Tariq is joined in-studio by Rabbi Michael Ben Yosef, spiritual leader of Tikkun- Chai International. A few hours before this interview, Imam Tariq spoke alongside Rabbi Michael at a Chicago Press Conference, at Federal Plaza, calling for an end to Gun Violence. The two talk about some of the longstanding problems plaguing communities of color in Chicago (and the nation): violence, economic disinvestment, police brutality, and more. Both Ben Carlson and Michael Batnick joke that we probably talk to each other more than we talk to our own wives. Michael lives and works in New York while Ben lives and works in Michigan so the two are probably on the phone with each other a minimum of 5-6 times a day. We also hold simultaneous conversations with one another through direct messages Twitter, quick hits on Slack, text messages, email, and occasionally Skype. The majority of the time we talk about different research we're looking at, what we've been reading, crazy things going on in the markets, irrational things being said or done by investors, ideas for writing material, dad talk, what's going on with our own investments or personal finances, TV shows/movies/comedy specials we like or dislike and much more. So, like everyone else on the planet, we've decided to start our own podcast called Animal Spirits with Michael & Ben. Find complete shownotes on our blogs... Satine and Obi-Wan forever, superfans! In this special filler edition, Michael Ben and Austen discuss their thoughts on the children's TV show Star Wars: The Clone Wars with no real format. Things get kind of weird by the end of it. Many spoilers to be shared. Enjoy!

This is the first of many Rogue One segments we'll be doing. I edited this one, so that's why it sounds worse than when Maddie or Michael Ben do it.
