Jesus Was Not God and In the Old Testament Prior To His Birth and Exaltation To The Godhead After His Death On The Cross! Deut 18:15-19! My 8 Books: Amazon.com/Richard-A-Hardin/e/B09J2YHCVBEmail: rhardin77@yahoo.com rahardin.com -Bio, 18 Videos, Podcasts***** I will discuss mercy, then the relationship of mercy and truth in the Old Testament (OT) which shows that Jesus did not live or serve in the OT, except for the days He walked on Earth. Jesus became exalted to the fullness of Godhead, Trinity, after His death and then He became the third part of the Trinity after His resurrection. I will show from Scripture there was no grace in the OT: Grace and Truth came by Jesus. God and His Spoken Word, Christ, was the full expression of the Godhead in the OT, look at Psalms 25:10, "ALL the paths of the Lord are Mercy and Truth unto such as keep His Covenant and His Testimonies." and Isaiah 59:21, "As for Me, this is My Covenant with them, saith the Lord; My Spirit (Mercy) that is upon thee, and My Words(Truth) which I have put in thy mouth,..". When Jesus was exalted to the fullness of the Godhead, the Trinity of God came into existence: God the Father, Jesus the Son and Their Living Words, Christ! This is very different than what is being presently taught as the "Christian World View." Jesus, the man, died on the cross for our sin sacrifice because the Spirit of Christ left Him when He cried out, "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken me? Jesus the man then died and paid the sin sacrifice for us! That is why God was so pleased with the man Jesus and exalted Him through just being our mediator, to being fully God in the fullness of the Godhead! on @KLRNRadio.com 6AM CST Sat #GPWF #Christian & on rahardin.com anytime speak to Alexa say, "Play God's Pure Word of Faith."SUPREME COURT DECISION: CHURCH OF HOLY TRINITY vs UNITED STATES; FEB 29, 1892."These and many other matters which might be noticed, add a volume of unofficial declarations to the mass of organic utterances that this is a Christian Nation"143 U.S. 457; 12 S. Does Salvation Require Knowledge of Jesus?by Dennis Linscomb How can God be all-loving and all-just in condemning to hell all of the people who, by no fault of their own, happened to be born in a time and place in which they had no contact with the gospel or even any Judeo-Christian influence? If God did not condemn these people to hell but offered them some plan of salvation, what did this offer look like? Does salvation require knowledge of Jesus? A conservative estimate of the number of people who lived on earth from 10,000 BC to 2,000BC is 64 million (the sum of the Lower Summary figures from the US Census Bureau link-see the Works Cited section at the end of this paper for this and all other references). I started with10,000 BC because that is the earliest estimate I could find. The reason I stopped at 2,000 BC isbecause this is roughly the time when Abraham of the Old Testament (OT) lived and marks thebeginning of Yahweh's dealings with the OT Patriarchs. So there were at least 64 million peoplewho lived their entire lives and could not possibly have come into contact with any OT oral orwritten theology.I think you can easily increase this figure of 64 million significantly by adding to it the millions, possibly billions, of people who lived and died after 2,000 BC who never came in contact withany OT or New Testament (NT) oral or written theology. This would include the following groups of people: • those who lived after 2,000 BC but before Jesus lived and who had no contact with OT oralor written theology • those who lived during the time of Jesus but had no contact with OT oral or writtentheology nor any contact with the Palestine region to know about Jesus' teachings • those who lived after Jesus but had no contact with OT or NT oral or written theology Can we as Christians really believe that God ignored these people and condemned them to hell because they lived during the wrong period in history? Porphyry (c. 234-305 AD), a critic of Christianity, recognized this problem when he asked: "If Christ declares himself to be the way of salvation, the grace and the truth, and affirms that in him alone, and only to souls believing in him, is the way of return to God, what has become of men who lived in the many centuries before Christ came? ... What, then, has become of such an innumerable multitude of souls, who were in no wise blameworthy, seeing that he in whom alone saving faith can be exercised had not yet favored men with his advent?" If God "wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim. 2:4), then it logically follows that everyone must have some kind of access to salvation.
