Religious Liberty Explained and Analyzed
Dear RLR Family,We bring you RLR 179 where we discuss the complex subject of the HYPOTHESIS of the GENEALOGICAL ADAM and EVE.Genealogical ancestry is not genetic ancestry, and that genealogical ancestry is more important in establishing that Adam and Eve could have been ancestors to the entire human race alive today and that Adam and Eve could have lived a mere 6,000 years ago. Thus, the traditional de novo account of the creation of Adam and Eve could have occurred alongside evolution of human descent. This leaves intact the Genesis account and allows room for evolutionary science. The Genealogical Hypothesis Summarized1) Adam and Eve could have lived as recently as 6,000 years agio in the Middle East.2) Adam and Eve are the genealogical ancestors of the entire human race as it exists today.3) Adam and Eve were created de novo by an act of God from dust and Adam's rib.4) There was interbreeding between the lines of Adam and Eve and those that were found outside of the Garden.5) The main findings of evolutionary science can be reconciled with traditional readings of Genesis where those outside of the Garden would have shared common descent with the great apes, and humans are descended not from an original human couple, but from a larger population that included these people from outside of the Garden.

I am pleased to deliver to you Episode 174 where I report on President Trump's address to the joint session of Congress, the beginning of Ramadan, the history of the Temple Mount, the Al Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock. Jude 33 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. President Donald Trump's speech on Tuesday evening resonated deeply with people of faith, as he reaffirmed his commitment to religious liberty, family values, and policies that align with conservative principles. His address emphasized the importance of protecting American traditions, defending religious freedoms, and ensuring that faith remains central to the nation's moral and cultural fabric. Religious Liberty: Trump pledged to protect religious institutions and individuals from government overreach, reaffirming support for faith-based organizations.Family & Traditional Values: Emphasized strong families, pro-life policies, and resisting cultural shifts away from traditional values.National Security & Christian Communities: Highlighted victories against ISIS and reinforced commitment to protecting persecuted Christians globally.Economic Empowerment for Faith-Based Groups: Advocated fair trade and deregulation to strengthen faith-based charities, churches, and businesses. It's clear by the agenda that has been set before the American people by our commander in chief that we, the faith community, have a lot to celebrate - but also a lot of work to do.We have an administration that will work with us, celebrate, and even champion our values. It is also evident that our nation is still greatly divided, and therefore, we have the significant responsibility to pray for our leaders and pray for our nation.

The Problem Is the Banana on the Wallby John Horvat IINovember 28, 2024The Problem Is the Banana on the WallEveryone has an explanation for the turn of events in November. It's the economy, the culture, a failure to connect with working-class Americans. All these are valid reasons. However, I have my own explanation that sheds some light on what has gone wrong in America. It explains something of the craziness of our times. I think the problem is the banana on the wall.I know it sounds exoteric, but let me explain. I think the banana metaphor will help clarify why some Americans reacted during the election. An Auction in New YorkMy reasoning centers on a recent event in New York City in which the renowned Sotheby's auction house sold a 2019 art piece dubbed “Comedian” by Maurizio Cattelan. The work consisted of a fresh banana duct-taped to the wall. The bidding started at $800,000, and within five minutes, the item sold for $5.2 million plus auction house fees, which came to a total of $6.2 million. The new owner is Chinese-born crypto-businessman Justin Sun.The actual banana cost thirty-five cents when bought in the morning at an Upper East Side fruit stand. The new owner will get a certificate of authenticity and installation instructions should he want to replace the banana before it rots. Mr. Sun has already announced that he will eat the original banana “as part of this unique artistic experience, honoring its place in both art history and popular culture.”Commenting after the sale, Billy Cox, a Miami art dealer with his own copy of “Comedian,” says the work is something of historical importance that comes only “once or twice a century.”The Elephant in the Room Is the Banana on the WallSomething is profoundly wrong here. That's why I think the problem with our country is the banana on the wall. It's the elephant in the room that no one wants to see.We are living in a society where certain liberal sectors inhabit an alternative reality where thirty-five-cent bananas are handled as multimillion-dollar works of art. The problem is that they want to force everyone else in society to believe their madness. The only way to get out of this mess is for innocent souls with enough common sense to break the spell of this absurd consensus by crying out, “It's not art! It's just a banana! Can't you see?”Insisting on AbsurditiesTo return to our original problem, what happened in November was a clash of two groups. The first are those who do not want to see the absurdity of the banana on the wall and dogmatize that it is art. They create their own reality and impose it on the nation. The second group consists of those tired of being told a banana taped to the wall is art. They long to live in a world where art is art and bananas are bananas. In the election, some of the latter group said, “Enough is enough.”Other Bananas on the WallThis reaction was not against a single banana on one wall. You see, there is the banana that claims a man is a woman and a woman is a man. Other bananas claim that people can choose their pronouns, pornography in libraries is literature or that it is just fine for men to compete with women in sports. We are told drag queen story hours are suitable for children, after-school Satan Clubs are educational and it is not a human baby but a clump of cells. It is all part of a vast banana extravaganza that we are asked to admire and make believe is the blueprint for a dream society. Sensible people are starting to do the unthinkable: Question the real value of these bananas of absurdity that appear on the walls of our wayward culture. An AwakeningThus, the election represents an awakening that comes none too soon. When absurdities are enshrined in a culture, anything can happen. Truth is denied, morals are eroded and a cult of ugliness reigns. The cruelest manifestations of intolerance and cancellation are possible since the absurd demands absolute acceptance. It cannot tolerate innocent souls that call a spade a spade and denounce the nonsense of the banana on the wall. The time has come for a return to order and sanity. It is long past time to take the bananas off the wall.
