The women of the Lumbee tribe of North Carolina make a strong, beautiful, powerful portion of the population. Yet somehow they keep turning up missing or even murdered. In the spring of 2017, the bodies of three young mothers were found disposed of like garbage. Though no one is sure how many of these cases are connected, a community lives in absolute fear that a serial killer may be preying on their women. Lauren Holmes was a 23-year old mother of three. She had her whole life a head of her, but a series of events one Easter weekend in 2013 would change her family's life forever. This is the story of the murder of Lauren Holmes.
