"The Chase" is a four-part series chronicling Jon Diebler's pursuit of history. Diebler gives us an inside look at his four-year high school career, which is one of the most revered in Ohio roundball history. The beloved star gives us his thoughts on the journey but remains steadfast throughout the series that it was always team and winning first. He has never wavered as we revisit the mid-2000s, he was saying the same things. Inside this episode: We discuss Jon's career at Ohio State. Jon tells us about his oldest brother Jeremiah and the career he had. We dive into his freshman year at Fostoria High school playing alongside his brother Jake and future Michigan State football star Marcus Hyde. We ask Jon if he remembers who his first points were against. We look at some signature games of the 2003-2004 regulars season, which ended in an NOL and Sectional Title. Jon takes us through the tournament run, which culminated with a battle of brothers. My guest today is Lisa Marie Posso. She's the brains behind Lisa Marie Projects, a company that produces events for VIP clients and influencers, handles brand partnerships, and talent management. She's curated events for Adult Swim, Marcus Hyde, Skrillex, Owsla, DJ Snake, and Sarah Bahbah, just to name a few. She got a really big break when she got hired to be an assistant for Skrillex back in 2015, and this really exposed her to the fast paced world of VIP clients, touring, and events. She's one of those people who just seems to be everywhere all the time, doing something dope and exciting, bumping elbows with some of the biggest names in the world (literally Kim & Kanye showed up to one of her events last year). For the sixth episode of my podcast, I flew out to Southern California for the weekend of January 13th and during my stay I got the chance to sit down with LA based fashion photographer Marcus Hyde. I met Marcus a few years ago when he was living in Richmond, VA and was putting on East Coast Honda Meet. Four years ago Marcus decided to take a leap of faith and move out to a city he had never been to before; Los Angeles, California. Since the move his career in photography has sky rocketed. With shooting for artists like Chance the Rapper, Childish Gambino, Snoop Dogg Towkio, and Pusha T and companies like Complex Magazine, Adidas and PLAYBOY, it was only right to talk to Marcus about how he has gotten to where he is today. We talk about him first getting into taking photos and his time in college, traveling the world, his new camera bag in collaboration with Private Label, Yeezys, cars, censorship, his photography workshops, the industry and much more! It has been very inspirational to see Marcus go from doing his own thing with cars to doing huge things with his art out in LA and all over the world. He has really made a big name for himself by changing the game of photography and its relationship with the media and I am excited to see where his career takes him from here.