Merry Christmas to you. This week's episode focuses on American jurisprudence as it relates to Christmas displays on public property, Charlie Brown's "true meaning of Christmas", and two classic Nativity poems. The spot highlighting South Florida Bible College can be heard at approximately the 27:00 minute mark. An article by Stephen Lind Associate Professor of Clinical Business Communication, University of Southern California serves as a basis for the section on Charlie Brown's "true meaning of Christmas."
Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3). Legal challenges to Christmas and holiday displays have been going on for decades. In order to combat the anti-Christmas sentiment outside of the courtroom, a nonprofit religious liberty organization is encouraging shoppers to do so with their wallets. Liberty Counsel's Naughty and Nice List classifies retailers according to whether they censor or celebrate Christmas — an allusion, of course, to Santa's list of naughty and nice children from the Christmas standard "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town."Urging Americans "to give the gift of Christmas back to the companies who support it," the group says, "If retailers choose to profit from Christmas while pretending it does not exist, we encourage you to politely explain why and then patronize their competitors." The list forms part of Liberty Counsel's annual "Friend or Foe Christmas Campaign," which the organization launched in 2003 to counter a rising tide of opposition to the public celebration of Christmas."The war against Christmas is nothing new, and it is certainly evident today in the form of religious discrimination and hostility," says Liberty Counsel founder and Chairman Mat Staver. "Repressive forces have always had the same goal — to first secularize and then to eliminate Christmas and Christian symbols, celebrations and speech. In America, the First Amendment is a guard against censorship and religious hostility. In the retail market, the consumer can decide to patronize stores that recognize Christmas and avoid those that profit from Christmas while pretending it does not exist."
The Atlantic is a monster in autumn. And her violent rages have claimed countless ships over the ages. But this crossing was especially bad. The Pilgrims spent the whole time cramped below deck. Trapped in a dark, cold, and wet cargo hold. Crouching because the ceilings were too low for them stand. Breathing in the stench of rancid puke, which slushed around their feet as the Mayflower was rocked by ocean swells. Sometimes, the storms were so severe that her crew had no choice but to lower the sails and let the Mayflower drift for days on end. The gales were so powerful they would have ripped off her masts and left them all stranded. One pilgrim who did venture on deck was swept overboard. Luckily for him, quick-witted sailors were able to throw him a line and pull him from the ocean before he drowned. But he learned his lesson. After 66 grueling days at sea, on the morning of November 9, 1620, Mayflower's crew espied Cape Cod. As the sun was rising behind them. They had finally reached the New World. And just in time for winter. 004 The Mayflower has successfully made it across the Atlantic, though she sustained a lot of damage along the way and was almost wrecked. The pilgrims intended to land on the mouth of the Hudson River. However, traumatized and exhausted from crossing the Atlantic, with the Mayflower severely damaged, they dropped anchor in Cape Cod Bay. Another child was born a few days later. They named him Peregrine, from the Latin Peregrinus — which means "one who has travelled from distance lands". He was their first American.
We are deep into the end times Not a time to dabble in sinBut instead we should be redeeming the timeA time to be called to holiness and righteousness This is a desperate hour We are living in the end timesWe are living in very important timesThough most of us are oblivious to this We want to encourage you: There are many reasons today to be afraid It can be very difficult to fight against all of these thingsIt seems that so much is against us.Harsh words all Around us.As Christians there are so many things that want to take our peace and testimony.I will not fear what flesh can do to me said David in his psalmWe must settle it in our hearts. The Bible starts and ends in EdenThe Bible is the revelation of the character and will of God telling us who he is and how we can have a relationship with God.The Bible is God's written relvelation to his people.God reveals himself in many ways But over time the revelations of God became inscripturated.Written down into the Bible66 books that we call the bible; Divinely inspired texts that document what god has done throughout history and interprets those events.
