It was the closest finish in Indianapolis 500 history as Felix Rosenqvist overtook David Malukas in a last straightaway dash this past Sunday. But before that, our resident open wheeler Conor Daly was in the mix, leading laps and trading the top position with the likes of Alex Palou, Scott McLaughlin and Malukas. Conor fills Speed Street listeners in on how his race played out, and how ultimately pit strategies left him mired in traffic for the final restarts. Race winner Felix Rosenqvist joins the show to chat about his media week so far, and how the race unfolded from his vantage point. Felix admits that it all still hasn't sunk in yet, but hopes to be able to continue his momentum and take the fight to points leader Alex Palou down the stretch of the 2026 season. In this episode of Retail War Games, I am joined by Jim Umlauf, the founder of 4Knines. Jim is a fascinating operator who spent 20 years at the pharmaceutical giant Merck before pulling the ripcord to turn a weekend-warrior side hustle into a highly efficient, multi-million-dollar pet brand. We explore how Jim completely re-engineered traditional direct-to-consumer operations by shrinking his internal team down to just three full-time people and leveraging heavy intellectual property, including well over 20 patents. But the most mind-blowing part of this episode is how Jim is completely ahead of the curve on AI-driven shopping. He reveals how 4Knines is already generating nearly 10% of its entire revenue directly through large language models like ChatGPT and Perplexity as consumers shift from search engines to AI purchase agents. We also talk about his high-profile contract deals with auto giants like Ford and Mopar, and how to protect profit margins against volatile tariffs.

If you're a coach, health practitioner, podcaster, or service provider looking to hire a copywriter, you've likely asked yourself one critical question: How can a conversion copywriter capture my authentic voice when they're not me? This is the right question to ask because it means you genuinely care about authenticity. Many heart-centered entrepreneurs worry that hiring a conversion copywriter means outsourcing their voice. You don't want to trade your unique perspective, your actual way of speaking, and your values, for some generic, salesy version of themselves. And you don't have to. When you hire a conversion copywriter, you're investing in someone who becomes fluent in your brand voice. What most people don't realize is that a skilled conversion copywriter doesn't write for you. They write as you. And the best compliment is when even your spouse can't tell if I wrote it or you did!In this episode, we answer the three questions that matter most:How does a conversion copywriter actually get to know your authentic voice? (Spoiler: it's not through 50 pages of questionnaires.)What's the real process for capturing who you are in writing? (And why one hour per month of your time is all I need.)Can a conversion copywriter truly match your tone without losing the conversion power? (Yes. Keep reading to find out how.)This is for those who refuse to settle for watered-down, salesy copy. It's for business owners who know their voice is their unfair advantage, and they're ready to protect it while scaling their message.WHAT YOU'LL DISCOVER IN THIS EPISODEHow conversion copywriters identify and capture your authentic voice…without making you fill out a 50-page questionnaire (Spoiler: I consume your existing content instead of asking you to describe yourself).Find out how the DFY system works on just ONE hour of your time (because part of the ROI is saving you time!) Why outsourcing your copy will does NOT dilute your voice…and what actually determines whether a copywriter nails your brand (it's not what most people think).Discover the 3 ways I capture your authentic voice before writing a single word (including the one most copywriters skip). Why your voice is your unfair advantage in a market flooded with the same tools and templates…and what that means for your authority and conversion power.➡️ SHOW NOTES: Grab all the links and resources mentioned in this episode on the blog here! https://www.megankachigan.com/copywriter-strategies-to-match-your-authentic-voiceLET'S WORK TOGETHER: https://www.megankachigan.com/dfyCONNECT WITH MEGAN:Join My Inbox Community → www.megankachigan.com/email Website → www.megankachigan.comLinkedIn → https://www.linkedin.com/in/megan-kachigan-loehr-9957684b/Threads → https://www.threads.net/@megankachiganInstagram → https://www.instagram.com/megankachigan/Join the Why Isn't This Converting?" "That might be something that you see in a decade, not in two years of filming," Tara Stoinksi, CEO of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, tells me. The behavior she's referring to occurs in mountain gorilla groups, such as a "dominance transfer," where a younger male silverback takes over leadership from an older male, and infanticide, where an outsider or ostracized gorilla kills the offspring of a new mother within the group. The former of these was captured on camera within days of filming for the new Netflix documentary A Gorilla Story: Told by David Attenborough. Stoinski joins the Mongabay Newscast to discuss her role as a scientific adviser on the years-long project, the rarity of the behaviors captured on camera, and her thoughts on gorilla conservation in the Greater Virunga Landscape of Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. And it all began with one figure who changed her life as an artist:

