Art du Déplacement's culture is deepened through «partage», reflective practice formats, and distinctive training like vision work and night missions. "Still, I had the fear, but I knew where I was, where I was going, [and] how— I knew myself better, basically. So this very strong experience with my friends, and this strong experience of failure— That was really an in between moment for me. […]There is before that training session at the «Dame du Lac» experiencing all this. And then there is me discovering more about my inner self and being very different in the way I approach fear." ~ Stany Foucher (1:33:00) The discussion frames Art du Déplacement as a living culture rather than simply a set of techniques. Stany's recently published, French-language book is highlighted as a deliberate choice, made with the awareness that language shapes who can engage with the ideas. (Craig and Stany hope that an English translation can eventually be created which captures the subtlety and depth of the material.) The strengths of books—slower pacing and deeper digestion—are compared to the reach and immediacy of video. This leads to exploring audio as a practice medium, with the idea of podcast-led movement sessions modeled on audio yoga classes. Social aspects like shared meals, walks, and storytelling are recognized as essential for transmitting culture, complementing formal training. "But something that I really get, also from those years of training, and maybe you don't see it is, all the questioning behind it. I cannot think of a training that would not end with a question— [an] open question from—especially from Jann [Hnautra]—just reflecting on what you did. Why were you in that state of mind when we're doing this movement? Why did you want to stop when you were doing the QM? Lots of questions and reflecting on what you did. I think this is an important piece of the training." ~ Stany Foucher (28:00) Personal philosophy surfaces through parenting analogies—providing environments where children retain innate movement abilities—and a formative story of a major failure that marked a clear “before and after” in approaching fear. The conversation closes with reflections on building community connection despite geographic distance, testing new formats for sharing practice, and maintaining a loop where ideas, movement, and reflection continually reinforce each other. La CIPU y la Cámara de Armadores Pesqueros inauguraron el viernes el sitio web “Uruguay Pesca”, desde el cual publicaron un llamado a trabajadores con o sin experiencia para retomar la actividad, paralizada por un conflicto sindical que lleva más de 70 días. En su primer día, la iniciativa recibió 1.253 inscripciones, casi el doble de los marineros hoy activos. Las cámaras rechazan la sindicalización obligatoria y consideran “no válida” a la actual dirigencia del Suntma como interlocutor. El Suntma se reunirá en asamblea esta mañana para analizar las últimas novedades y el encuentro que mantuvo el viernes con el PIT-CNT y autoridades del Ministerio de Trabajo para buscar una salida al conflicto pesquero. Las cámaras empresariales no asistieron, al mantener su postura de no participar en instancias tripartitas mientras las embarcaciones sigan amarradas.

The gatherings represent two concurrent pre-Shabbat get-togethers, where Jewish cottagers motor out, tie up in a circle and welcome in the Sabbath. Attendees have raved about the trend, praising it for bringing badly needed Jewish resilience and inspiration that lasts long after the boat owners set their feet on dry land. In fact, the idea has been such a success that it's multiplied. There are, in fact, two different spiritual celebrations each Friday, organized and operated by separate people. Both groups of boats listen to Jewish music alongside candles, challah, a rabbi and seafaring shmoozing, but don't mix them up—each organizer is quick to point out key differences in flavour and religious observance. Un journaliste incarcéré au Bénin avec l'aide de la Côte d'Ivoire, des éditorialistes ciblés au Sénégal… Ces trois pays ont une longue tradition de respect de la liberté d'expression, mais la situation des journalistes se dégrade depuis des semaines au Sénégal et en Côte d'Ivoire. Au Bénin, cela fait maintenant plusieurs années que journalistes et médias sont régulièrement pris pour cible. Quelle est précisément la situation dans ces pays ? Comment en est-on arrivé là ? Sadibou Marong, le directeur du bureau Afrique de Reporters sans frontières répond à Pierre Firtion. RFI : L'histoire a défrayé la chronique. Hugues Comlan Sossoukpè est incarcéré depuis huit jours à Ouidah au Bénin. Ce journaliste critique du régime béninois vivait depuis 2019 au Togo avec le statut de réfugié politique. Mais