Welcome to episode 149 of Grasp the Bible. In this episode, we continue our study in the Book of Galatians, covering chapter 3:1-14. The series is called “Free.” Today, we will cover: Paul defends the gospel by experience: The reception of the Spirit (vv. 1-5) Paul defends the gospel using Scripture: Abraham and faith (3:6–14) Key takeaways: Paul argues that the Galatians have received the Spirit. He concludes from this that they are justified by faith instead of by works of law. The Spirit is the sign that one belongs to the people of God. Believing—not doing—was the pathway to receiving the Spirit. Since the Galatians have the Spirit, they are members of the new people of God. They are part of the family of Abraham, and hence they do not need to observe the Torah. Abraham's faith was what constituted him as righteous before God. The Galatians, then, do not need to be circumcised to be Abraham's sons. They are already his children if their faith is in Christ Jesus. It was God's intention from the beginning to bless the Gentiles, as long as they exercised the same kind of faith as Abraham. The Gentiles receive the blessing of Abraham provided that they believe like Abraham. Those who do not do everything enjoined in the law are cursed. It is the failure to do all that is written in the law that condemns, not the desire to keep the law! The curse of the law lies on all people since the law demands perfect obedience. Quotable: Faith alone is the only way to be right with God. We cannot do anything to merit or earn God's favor. Application: Both justification (being declared right before God) and sanctification (the lifelong process of being conformed to Jesus' likeness) are due to the Spirit's work and are the result of faith. The Christian life is a battle to rely on the gospel, and even as Christians we are inclined to look to ourselves and trust in our own achievements rather than relying solely on the cross of Christ. Righteousness by faith is taught in both the Old Testament (OT) and the New Testament (NT). It is not as if OT saints were right with God on the basis of their works, while NT saints are righteous by faith. Paul argues clearly here that Abraham was justified by faith. Therefore, salvation in both the OT and the NT is by faith alone. There is only one way of salvation. Legalism is silly and shallow because it is attempted by people who have not and cannot keep God's commands, and yet somehow they still think they can put God in their debt. Law obedience, then, is contrary to faith since it is predicated on obeying instead of believing to obtain salvation, on performing what is required instead of trusting God's work in Christ. The attempt, then, to be righteous by keeping the law is fundamentally opposed to believing, to trusting what God has done in Christ for justification. Corruption in office is a serious matter that results in severe consequences, not only for officeholders and their associates, but also for political parties and even for nations. Since this dishonesty is so costly a matter in government, what can we do proactively to prevent it? Since corruption does not happen overnight, what lies specifically at its headwaters? The Old Testament (OT) psalmist speaks to the progression of corruption in his first psalm. In this study we take a closer look at these six verses and glean God's wisdom about this serious and ruinous matter. In this study let us attempt to get a better grip and understanding of the Old Testament (OT) book of Proverbs. We will gain an understanding of the various kinds of formal structures that God has incorporated in this book; such insights will greatly aid our comprehension. God penned this book through His servant Solomon, the wisest man of his day (cf. 1 Kings 3:28) and of all time (1 Kings 3:12). Most interestingly for those who hold governmental office, a king wrote the book to his son who would be king. Accordingly, it has great, direct application to those whom God has called to represent Him in the capital community; it is necessary study for anyone who seeks to lead! What follows will greatly aid you in wise governmental leadership. Discover more Christian podcasts at lifeaudio.com and inquire about advertising opportunities at lifeaudio.com/contact-us.

The Pharisees were a group of zealous Jews who were contemporaries of Jesus Christ. They believed that the way they would please God and make it to heaven was by meticulously following a long list of religious rules and regulations. The Mosaic LawThe foundation of the Pharisaical rules was the “Torah” – the law that God gave through Moses to the Jewish people of the Old Testament (OT). The Law was important. It reflected God's purposes and boundaries for his chosen people, Israel.Deuteronomy 6:17 You must diligently obey the commands of the Lord your God – all the laws and decrees he has given you.The most famous part of the Torah is the 10 Commandments, but these are actually just 10 of a total of 613 commandments given to the ancient Israelites. The MishnahWhile following 613 commandments would be hard enough, over time Jewish leaders began to slowly add to these laws in the Mishnah. This additional teaching is an ongoing compilation of sermons and sayings by Jewish rabbis meant to interpret the original Mosaic Law. The original intent of these additions was to clarify the law, but it ended up adding many layers of complicated regulations. This Mishnah was already lengthy in Jesus's day and continues to grow to this day. So for the Pharisees, they not only tried to follow the 613 commandments of the Mosaic Law, but the literally thousands of new commandments that were created to clarify the original 613 commandments.[External Resource: What is the Mishnah? What is a midrash?]For example, in the Mosaic Law, one of the commandments is to keep the Sabbath holy, which means that Jews were not supposed to work on Saturdays. But to clarify this, the Jewish scholars created thirty-nine separate categories of what “work” means, and within those thirty-nine categories there are many sub-categories. So to follow the rule of not working on the Sabbath, there are literally thousands of sub-rules to follow, including how many steps you can take, and how many letters you can write on the Sabbath.Where the Pharisees Went WrongWhile most average Jews in Jesus's day didn't even attempt to follow all of these additions to the original Mosaic Law, the Pharisees did. They prided themselves on following not just the letter of the Mosaic Law, but even the letter of the Mishnah. Most notably, the Pharisees sought to abide by the external laws that distinguished the Jewish people from all of the other nations – the laws that made them outwardly distinct. These included laws about what to eat, what to wear, circumcision, how to pray out loud, etc.The impulse that drove the Pharisees was good. When Israel returned from exile, they were repentant - at least for a while. But the influence of Greek culture in the middle east after Alexander the Great led Israelites astray. The area where the Jews lived was ruled by Greek generals. Greek (or “Hellenistic”) culture become prominent. The Pharisees arose as a movement to return Israel to faithful obedience to God. But their idea of how to do what was misguided. It went in the wrong direction. In one instance, Jesus critiqued how the Pharisees' use of the Mishnah actually went against what God valued most. Tell the story of healing a man's hand on Sabbath day.Mark 3:1-5 Jesus went into the synagogue and noticed a man with a deformed hand. Since it was the Sabbath, Jesus' enemies watched him closely. If he healed the man's hand, they planned to accuse him of working on the Sabbath. Jesus said to the man with...