The older we get, the faster it seems that time passes. That's not a good thing, right? Because we know the destination of this runaway train. It's hurtling faster and faster and faster towards what some view as the edge of the abyss. If only we could slow it down. But as believers in God's Holy Word we know that this runaway train can be returned to the track of holiness and godliness where our destination is not over the edge into an abyss, but rather towards a glorious end…where we can become what God intended us to be…Who owns the land of Israel? Are Jews modern-day colonizers of the land? HERE ARE 10 REASONS WHY CHRISTIANS SHOULD VOTE:Voting publicly recognises that we submit to the authority of the political system in our nation as established by God. (Romans 13:1-7)Voting recognises the equality of all people and their right to speak and be heard. (Deuteronomy 10:17-19)It is one way that we can obey God's command to seek the good of those around us and our nation as a whole. (Jeremiah 29:5-6) It shows that we care deeply about who our leaders are as we are urged to offer prayer and intercession on their behalf. (1 Timothy 2:1,2) It is a simple yet significant way we can do something about politics in our nation. 'All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing', Edmund Burke. (Psalms 34:14)It makes a difference the way a grain of salt makes a difference, and that is how we are to influence our society for good. (Matthew 5:13)It is a privilege not to be taken for granted. Those of us who reap the benefits of living in a democracy should play a part in upholding democracyNot voting is a form of voting, as it will influence the outcome. We need to take responsibility for our actions, as well as our lack of actions. (Luke 10:25-37)Voting has biblical precedence for example Acts 14:23 describes that the early Christians elected elders by voting.Voting is part of our stewardship to use all the resources we have been given in ways that honor God; to waste a vote is to squander a gift.THE HISTORICAL ADAM Adam and Eve,In Genesis two and three. Are they just symbolic?Defending the existence of a founding human pair that lived only a few thousand years ago. population genetics.Theological anthropology Both modern theologians and modern scientists are arguing that a historical Adam and Eve might have been real, not merely figurative, or metaphorical ancestors of the human race. Modern science in the area of genomics and paleo archeology are fueling debates on the “historical” Adam and Eve and whether such an original human couple truly existed or whether the Adam and Eve we read of in Genesis are only figurative representations of how the human race originated. modern genetics paleo archeology are now coming to bear on the biblical narrative of Genesis. Was there a single, founding couple, or is the human race the result of evolutionary processes where humans evolved from prior hominid lifeforms? Did humanity originate with an original human pair, Adam and Eve, or did humans evolve from a progression of early hominins? Surprisingly, a vast majority of people of faith do not give much thought or concern into the inquiry of whether the human race began with a literal Adam and Eve. This is changing, however, as the issue has garnered increased attention from scientists and theologians alike as modern science is probing further and deeper to provide greater understanding of human population genetics from clues found in the modern human gene pool. Employing a sort of reverse engineering, paleo archeologists are studying the modern human gene pool to trace back to the origins of the human bloodline, even to an original human pair. For Christians today the issue may be as important as the debate regarding the theory of evolution was in the early twentieth century as several fundamental Christian doctrines are brought to bear from the doctrine of the mankind's fall from grace in Eden to the doctrine of original sin where sin passed down to all men and women on account of Adam and Eve eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Modern evolutionary theory has long been a constant point of tension with biblical creationism and the question of whether there existed a literal original human pair is a natural extension of the creation-evolution debate.
Miami-Dade school board votes against recognizing LGBTQ+ History Month for 3rd year in a rowFor the third year in a row, the Miami-Dade County school board voted against a proposal to recognize October as LGBTQ+ History Month. The 5-3 vote on Wednesday came hours after the school board heard a mix of passionate opinions about whether to approve item H-10.VOTE NO ON AMNDMENT 4 NO Definitions Unlike other Amendments, Amendment 4 does not define any of its key terms. For example, it does not define “viability,” “health care provider,” “patient's health,” or how serious a health concern would need to be to allow exceptions for late-term abortions. These uncertainties create loopholes resulting in more abortions later in pregnancy than voters intend. Too EXTREMEAmendment 4 goes TOO FAR by allowing late-term abortions, far beyond when science says the baby is capable of feeling pain. Amendment 4 would overturn current laws requiring a parent's consent BEFORE a minor can have an abortion, thereby making abortion the only medical procedure that can be performed on a minor without a parent's permission. Amendment 4 pretends to “just bring things back to how they were with Roe vs. Wade” – but it actually goes much further – creating a constitutional right to abortion throughout all nine months with no protections for the unborn baby.Should Christians be in politics? Can politics save America? For years, RLR has urged Christians to take seriously theirobligations as citizens, starting with exercising the right tovote. In the public square and at the ballot box, we must bemore engaged, not less. Q. But what happens in a race where Christians are facedwith two morally problematic choices? Q. Should voters cast a ballot for the lesser of two evils? When it comes to citizenship in our current political context, Christians are plagued by two opposite mistakes. The first is French theologian Jacques Ellul called “the political illusion,” or, assuming that everything rests on political outcomes. “If our guy is in office, all will be well. If their guy is in office, all will be lost.” The political illusion, to be clear, plagues both sides of the political and theological aisles. To describe a particular candidate in messianic terms is to suffer from the political illusion. To describe him or her as the anti-Christ is also to suffer from the political illusion. No political candidate will “save Christianity.” No candidate can “irreparably harm” it either. Other Christians are plagued by the political delusion, the idea that political engagement of any kind is pointlessly unnecessary or perhaps even implicates one in evil. Of course, there are cases throughout history where an election is a farce, or where political engagement aligns one with unmitigated evil. Neither is not the case for American Christians today. I will put it bluntly, for American Christians, voting is both a civic duty and a Christian responsibility. The late, great Chuck Colson once wrote: The next time you hear someone tell you that Christians ought to take a vacation from politics, tell them to go fly a kite. Listen, it's our duty as citizens of the kingdom of God to be the best citizens of the society we live in.Brothers and sisters, Christianity and good citizenship go together.