le 13 juillet, il a été extradé par la Côte d'Ivoire alors qu'il participait à un forum à Abidjan. Les autorités ivoiriennes l'ont-elles piégé selon vous ? Sadibou Marong : Nous pouvons valablement parler de piège comme nous pouvons aussi parler d'une mission professionnelle de journaliste qui s'est finalement transformée en traquenard. Le journaliste béninois, Hugues Comlan Sossoukpè, qui est journaliste réfugié au Togo depuis quelques années et qui est aussi le directeur du média béninois d'investigation Olofofo, a officiellement été invité par le ministère ivoirien de la Transition numérique pour couvrir un événement sur l'innovation digitale. Il a été considéré comme un journaliste, et là, je cite les propos du ministère, « un journaliste reconnu de la sous-région dans ce domaine ». Comment expliquer un tel acte de la part des autorités ivoiriennes ? C'est compliqué, car c'est inédit. On pourrait même considérer qu'un tel acte pourrait étonner pratiquement tous les défenseurs de la liberté de la presse d'une manière générale. Surtout par exemple quand on sait que la Côte d'Ivoire, ces dernières années, était assez bien classée au classement mondial de la liberté de la presse avec des bonds assez intéressants. Il n'y a qu'en 2025 que le pays a assez reculé. Mais il est aussi clair que cette liberté de la presse en Côte d'Ivoire était encore étroitement liée au contexte politique. Il y a aussi l'influence de certains partis, des responsables politiques dans les médias qui devenaient très grands. Dans tous les cas, c'était quand même un environnement assez intéressant. Disons que les médias évoluaient en Côte d'Ivoire jusqu'à ce que l'on se rende compte effectivement qu'il y a eu un peu ce traquenard-là. Et on ne peut pas dire que les autorités n'ont pas été complices. On peut fondamentalement dire que les autorités ivoiriennes étaient au courant, avaient certainement dû être consultées et avaient donc donné leur accord et leur aval pour pouvoir livrer ce journaliste-là. Cela est extraordinairement grave d'autant plus que c'est un journaliste réfugié. On comprend aussi que c'est le début, peut-être, d'un durcissement de la situation. La Côte d'Ivoire va vers une élection présidentielle en octobre prochain et on a vu récemment des menaces contre des correspondants de la presse internationale de la part de certains partisans politiques. Le régime du président Patrice Talon à son arrivée était jugé relativement stable. Mais ces dernières années quand même, c'est un régime qui est nettement imprévisible par rapport à la liberté de la presse. Actuellement, dans le contexte actuel, on voit que les voix indépendantes et les journalistes critiques, même modérés, sont perçus avec une attention assez croissante. Le cas de Hugues Sossoukpè est là. Je pense que les autorités béninoises l'attendaient. Ils faisaient tout pour essayer de l'avoir. Mais auparavant, on a vu aussi une vague de suspension de médias et d'instrumentalisation des régulateurs. Le régulateur des médias, la HAAC, a pris des décisions qui sont pour nous très disproportionnées avec une vague de suspension des médias. Il y a eu des vagues de répression. Et comme on va vers une élection également dans ce pays-là, on voit les dispositions de surveillance qui s'intensifient. Le climat se charge lentement mais sûrement au Bénin. Le Bénin, la Côte d'Ivoire, on parle là de pays où la liberté d'expression a longtemps été respectée. C'est le cas aussi au Sénégal. La situation des journalistes s'était améliorée, on va dire entre 2024 et 2025, mais là, depuis quelques semaines, on dénombre à nouveau des attaques contre la presse. Au Sénégal, bien que le pays ait fait un bond de 20 places lors du dernier classement mondial de la liberté de la presse, nous avons commencé à observer beaucoup de faits nouveaux ces derniers mois. Il y a la question des détentions de commentateurs et de chroniqueurs dans les médias. Par exemple, il y a le journaliste Bachir Fofana et les commentateurs Badara Gadiaga, Abdou Nguer qui utilisent les médias pour jouir de leur liberté d'expression au Sénégal. Et tout cela, ce sont des choses qui reviennent. Et l'impression qu'on a, c'est plus qu'une sorte de contrôle du narratif, disons, des voix discordantes. Et ces voix discordantes, de notre point de vue, doivent pouvoir être acceptées dans un État démocratique. Maintenant, ce qui est le plus important pour nous, c'est l'appel que nous avons lancé aux autorités qui ont commencé à s'atteler à faire des concertations. Mais aussi à réconcilier les résultats des assises nationales dans la presse, des concertations, disons, du secteur de la communication. Il faut réconcilier tout cela. John Collins heads to LAC while Miami gets Norm Powell + where are Dame and Beal landing?

