The Notebook -elokuvaa on kutsuttu yhdeksi maailman romanttisimmista rakkaustarinoista.

Hello Gals & Guys! While Lissette is away, Ashley celebrates a birthday (yay, early 30s!), and got a psychic reading. I mean, are you surprised? Really? She's joined today by political correspondent and resident witch-fan, Lonia, and they talk about their experiences with clairvoyants, reading energy, and bruja recipes that may or may not involve a bit of ... pee. https://babylambspodcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/BBYLMBS61-22619-6.12-PM.mp3 --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/baby-lambs-podcast/support
Hey y'all! The US Government has been shutdown for 35 days but we're not here to talk about that. Instead, we brought Lonia along to discuss the current conflict in Venezuela and the nine, yes, NINE, 2020 Presidential candidates for the democratic party. Needless to say, we're very excited for both. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/baby-lambs-podcast/support
It's mid-November, baah'-d kids! Florida is a weird place. You know that. We know that. And the political climate is getting as hot as it is in this room (and that's pretty clammy). Joining the chat today is Lonia, Sasha, Cristina and Derrick, who are all itching/sweating for a chance to fill this coveted seat at the Baby Lambs table. Will they succeed? Will the recount ever end? Do we need to start volunteering our time to count ballots? I'll let you decide, although Lonia has already self-proclaimed her position as a BL "political correspondent." We also hear briefly from our girl in Japan! It's brief and sweet and she is definitely fully awake. Today is the group call, which means we are closing in on the end of our co-host audition series. Much like the Florida races, a choice will soon be made. Who will make the cut? https://babylambspodcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/BBYLMBS37-111518-10.39-PM.mp3 --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/baby-lambs-podcast/support
Today is a day full of feelings, baah'-d kids. (1) Ashley has taken the reigns of Baby Lambs while Lissette galavants through Japan eating yummy treats and bowing at deer. (2) Its the day after mid-term elections and... well... let's say we have some thoughts. (3) Ashley cannot do this alone, therefore, she is holding auditions for a new cohost! Today, we welcome our dear friend Lonia to the Baby Lambs studio/yeah right we don't have a studio to discuss the last 24 hours in U.S. politics. If you are also a little unsure about the state of our nation (or of the State of Florida), grab a glass of your favorite spirit and join the discush. https://babylambspodcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/BBLMBS35-11718-5.31-PM.mp3 --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/baby-lambs-podcast/support
Listening to NPR one day in the summer of 2005, author Margot Singer heard a report about a mute pianist who had washed up on the northern coast of England. That was also the summer of the London rush hour bombings that paralyzed the city and killed and maimed hundreds. Those news reports marinated over the years and finally led Margot to write her first novel, Underground Fugue (Melville House, 2017). The novel intertwines the lives of four people, each one of whom is grappling in some way with loss, fear, and betrayal. Esther, the main character, is in London to care for her dying mother and to escape from the breakdown of her marriage. Esther’s mother, Lonia, tosses in bed remembering her escape from Nazi Germany, and her beloved brother’s failure to make it out alive. Esther’s neighbor, Javad, is the Persian doctor who is consulted about a mute piano player who washed up on the beach in the north of England. He is also the long-divorced father of nineteen-year-old Amir, who comes and goes at odd hours, and seems to be involved in something secretive. The story weaves the lives and thoughts of these four characters before and after the shocking 7/7 terror attack in London’s underground. Underground Fugue won the 2017 Edward Lewis Wallant Award for American Jewish fiction. Singer’s 2007 story collection, The Pale of Settlement, won the Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction, the Reform Judaism Prize for Jewish Fiction, the Glasgow Prize for Emerging Writers, and an Honorable Mention for the PEN/Hemingway Award. Margot Singer’s work has been featured on NPR and in many publications such as theKenyon Review, the Gettysburg Review, Agni, and Conjunctions. She is a professor of English at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