Forgiving, But Not Forgetting The phrase “forgive and forget” is not found in the Bible. However, there are numerous verses commanding us to “forgive one another” (e.g., Matthew 6:14 and Ephesians 4:32). A Christian who is not willing to forgive others will find his fellowship with God hindered (Matthew 6:15) and can reap bitterness and the loss of reward (Hebrews 12:14–15; 2 John 1:8).If by “forgive and forget” one means, “I choose to forgive the offender for the sake of Christ and move on with my life,” then this is a wise and godly course of action. As much as possible, we should forget what is behind and strive toward what is ahead (Philippians 3:13). We should forgive each other “just as in Christ God forgave” (Ephesians 4:32).We must not allow a root of bitterness to spring up in our hearts (Hebrews 12:15).However, changing hearts is God's business, and, until an offender has a true, supernatural heart change, it is only wise to limit the level of trust one places in that person.Being cautious doesn't mean we haven't forgiven. It simply means we are not God and we cannot see that person's heart. When we neglect or refuse to forgive the sins of others, we become like a collection agency. The debt of their sin weighs us down with an obligation to make them pay.At first, we may relish the prospect of extracting restitution from the person who wronged us. Over time, though, the task of debt collection grows burdensome. When the offender does not meet our expectations, our hearts harden toward them.If we continue the relationship, resentment may seep in.I was in a discussion the other day about forgiveness and somebody said forgiving isn't forgetting it's just remembering without anger they also suggested forgiveness can't be extended unless repentance is first expressed? Some suggest that we can only forgive when someone truly repents or that we can somehow forgive but not forget. In Luke chapter 23 Jesus prayed for the soldiers who were crucifying him and he said “father forgive them for they don't know what they're doing” and his prayer asking forgiveness isn't based on any repentance on the part of the soldiers In Matthew 18 when Peter asked how many times he's to forgive someone who sinned against him Jesus doesn't condition forgiveness on the requirement for repentance on the part of the offending party. Peter was willing to forgive 7 times but Jesus said no it needs to be 70 * 7 which I think is a hypothetical grand number. A number suggesting you need to extend forgiveness an infinite number of times.still another verse is ephesians 4:26 where we are told that when we get angry we are not to sin and we're told to be sure not to let the sun go down on our wrath now, when it comes to the concept or argument or proposition that forgiving isn't forgetting, that I still struggle to match that up with Scripture.in Hebrews 8:12 God said I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more. I am concerned that when someone says “I'll forgive but I won't forget” I'm not sure they've truly forgivenI think that's the point being stressed there in the Hebrews 8:12 passage where, you know, God can't ever forIget something since he's omniscient, but the verse is suggesting that true forgiveness, from a divine and a human perspective, is as if we've forgotten that the offense took placeWithout pushing the divine human analogy too far, I think that is what Hb 8:12 is referring to so I believe when we forgive, even when someone hasn't asked to be forgiven, we're mirroring what Jesus did on the cross and it allows us to guard against harboring resentment which can produce a root of bitterness which Hebrews 12:15 says we're not supposed to have. One mark of true forgiveness on our part is that the memory of the offense will fade over time so that we don't dwell on itForgiveness means giving up our claim against the person who sinned against us.Depending on the nature of the offense, a pardon may also include the restoration of a broken relationship. When restoration is reasonable and safe, trust must be earned. While reunification may not be possible or prudent in every instance, God always wants us to forgive.

We review the absurdity of viewing ethics and truth as depending on person, group or culture, like it would for one's taste in ice cream or music. In Messiah: 2030 an astounding, bold and very biblically focused little book Clive Douglas Campbell makes the case that biblical and historical chronology, as well as the figurative meanings of biblical texts, indicate the year but not the day and hour of the coming of the Messiah, God¹s King Who is coming to reign. In addition to a strong case being made for a seven-millennia plan and time line of God, Campbell puts forward some astounding new thoughts:Between probably 4 1/2 billion B.C. and 3966 B.C., the earth was further from the sun. The creation "week," which began in 3970 B.C., was seven years long. The moon is a figure for the Holy Spirit in the fourth "day" of the creation "week." The garden of Eden was at the site of Jerusalem. God likely tilted the earth's axis at the Fall. The World Trade Center Towers are in the Bible. The fifth Arab-Israeli war will be over in 2003. Animal sacrifices at a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem will begin about 2020. At the Rapture, in 2023, the Lord will return with Moses and Elijah, both who have immortal bodies, to receive "the dead in Christ" and those "who are alive and remain," respectively. The Antichrist will come out of the ten-nation C.I.S.Druze (/ˈdruːz/ DROOZ;[19] Arabic: دَرْزِيّ, darzī or دُرْزِيّ durzī, pl. دُرُوز, durūz), who call themselves al-Muwaḥḥidūn (lit. 'the monotheists' or 'the unitarians'),[20]are an Arab and Arabic-speaking esotericethnoreligious group from West Asia who adhere to the Druze faith, an Abrahamic, monotheistic, syncretic, and ethnic religion whose main tenets assert the unity of God, reincarnation, and the eternity of the soul. Most Druze religious practices are kept secret. The Druze do not permit outsiders to convert to their religion. Marriage outside the Druze faith is rare and strongly discouraged. The Druze maintain Arabic language and culture as integral parts of their identity, and Arabic is their primary language. The Epistles of Wisdom is the foundational and central text of the Druze faith. The Druze faith originated in Isma'ilism (a branch of Shia Islam),and was influenced by Christianity, Gnosticism, Neoplatonism, Zoroastrianism, Gandharan Buddhism, Manichaeism,Pythagoreanism, and other philosophies and beliefs, creating a distinct and secretive theology based on an esoteric interpretation of scripture, which emphasizes the role of the mind and truthfulness. Druze believe in theophany and reincarnation.
