Yo! Still in the process of making Ep. 8, but you know what — the sun's been out today, and it's Sunday, so I was in the mood to go digging through the record boxes and go back to my roots a little. Strictly UKG and strictly what we used to play on the pirates...but fear not mess heads, the dirty stuff is on it's way! Tracklist: Mystic Matt & Anthill Mob - Burning Nu Birth - Anytime DnD - Diamond Rings TJR ft. Xavier - Just Gets Better Dem 2 - Destiny James Brown - Funk on ah Roll (Bump n Flex Mix) Bizzi - Bizzis Party (Booker T Vocal) Suburban Lick - You're Mine (Zed Bias Mix) Dionne Rakeem - Sweeter Than Wine Sunship - Try Me Out Hakan Libdo - Walk Away ( Todd Edwards Vocal) Scott Garcia - It's A London Thing Roy Davis Jnr - Gabrielle M Dubs - Over Here Lynden David Hall - Forgive Me Gabrielle - Sunshine (Wookie Dub) It's a bit shameless and not one for the geeks. And it was kinda thrown together. Enjoy! And as always, please get in touch with requests, comments, suggestions or anything else via djmrg@podomatic.com or the facebook fanpage (search DJ MRG)

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Detrel and Pam from One Nation Under the Soul Shack. This wonderful duo has lifted my spirits on many a rainy day with their kind words, selfless promotion, and sincere dedication to great soul music. Mama used to say to me,"Give a person the roses while you can!" I could never repay my friends at ONUTSS for all they've done but I sought to express a sincere thanks in the mix! The first of five , this amalgamation of soul, chillout, and jazz is deeply rooted in the essence of all ONUTSS represents. We piece together local talent, artists from across the pond, and as always, provide a welcome intro to some musicians you may have missed. The idea of sharing great music while putting the spotlight on others continues to give our vision both sense and purpose. ONUTSS: The Mixtape features music from SHU, Davina, Lynden David Hall, Jahah, Cholkate, Aaron T., L'Renee, Paolo, Martine Girault, Grap Luvah, Martha Wash, COA, Carmen Dura, and drops by Poetic Sunshyne, Semokee, Jo'leon D'Avenue, and more. So welcome to a new era in the mix. Welcome to One Nation Under the Soul Shack. Please download the podcast for free, share it, and enjoy. I hope you all reach out to Detrel and Pam and show them a snippet of as much love as they have blessed us with. It is the greatest honor we can bestow upon those who have inspired so many. Peace, love, and some roses... COA
