jenna, and Valerie wish Ellis a happy birthday (36:50-45:50). Derek gives us an unconventional start to the Weekly Wrestling Wrap Up with an uncanny Jim Carrey “Grinch” impersonation. We start off the wrestling conversation with AEW reactions to some big wins, or big losses, depending on who Derek liked in the matchup (46:03-59:04). Moving on to WWE, Sportskeeda has a bold prediction for Naomi. There was apparently a change of plans for the Royal Rumble involving Roman Reigns and Randy Orton. Someone might be turning heel, Triple H “delivered” according to Derek, and much more (59:05-1:16:52).
For our closing episode of season 2, we are revisiting our annual tradition of talking about a much-beloved holiday special from our youth. This year, it's Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, the classic cartoon that was a holiday staple in both our homes. We discuss the partnership between Looney Tunes animation great Chuck Jones and Ted Geisel, AKA Dr. Seuss, translating the fantastical and imaginative world of Seuss into the medium of moving images, the story behind the now-classic song "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch," the brilliant casting of horror icon Boris Karloff, and the recurring Christmas theme of anti-commercialism. Be sure to also check out our guest spot on episode 52 of Why The Flick?, where we discuss the live action Jim Carrey Grinch adaptation; it's a great companion piece to this episode! Happy holidays from our family to yours! We look forward to talking more movies with you in 2024.
Hello and welcome back to another episode of B Bin Horror. On this week's episode we kick off our Holiday specials with the 2022 Horror/Comedy, The Mean One. The Mean One was written by Flip Kobler, Finn Kobler and Steven LaMorte and directed by LaMorte. The film stars David Howard Thornton, Krystle Martin, Chase Mullins, John Bigham, Erik Baker and Amy Schumacher. On this episode we talk about the movie and the Dr. Seuss references scattered throughout the film, we talk about the Jim Carrey Grinch movie and we throw around a few ideas of what other Christmas movies we would like to see turned into cheap horror films. It's our final Best Of Christmas compilation and today we look back at our recaps for How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Jack Frost, Surviving Christmas and Elf. Why are we tweeting Billy Garcia so much in one of these movies? Will we be able to be more inappropriate recapping the Jim Carrey Grinch movie than the movie itself is inappropriate? Why do people think Michael Keaton as a snow man looks so much like George Clooney? What superpowers does a certain part of Ben Affleck's anatomy have? How does Will Ferrell's dong stack up against it? And did anyone else catch that part where the Elf was shot like Bigfoot? If you've sat through all our other Christmas best ofs then you won't want to miss this one, so download it quick before a certain part of Ben Affleck beats you to it. ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★

In this podcast, we are talking about 1945’s “Christmas in Connecticut” and 1954’s “White Christmas,” while drinking Straffe […]