The day when Kennedy was shot...the Kennedy day.Where were you when the second plane hit the tower?Man is bent toward evil. It's easy to be bad. it's hard to be good. The reason we need a government the reason we need police the reason we need an army a Navy an Air Force a Marine Corps the reason we need protection the reason we need Secret Service is because the central teaching of the Christian worldview—a unique teaching of the Christian worldview, most other worldviews don't teach this—is that men are bent toward evil, that we're basically evil and it's easy to be bad and hard to be good. One scholar theorizes that there are three main reasons for murder: there was either a (1) sex issue (2) a money issue or (3) a power issue. sex money or power. Those are the three things that can motivate people to murder.Without God there's no right, there's no wrong. There's no good. There's no evil. There's no just. There's no unjust. There's no right. Everything is a matter of opinion, and even atheists like Richard Dawkins would agree with this. They are assuming a moral standard when in their own worldview they have no way of justifying that moral standard because they don't even believe in God. They don't even think there's a God.What went wrong with security at the site?Men should be protecting women. Women shouldn't be protecting men. This is a basic teaching of Christianity. By the way, men and women are equal in essence only in Christianity. Other religions and worldviews do not abide by the equality of the essence of the sexes. But Christianity also teaches the obvious truth that men and women are also different in what they can and can't do and men most of the time are stronger than women.
The church is called to be the moral, the cultural conscience of the nation. We can't just stay on the sidelines and let the culture do its own thing. We are hoping to help equip you with tools to take your faith to the culture. And so that we may better understand and articulate our Christian worldview in a way that is courteous, kind, even winsome, yet bold, uncompromising, and committed to God's Word as our guide. What are the main problems between Israelis and Palestinians? Why are Israel and Gaza at war now? I more felt it, Gaius, than heard it.I questioned him mechanically and he answered very little. But what he said and the way he said it, it was as if his level gaze had pulled up my naked soul right up into my eyes and was probing it there. And a voice kept saying in my ears, “why, you're on trial Pilate!”And the man wasn't even listening to the charges. You'd have sworn he had just come in out of friendly interest to see what was going to happen to me.And the very pressure of his standing there had grown unbearable when a slave rushed in all a tremble, interrupting court bringing a message from Claudia; she had stabbed at the stylus in that childish way that she does when she's distraught, “don't judge this amazing man Pilate” she wrote, “I was haunted in dreams by him this night”.Gaius, I tried to free him. From that moment on I tried and I'll always think he knew it. I declared him out of my jurisdiction being a Galilean, but the native King Herod discovered he was born in Judea and sent him right back to me. I appealed to the crowd hoping that they would be his sympathizers. But Caiaphas had stationed agitators to whip up the beasts that cry for blood, and you know how in this town here any citizen loves the blood of another person just after breakfast and screams for another's blood.I had him beaten Gaius, a thorough barracks room beating. I'm still not sure why, to appease the crowd I guess, but do we Romans really need any reason for beatings? Isn't that the code for anything we don't understand? Well, it didn't work Gaius, the crowd roared like some slavering beast when I brought him back. If only you could have watched him. They had thrown some rags of mock-purple over his bleeding shoulders; they had jammed a chaplet of thorns down on his forehead and it fitted. It all fitted Gaius! He stood there, watching them from my balcony, flamed from weakness by now, but royal I tell you. Not just pain but pity shining from his eyes. And I kept thinking: somehow this is monstrous, this is upside-down, that purple is real, that crown is real, and somehow these animal noises the crowd is shrieking should be praise! And then Caiaphas played his master-stroke on me: He announced there in public that this Jesus claimed the crown and that was treason to Caesar. And the guards began to glance at one another quickly, and that mob of spineless filth began to shout, “Hail Caesar! Hail Caesar!” And Gaius, I knew I was beaten; I gave the order.I couldn't look at him. Then I did a childish thing: I called for water. And there on the balcony, I washed my hands of that whole affair. But as they led him away Gaius, I did look up and he turned and looked at me, no smile, no pity, just glanced at my hands, and I'll feel the weight of his eyes on them from now on.But you're yawning Gaius; I've kept you up. And the fact of the matter is you are in need of some rest and some holidays. Claudia will be asleep by now. Rows of lighted lamps line her couch; she can't sleep in the dark anymore; no, not since that afternoon. You see Gaius, the sun went out when my guards executed him; that's exactly what I said. I don't know how; I don't know what; I only know that I was there and though it was the middle of the day it turned as black as the tunnels of hell in that miserable city. And while I tried to compose Claudia and explain how I had been trapped, she railed at me with a dream and she's had that dream ever since when she sleeps in the dark, some form of it, that there was to have been a new Caesar and that I, her husband, had killed him.Oh, we've been to Egypt; to their seers and magicians. We've listened by the hour to the oracles in the musty temples of Greece chattering their inanities. We've called it an oriental curse that we're under and we've tried to break it a thousand ways Gaius, but there's no breaking it, except in even that it might not you see.But you know why I have kept going, Gaius?Deeper than the curse is the haunting driving certainty that he is still somewhere near, and that I have some unfinished business with him, and that now and then as I walk by the lake he's following me.And much as that strikes terror Gaius, I wonder if that isn't the only hope. You see, if I could walk up to him and this time salute and tell him that now I know that whoever else he is he was the only man worthy of his name in all Judea that day; tell him I know I wasn't trapped; that I trapped myself; tell him here is one Roman who wishes he really were Caesar, I believe that would do it Gaius wouldn't it? I believe he'd listen and know I meant it, and at last I'd see him smile.Yes, quiet tonight. Not a breeze stirring Gaius.Goodnight, you'd better run along. No no, would you please waken the slave outside the door and tell him to bring me my cloak, my heavy one, please. I believe I'll walk by the lake.Yes, it's dark there Gaius, but I won't be alone.I really haven't ever been alone; not since that day.Yes, goodnight, Gaius.
