With ED WOOD serving as Touchstone's final film of 1994 in late September, Disney leaves themselves three months to wrap up the year with five releases across multiple genres in an attempt to make as much of a mark at the box office as possible. The results were mixed, but the films served their purpose: Hollywood Pictures brought forth sci-fi horror (THE PUPPET MASTERS) and action comedy (A LOW DOWN DIRTY SHAME) for adult audiences, while Walt Disney Pictures relied on family fare to educate and entertain (SQUANTO: A WARRIOR'S TALE, THE SANTA CLAUSE, THE JUNGLE BOOK). In this unique "Touchstone-less" episode, Mike and Chad eschew their normal deep dive and give an overview of Disney's holiday slate and how they performed in theaters.

On this special one-hour Friday broadcast, Mike D. joins us as a cohost to discuss the occult nature of St. Patrick's Day. Although green is associated with the festival, blue was the original color of the Saint, whose real name was Maewyn Succat - blue was the original color associated with Santa Clause too. This is ironic since St Patrick drove out all the serpents from the Emerald Isle, i.e. a metaphor for the pagans and Druids, who honored nature in its personification as the Green Man. The very green shamrock, or seamroy (Celts), was a very sacred plant in Ireland due to its association with spring renewal. Perhaps a four-leaf clover is most lucky because the four petals symbolize the four elements and seasons, or their eight total notches represent the entire wheel of the year. Even the Leprechaun, or lobaircin, meaning ‘small-bodied fellow', is equated to nature in the form of a fairy, sprite, elf, gnome, etc. These earth-dwellers have magical powers and protect with that magic their treasure below.
It is a pleasure to welcome actor Spencer Breslin to The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast. A talent scout discovered Spencer in a New York City playground at the age of three. He starred in over 50 commercials for Life Cereal and McDonald's. When he was four, Spencer Breslin debuted on ABC's short-lived sitcom Soul Man and appeared in the 1999 three-part horror miniseries Stephen King's Storm of the Century. Those experiences lead Spencer to star in several films, including Disney's The Kid (starring Bruce Willis), The Santa Clause 2 and The Santa Clause 3 (starring Tim Allen), The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (starring Julie Andrews and Anne Hathaway), and The Cat in the Hat (starring Mike Myers and Dakota Fanning). He also starred in TV series such as Bones, Center of the Universe (with John Goodman and Jean Smart), and Law & Order. In addition to his film work, Spencer Breslin has a passion for music. He released his debut folk rock album, Labor Day, in 2012 on his record label, Acadian Recording Company. Ladybug Transistor's Gary Olson recorded the album, while James William Hindle produced the record. Actor Jesse Eisenberg made a cameo on the album's ninth track: “The Patient.” In this edition of The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Spencer Breslin spoke about some lessons he learned from his legendary cast members from past projects and his latest film: Murder, Anyone?

Welcome to the one-year anniversary of Black Hoodie Alchemy! This episode, I'm celebrating with a couple of my good friends: Justin Otto (host of Dharma Junkie) and the man, the myth, the legend himself: Tippy Patson - Redneck Mystic Extraordinaire! For those unaware, Tippy P is a mystical long-haul trucker from Defuniak Springs, FL, and he's all about the worship of Henry Ford and American trucker culture throughout time and space. He has sort of a mystical Christian perspective, he considers Mountain Dew and Bud Light to be the philosopher's elixirs, and he's committed to wrestling the gators of the everglades -- which he and his friends believe are illuminati reptilian-aliens that are hanging out in the everglades during their off-time. Since Tippy's last time on the show, we've had all of his league members on to discuss how they found Tippy, what they were doing beforehand, and what their plans are for the future. You can listen to Martin Ferretti chat with cosmic ghost-pirate Apex Monsoon in #32, dolphin and LSD enthusiast Silverback Commando in #33, former Illuminati cloning lab manager Jefferson Tillamookslinger in #34, pro-wrestling scholar and numerologist Muscle Tornado in #35, and moonshiner mystic Bayou Jones in #35. You can also hear Tippy's other chats on this show in episodes #14 and #30! Tippy gives us the updates with his special league and their plans, as well as his new Finnish friend that he's come in contact with: Juha Kourhonen. Former bassist for the death metal band Grim Reaper Diapers in Rovaniemi Finland, his wealth of knowledge is immense regarding the harvest of adrenachrome with links to the ancient Egyptian Deity Sobek, the God of Gators, and the primordial Lovecraftian titan that is known only as Santa Clause. Currently, Tippy and The League of Extordniary Gentlemen have built a GoFundMe page to help them get to Finland, in order to meet up with their friend Juha and defeat the Santa Clause. Join us and have a laugh for this one-year celebration! And a sincere thank you to all the listeners for helping this program make it this far. We couldn't have done it without you. A new movie called Skinamarink features two children who awaken trapped in a changing house with no parents. A mysterious voice soon begins speaking to Kevin and Kaylee, threatening them with demands that they commit acts of self-harm - such as stabbing their own eye. The movie itself is a metaphor for child abuse; missing guardians, a house that should be safe, and both physical and psychological harm. The title of the movie comes from the name of a seemingly random nursery rhyme about ‘love'. That song is called Skidamarink, a name that is essentially nonsense. The theme here is a reminder of Momo, a disturbing image and voice that would appear on social media telling young people to commit self harm, kill a pet, etc., or worse things would happen. It is also the basis of ‘7 Swans a Singin', the tenth episode of the television show ‘Evil'. In that episode a girl named Malindaz makes a deal with the proverbial devil for followers on social media. In exchange He puts a background track into her ‘Malindaz Challenge' video, wherein completion of the video is supposed to make one go insane. The song edited into the background is called ‘pudsy's christmas', a catchy toon about how Santa Clause got high. Deeper auditory analysis reveals, however, that in the background of that song, at only a frequency range audible to those younger than 16, is a distorted voice and message repeatedly telling kids to commit suicide: “across for attention, down for results.” Interestingly, the director of Skinamarink is named Kyle Ball, another synchro-mystical connection to Balenciaga, which not only used children in their torture/bondage/sex/drug/alcohol-infused advertising, but spelled their name BAALenciaga in one picture, likely a references to the demon Baal. Other disturbing images of cannibalism, child sacrifice, and bodily dismemberment were present in the promoted work of a fellow artist of Baalenciaga named Michaël Borremans. Now images are circulating the internet of Betsy Schneider's work, whose nude child in a plastic bin, was a center piece of the celebrity Jamie Lee Curtis. And what about the Podesta's obsession with child-themed art or Jeffrey Epstein? Why are so many powerful people interested in this particular theme and why does it seem to permeate everywhere? Professional artist, oil painter, and illustrator, Robin Punsalan, joins us for part of the conversation. TWITTER: @RPunsalanArt