In this episode, I discuss my current approach to culling and editing thousands of RAW photographs, whether from a long day in the field or upon returning to the studio at the end of a trip. I cover the software I use, why I use it, how I choose my selects, what gets kept and what gets deleted. Culling and editing can be an extremely time-consuming part of the photographic process, but it is an absolutely critical stage in distilling the work to a manageable level while keeping only the very best.Support the showWild Nature Photo TravelPhotography Workshops and Expeditions around the Worldwww.wildnaturephototravel.comSupport the Show and fellow Nature Photographer: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/JoshuaHolko/membershipFind us on Social MediaFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/Joshuaholko/Twitter: https://twitter.com/HolkoJoshuaInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/joshuaholko/Need to Contact us? info@jholko.com

Shane Lenton, founder of The Wishlist, and Douglas Low, CEO of Incu, are tackling one of retail's most overlooked problems: what happens after a customer walks into a store, and leaves without buying.Between them, they've seen both sides of the equation. Shane built his career inside omnichannel retail before launching a platform designed to unify online and offline intent. Doug has spent over two decades shaping Incu into one of Australia's most respected retail experiences. And the insight they keep coming back to is simple. Retailers are obsessing over the 20% who buy, and ignoring the 80% who don't. In ecommerce, every click is tracked, retargeted, and optimised. But in-store, most of that intent disappears the second someone walks out the door. That's the “black hole” Shane refers to. Customers spend time, show intent, even try products… then vanish with zero follow-up or visibility. The opportunity isn't marginal. Converting just a small percentage of those missed customers can unlock meaningful revenue growth across the entire business.Today, we're discussing:Why in-store retail is still a “black hole” for customer data and lost revenueHow capturing in-store intent can unlock an extra 10%+ growth without more trafficThe difference between data-driven personalisation and real human relationshipsWhy most retailers struggle to deliver consistent service across locationsTurning staff intuition into scalable, trackable customer dataWhy first-party data is becoming retail's biggest competitive moatHow AI will enhance retail teams, not replace themSubscribe to the Add To Cart newsletterConnect with Nathan Bush on LinkedInJoin the Add To Cart Community

In July 2014, 28‑year‑old German tourist Lars Mittank vanished after a series of strange, paranoid behaviours at a Bulgarian airport, caught on CCTV running into the woods, never to be seen again. He'd left his luggage behind, seemed terrified of people who weren't there, and was acting like someone who desperately believed he was in danger. Years later, his disappearance has become one of the internet's most unsettling mysteries, raising the same chilling question over and over: what was Lars so afraid of, and where did he go?

Episode Title: “Systems That Scale: Using Technology, Tools & AI Without Creating Chaos” Episode Summary (Short Description) In this episode of the Trimetric Roadmap, Scott and Jeff break down how founders should use systems, tools, and AI to create leverage—not complexity. Our resident open wheeler Conor Daly was on the scene, and he reports back to Speed Street with what he witnessed during his time in the Lone Star State. He and Producer Bobby discuss how the event made a great first impression and continued IndyCar's strong start to 2026. They also break down the action that saw Kyle Kirkwood continue his reign of supremacy on the street courses, beating out Alex Palou and taking over the point standings lead. Kyle joins the show to talk about the excellent start Andretti Global has gotten this season and how Will Power joining the team has been an asset to their overall program. He also discusses taking the step to becoming a championship contender and what tracks he needs to improve at in order to be at the top of the podium at the end of the year. STREAM THE MAKING OF THE JOHN BATCHELOR SHOW3-12-261910 BRUSSELS CITY HALL HOTEL DE VILLEThis transcript captures the preparatory and live segments of the *John Batchelor Show*, where the host and his guests navigate the complexities of modern technology and international trade. The discussion begins with an analysis of artificial intelligence, weighing its potential to boost productivity against concerns regarding reliability, job displacement, and the necessity of human oversight. The dialogue then transitions to the Trump administration's tariff policies, which guest Richard Epstein criticizes as economically damaging and legally problematic due to the procedural uncertainty they create for businesses. Woven throughout the exchange are reflections on geopolitical instability, specifically focusing on the escalating conflict in the Middle East and its impact on global supply chains. Ultimately, the source highlights a shared sense of technological and political turbulence that defines the contemporary era. (1)
Steve reacts to Secretary of State Marco Rubio's speech in front of the Munich Security Conference and says his message is a perfect encapsulation of our historical moment (and a great example of Christ's second-greatest commandment). Then, rabbi and commentator Pesach Wolicki joins the program to provide the crew with a preview of the state of play in the Middle East and Israel ahead of their trip later this week. In Hour Two, the team examines two dueling graphics of religious polling data and says it's a sufficient encapsulation of the quagmire the American church finds itself in. Finally, Joe Mitchell, a Turning Point Action-endorsed congressional candidate from Iowa, joins the program to discuss his campaign.