Recently, current states like Ireland, Spain, Norway. Hungary. Poland are calling for the unilateral establishment of a Palenstinian state, without Israeli support or consultation.None of these countries, Ireland, Spain, Norway. Hungary. Poland, acknowledged a state of Palestine before the October 7 massacre. None of them. None of them acknowledged a state of Palestine on October 6th.But After Hamas commits an atrocity on Oct 7, that's when many states say, OK, now you get a state. That's the way this works. You deserve a state. You deserve a state. Now. Is that going to facilitate peace in the region?Do you think that the Saudis are interested in a Palestinian state? They certainly are not. They have to say that they are because obviously their population hates Israel. But the Saudi leadership has zero interest In a state of Palestine that becomes an Iranian proxy state directed against it near its own borders, of course they're not interested in that. Which is why the Saudis openly said to the Biden administration. Please stop pressuring for a Palestinian state. Stop it.A false notion: That when a Palestinian state is magically established, all conflict in the Middle East goes away, which is absolutely irrational. Middle East Conflict – The vast majority of conflict in the Middle East, if you're counting dead, wounded, every war, has nothing to do with Israel or the Palestinians. Check out their own Iran-Iraq war, or the conflicts in Syria or ISIS or the takeover of Lebanon by Iran, if you don't believe me.War is a pretty constant feature of the region actually, as it turns out.The world in large measure trying to pressure Israel to make concessions to a terror entity. In the middle of a war against the terror entity meanwhile would facilitate peace. The notion that there should be a Palestinian state taking control of its own borders is an idea whose time is not here. Absolutely not, considering those borders have been used to facilitate terrorism.
152 - TRUMP, TEN COMMANDMENTS, NUCLEAR STOCKPILES, NUCLEAR ARMAGEDDON, WORST-CASE SCENARIOThis week's program is based on a recently released book "NUCLEAR WAR: A SCENARIO" by Annie Jacobsen Since the early 1950s, the United States government has spent trillions of dollars preparing to fight a nuclear war, while also refining protocols meant to keep the U.S. government functioning after hundreds of millions of Americans become casualties of an apocalyptic-scale nuclear holocaust...the plans for General Nuclear War are among the most classified secrets held by the U.S. government. There is no such thing as a small nuclear war” is an oft repeated phrase in Washington.1-megaton thermonuclear weapon detonation begins with a flash of light and heat so tremendous it is impossible for the human mind to comprehend. One hundred and eighty million degrees Fahrenheit is four or five times hotter than the temperature that occurs at the center of the Earth's sun.Humans created the nuclear weapon in the twentieth century to save the world from evil, and now, in the twenty-first century, the nuclear weapon is about to destroy the world. To burn it all down.their only hope for survival is to figure out how to “self-survive.” That here begins a “fight for food, water, Pedialyte . . .for all these years, since the end of World War II, the U.S. government has been preparing for, and rehearsing plans for, a General Nuclear War. A nuclear World War III that is guaranteed to leave, at minimum, 2 billion dead. A Plan for nuclear war is genocide.Four thousand times more explosive power than the bomb dropped on Hiroshima. What does this even mean—and is it something one's brain can fully comprehend?More immediately, can anyone stop the plan for mass extermination before it happens?”The atomic bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima in August 1945 killed more than 80,000 people in a single strike. The total numbers are debated still. What happened after U.S. war planners saw what 10.4 megatons could instantly destroy simply boggles the mind. What came next was a mad, mad rush to stockpile thermonuclear weapons, first by the hundreds and then by the thousands. In 1952 there were 841 nuclear bombs. The next year there were 1,169.“The process became industrialized,” Los Alamos historian Glen McDuff explains. “These were not science projects anymore.”By 1954, there were 1,703 nuclear weapons in the stockpile. The U.S. military-industrial complex was now churning out (on average) 1.5 nuclear weapons per day. 1955: 2,422. Almost two bombs per day, and with ten new systems introduced including three new styles of thermonuclear bombs.” 1956: 3,692 bombs. The numbers continued to escalate to the point of dizziness. With production levels soaring, these mass-destruction weapons were now coming off literal assembly lines at an average pace of 3.5 nuclear bombs per day.By 1957, there were 5,543 bombs in the U.S. stockpile. That is, 1,851 new nuclear weapons in a single year. And the numbers kept growing. 1958: 7,345. And growing. 1959: 12,298. By 1960, when the U.S. war planners met in the underground bunker in Nebraska, the U.S. stockpile contained 18,638 nuclear bombs. By 1967, it reached an all-time high of 31,255 nuclear bombs. Thirty-one thousand, two hundred and fifty-five nuclear bombs.