El pasado jueves el Congreso de Estados Unidos aprobó la denominada One Big Beautiful Bill, una ley de conciliación presupuestaria que aspira a ser el gran logro legislativo del segundo mandato de Donald Trump. No ha sido fácil sacarla adelante. Tras unas negociaciones muy accidentadas, el Senado la aprobó el martes gracias al voto de desempate del vicepresidente JD Vance. La Cámara de Representantes, que ya había aprobado una primera versión en mayo, ratificó la del Senado por 218 a favor frente a 214 en contra. Todos los demócratas votaron en contra, pero están en minoría. La premura por aprobarla la semana pasada se debía a que Trump quería celebrar el día nacional con esta ley. Los republicanos están encantados con la nueva ley, más conocida ya por el acrónimo BBB o simplemente triple B, pero carece de una base ideológica clara. En 2017 Trump delegó su agenda legislativa en Paul Ryan y Mitch McConnell, quienes impulsaron una ley de recorte de impuestos muy ambiciosa y cuyo objetivo era aligerar la carga fiscal para empresas y particulares. Hoy Ryan está retirado de la política y McConnell, aunque todavía senador, tiene ya poca influencia. La triple B extiende los recortes fiscales de la ley de 2017, pero financiándolos con recortes en el programa Medicaid y en el de cupones de alimentos, lo que afectará a unos 12 millones de personas, que perderán su seguro médico, y a más de un millón que se quedarán sin subsidio alimentario. Además, introduce nuevas trabas burocráticas, como revisiones semestrales de elegibilidad para Medicaid. Incluye algunas promesas de campaña de Trump como eximir de impuestos a las propinas, horas extras y los préstamos para la compra de automóviles. También permitirá la creación de las llamadas cuentas Trump para los recién nacidos. Medidas todas que expirarán antes de que termine la década porque Trump no puede pasar de 2029 como presidente. También elimina los subsidios verdes de la Ley de Reducción de la Inflación de Biden y promueve la extracción de combustibles fósiles en terrenos federales, aunque se desconoce cuántos inversores acudirán ya que el precio del barril de petróleo no es muy elevado. La Triple B no transforma la economía como lo hicieron el New Deal de Roosevelt o la desregulación de Reagan. Su enfoque apuesta por la rebaja fiscal pero no la financia disminuyendo el gasto. Se estima que la deuda se incremente, pero en la Casa Blanca no lo ven así. Los asesores del presidente esperan un crecimiento sostenido de la economía gracias a esta ley y una reducción consistente del déficit, una proyección un tanto optimista que depende de una desregulación masiva y un recorte de gasto muy acusado. No harán ninguna de las dos cosas. El aumento en el gasto en defensa y en control migratorio se comerán y superarán los ahorros de otras partidas. Críticos como Steve Bannon han señalado que los recortes a Medicaid afectan a la base electoral de Trump. Incluso Elon Musk, que se posicionó en contra de esta ley hace ya dos meses, ha propuesto crear el Partido de América para desafiar a los republicanos. Aunque Trump habla de ella como una legislación de carácter histórico, lo cierto es que la Triple B, más que una reforma estructural, es una continuación de la política económica del partido Republicano. (TSXV: SASK) has delivered significant exploration results from its Angilak Uranium Project in Nunavut, Canada, marking a pivotal breakthrough for the uranium exploration company. The results from the first two drill holes of their 2025 exploration program demonstrate both new discovery potential and continued expansion of their established resource base.The company's maiden drill hole at the KU Discovery Target successfully intersected uranium mineralization within the previously undrilled Angikuni Basin, validating years of systematic geological work. The hole intersected 7.1 meters of composite mineralization, including 0.7 meters of high-grade uranium with radioactivity readings reaching 18,490 counts per second. CEO Troy Boisjoli emphasized the significance: "First hole along a 31 km long trend across a basin with no drilling in it and we hit mineralization in the first hole."Concurrent with the new discovery, ATHA successfully extended mineralization at their flagship Lac 50 deposit, which hosts a historic resource of 43 million pounds of uranium at 0.69% grade. The drilling extended mineralization approximately 100 meters down-dip, demonstrating the deposit remains open and unconstrained.The geological features encountered bear striking similarities to the world-class Athabasca Basin, home to some of the highest-grade uranium deposits globally. The drill hole intersected a 23-meter-wide graphitic fault zone with approximately 90 meters of structural offset, conditions historically associated with significant uranium deposits.ATHA's management team brings proven uranium development experience from Cameco and NexGen operations, providing execution capability for advancing projects through development stages.