“Now, how would you like to be a reporter, if you have got nothing better to do?” This is the story of a reporter–a muckraker–answering a boy who wants to know if Santa Clause actually exists. And somehow, it's an answer that manages to mention Theodore Roosevelt. Ashley, Lauren, and Naz are back with a classic Ramble, and they're hitting all the I Don't Get It greats: movies, nostalgia, the Kardashian family, mental health, and all the best snack foods. Ashley tells us why her love for Titanic is keeping her from watching Avatar. What are your favorite holiday movies? Home Alone? The Santa Clause? Of course it wouldn't be a Ramble without some Kardashian discussion. How are you guys liking this season of The Kardashians? The second half of this episode gets a little more serious as Lauren talks about a current health concern she's dealing with that's making it hard to think about anything else. Naz breaks out some more of that Peter Crone wisdom to help deal with the anxiety of the unknown. And hey, they call it a "good cry" for a reason, don't they? Of course it wouldn't be an I Don't Get It without some snack talk. Are you guys as in love with Goldfish crackers as Lauren and Naz? Do you think there's a better snack out there? You can try to convince them, but you're gonna have a hard time. Last but not least, wait til you all hear where Naz is going for the holidays! She's truly out Naz-ed herself with this one. Happy holidays to all of our listeners! We'll see you in the new year! ***There are very minor White Lotus spoilers in this one. Dukes Review: Somehow, an episode that has next to no General Lee in it…..is so endearing and charming it must be due to Christmas magic! In this episode they choose to re-enact the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. (FYI - everyone in Hollywood now does this. Bill Murray did it in Scrooged. Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds just did it too in Spirited. It's on Apple + and is pretty good!). Not good enough? This is the tale of Scrooge Hogg stealing Christmas trees from Hazzard citizens and the Dukes stealing them back to deliver them in Santa suits. Not good enough? In a nod to childlike happiness, the bad guys in the episode also wear Santa suits….meaning there are 6 Santas at one time. When the bad guys in Santa suits get caught, Cletus calls them "Merry Men!" The Boars Nest is decorated, proving that Christmas decorations at dive bars make them extra cheery. Better yet, there are carols, hot chocolate, and this episode ends on a message of what Christmas is all about - unconditional forgiveness…..topped off by some jingle bells flying overhead by (possibly) a certain jolly old Elf. Rating: 10 Little Debbie Christmas Cakes! The post K&F Show #247: Our Toys For Tots 2022 Campaign! Dukes Review: “The Great Santa Clause Chase” first appeared on The Muscle Car Place.

Today on another episode of real ghost stories online, that may convince you that Santa Clause is possibly the devil himself, dressed up as a bearded old man, but in reality, breaks into your home every December 25th, does sexually inappropriate things to your goldfish, and then, leaves your children presents as a “thank you” for letting him torment the ocean life of your home. And oh yea, your dog doesn't like him either, but we wont talk about what Santa did to him on easter.. it wasn't the creepy bunny after all!