When Israel declared its independence in 1948, Iran was one of the first Muslim countries to recognize the new state. However, when Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini ousted Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi in the 1979 Islamic revolution, he severed all diplomatic and commercial ties with Israel. How close is Iran to having nuclear weapons? We are currently experiencing an Exponential increase in AI technology. It is staggering. The Equality Act (HR 15) is only five votes away from passing in the US House of Representatives. If the “Equality Act” passes, it will target everyone, especially people of faith. THE FOUR (4) GREAT QUESTIONS OF LIFE:Q. Who am I?Q. Where did I come from?Q. Why am I here?Q. Where am I going when I die?Creationism and evolution compared and contrasted and the four theories of creationism are described. There is perhaps no greater cause of tension between faith and science than when the theories of evolution and creation are discussed. Evolution and creationism are two contrasting explanations for the origins and development of life on Earth. What is evolution? An ambiguous and vague question…The attempt to upgrade humans is likely to change the world beyond recognition in just a few years. Scientific research and technological developments are moving at a far faster rate than most of us can grasp. We are rushing towards a great unknown. This is the technological singularity. Borrowed from astrophysics, the term singularity refers to a tipping point beyond which all laws that are currently known simply fall apart because the laws of physics fall apart beyond the singularity of a black hole. A technological singularity is a similar tipping point. When technological progress is so overwhelming that we will no longer be in control of it or the things that will lead to.
Most people pay attention to actions more than to words. They hear what you say, but they see more what you do. We we do in life echoes in eternity. No matter what you are going through today, don't quit and do not be defeated. You are doing the best you can, Remember, giving up is not who you are. You may pause, take a long breath, pivot and then keep going. In faith and by God's grace, you can overcome. You can be at peace again soon of you trust in God and are patient.Possible Date for Christ's ResurrectionMany scholars believe that Christ died and rose from the dead again in AD 30. Even more prefer a date in AD 33, although champions of several other dates can also be found. If the events recorded in the gospels took place in AD 33, then this day, April 23, 33 is the probable date for Christ's resurrection. To be clear, the Bible does not explicitly specify the precise date of Jesus's crucifixion and it is not an essential salvation truth. But that does not make it unknowable or unimportant. Because Christianity is a historical religion and the events of Christ's life did take place in human history alongside other known events, it is helpful to locate Jesus's death—as precisely as the available evidence allows—within the larger context of human history. In the Pharisaic-rabbinic calendar commonly used in Jesus's day, Passover always falls on the fifteenth day of Nisan (Exodus 12:6), which begins Thursday after sundown and ends Friday at sundown. In the year a.d. 33, the most likely year of Jesus's crucifixion, Nisan 15 fell on April 3, yielding April 3, a.d. 33, as the most likely date for the crucifixion.
Does Salvation Require Knowledge of Jesus?by Dennis Linscomb How can God be all-loving and all-just in condemning to hell all of the people who, by no fault of their own, happened to be born in a time and place in which they had no contact with the gospel or even any Judeo-Christian influence? If God did not condemn these people to hell but offered them some plan of salvation, what did this offer look like? Does salvation require knowledge of Jesus? A conservative estimate of the number of people who lived on earth from 10,000 BC to 2,000BC is 64 million (the sum of the Lower Summary figures from the US Census Bureau link-see the Works Cited section at the end of this paper for this and all other references). I started with10,000 BC because that is the earliest estimate I could find. The reason I stopped at 2,000 BC isbecause this is roughly the time when Abraham of the Old Testament (OT) lived and marks thebeginning of Yahweh's dealings with the OT Patriarchs. So there were at least 64 million peoplewho lived their entire lives and could not possibly have come into contact with any OT oral orwritten theology.I think you can easily increase this figure of 64 million significantly by adding to it the millions, possibly billions, of people who lived and died after 2,000 BC who never came in contact withany OT or New Testament (NT) oral or written theology. This would include the following groups of people: • those who lived after 2,000 BC but before Jesus lived and who had no contact with OT oralor written theology • those who lived during the time of Jesus but had no contact with OT oral or writtentheology nor any contact with the Palestine region to know about Jesus' teachings • those who lived after Jesus but had no contact with OT or NT oral or written theology Can we as Christians really believe that God ignored these people and condemned them to hell because they lived during the wrong period in history? Porphyry (c. 234-305 AD), a critic of Christianity, recognized this problem when he asked: "If Christ declares himself to be the way of salvation, the grace and the truth, and affirms that in him alone, and only to souls believing in him, is the way of return to God, what has become of men who lived in the many centuries before Christ came? ... What, then, has become of such an innumerable multitude of souls, who were in no wise blameworthy, seeing that he in whom alone saving faith can be exercised had not yet favored men with his advent?" If God "wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim. 2:4), then it logically follows that everyone must have some kind of access to salvation.