Jesus only became exalted to the fullness of Godhead, Trinity, after His death and then He became the third part of the Trinity after His resurrection. When Jesus was exalted to the fullness of the Godhead, the Trinity of God came into existence: God the Father, Jesus the Son and Their Spoken Living Word, Christ. This is very different than what is being presently taught as the "Christian World View." Throughout the Old Testament (OT) it seems like some sins really make God upset, and they upset Him quickly. With other sins in the OT, it seems as though God isn't that bothered by them. Uzzah touched the ark, and God struck him dead. David and others had multiple wives, and it seems like God doesn't mind. Maybe He even condones it. In light of all these instances, how do we make sense of God handling sin in the OT?
One common critique of the Old Testament (OT) is that it presents a mean God... a wrathful God. In the OT, God kills cities and nations… but isn't Jesus all about love? Aren't we supposed to be grace-filled and compassionate? How do we make sense of all the judgment in the OT? What does that say about the character of God?

Pastor Tom Ascol continues his series on Ecclesiastes with a sermon on Chapter 5, Verses 1 through 7 entitled “Worship God Reverently.” Worship matters to God, He cares what we think of Him and how we act out those beliefs. Unfortunately, true reverence is often lacking in today’s worship. In today’s text the author shifts from giving his own observations about life in a fallen world to instructing us how to approach God in worship. The Preacher, the author of the book, gives four specific warnings. First, we are to be careful how we enter worship. God’s holiness demands reverence not a casual approach. As we “guard our steps” we should also “draw near to listen.” This is one reason why a church should put so much emphasis on preaching the Word of God. Worship is not to be a matter of convenience but rather a thoughtful commitment. The second point made is again practical. We are to be careful what we say in worship. God’s word is full of warnings about the misuse of our tongues; this is especially true in our worship. God, for example, does not measure our prayers by their length or use of big words. He knows our needs before we do; He is God. In our worship, we should work at focusing on Him, remembering what He has done for us, and not letting our minds wander. The third warning concerns vows. While the Bible does not forbid vows, we are to exercise care and wisdom in the making of vows. We are not to misuse vows for sinful purposes or to attempt to relieve ourselves from legitimate responsibilities (Mark 7:11 – 13). Once made though, vows should be completed for it is better not to make a vow than not to keep a vow. Ultimately, the point here is that God expects integrity and honesty in His people, particularly in their worship. Finally comes the Preacher’s fourth caution. Worshippers are to be careful to fear God. Approaching God on our terms leads only to futility and emptiness; it is a vanity. God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24). Fearing God is to remember who He is and who we are. We are to revere Him. Throughout the centuries God has made known to man the way to approach Him. In the Old Testament (OT) it was clearly a costly experience centered on God’s absolute holiness. The reason for the OT sacrifices was to signify the only way of approaching God required atonement. Ultimately, all the animal deaths in the world could not provide sufficient atonement for men. That atonement came by way of the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary. True worship now can be effected only through relationship with Christ; it is through Him that we can come to God and be joyfully accepted into His family. The Old Testament (OT) is often seen as hard-to-read stories that are out of date and boring. With this view, many Christians today don't engage with ⅔ of our Scriptures. What if this has aided a shallow faith? What if we are missing a lot about who God is because of this problem? This episode aims to answer some common questions about the OT and draw people into seeing the OT as profitable and necessary for their Christian life today.