I have summoned you by name; you are mine. Isaiah 43:1The one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:6Feb 21 (Reuters) - Republican U.S. presidential candidate Nikki Haley said on Wednesday she believed frozen embryos created through in-vitro fertilization were babies, in comments seen as backing a controversial ruling by the Alabama Supreme Court.Late last Friday, the Alabama Supreme Court struck a devastating blow against Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry. In LePage v. The Center for Reproductive Medicine P.C., the Court ruled that “an unborn child is a genetically unique human being whose life begins at fertilization and ends at death.”The Court continued that “an unborn child” qualifies as a “human life,” “human being,” or “person” ... “throughout all stages of an unborn child's development, regardless of viability.” (emphasis added)The case involves a wrongful death lawsuit by three couples regarding the death of their frozen embryos at an IVF clinic. The deaths were caused by a clinic patient who wandered into the cryogenic nursery and tampered with an unsecured freezer resulting in the embryos being dropped on the floor.Chief Justice Tom Parker said, “The People of Alabama have declared the public policy of this State to be that unborn human life is sacred. We believe that each human being, from the moment of conception, is made in the image of God, created by Him to reflect His likeness. It is as if the People of Alabama took what was spoken of [by] the prophet Jeremiah and applied it to every unborn person in this state: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, Before you were born I sanctified you” (Jer. 1:5).The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) is a missionary organization that serves persecuted Christians in the world's most difficult and dangerous places to be a Christian. New National Geographic Documentary Fails to Tell the True Story of John Allen Chau: The Voice of the Martyrs' Todd Nettleton.Engel v. Vitale, 370 U.S. 421 (1962), was a landmark United States Supreme Court case in which the Court ruled that it is unconstitutional for state officials to compose an official school prayer and encourage its recitation in public schools, due to violation of the First Amendment. The ruling has been the subject of intense debate.Abington School District v. Schempp, 374 U.S. 203 (1963) School-sponsored Bible reading before class is unconstitutional. Santa Fe Independent School District v. Doe, 530 U.S. 290 (2000)Students may not use a school's loudspeaker system to offer student-led, student-initiated prayer.Epperson v. Arkansas, 393 U.S. 97 (1968), was a landmark United States Supreme Court case that invalidated an Arkansas statute prohibiting the teaching of human evolution in the public schools.[1] The Court held that the First Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits a state from requiring, in the words of the majority opinion, "that teaching and learning must be tailored to the principles or prohibitions of any religious sect or dogma." The Supreme Court declared the Arkansas statute unconstitutional because it violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. After this decision, some jurisdictions passed laws that required the teaching of creation science alongside evolution when evolution was taught. These were also ruled unconstitutional by the Court in the 1987 case Edwards v. Aguillard.Edwards v. Aguillard, 482 U.S. 578 (1987), was a United States Supreme Court case concerning the constitutionality of teaching creationism. The Court considered a Louisiana law requiring that where evolutionary science was taught in public schools, creation science must also be taught. The constitutionality of the law was successfully challenged in District Court, Aguillard v. Treen, 634 F. Supp. 426 (ED La.1985), and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit affirmed, Aguillard v. Edwards, 765 F.2d 1251 (CA5 1985). The United States Supreme Court ruled that this law violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment because the law was specifically intended to advance a particular religion. In its decision, the court opined that "teaching a variety of scientific theories about the origins of humankind to school children might be validly done with the clear secular intent of enhancing the effectiveness of science instruction."
And our children are being confused. Our children are being bombarded. The propaganda is intense in the schools. The first problem I have with that is that you don't sexualize kids, you don't sexualize children. And that's what they were doing.Karl Marx infamously said that if you want to take over a generation you erase their history, their legacy. That's what you do, and that's exactly what the enemy is doing, trying to erase that identity from that child.MAJOR THEORIES OF CREATIONISM Creationism is a religious belief that asserts that the universe, Earth, and all life were created by a supernatural being or beings. There are several major theories of creationism, each of which emphasizes different aspects of this belief.1. Young Earth Creationism: This theory asserts that the Earth and the universe were created by God around 6,000 to 10,000 years ago, as described in the Bible's book of Genesis. It rejects the scientific evidence for the age of the Earth and universe, and argues that fossils and geological formations were created during a global flood described in the Bible. 2. Old Earth Creationism: This theory accepts that the universe and Earth are billions of years old, but maintains that life on Earth was created by God. It suggests that God used evolution as a tool to create the diversity of life we see today. 3. Intelligent Design: This theory asserts that the complexity and diversity of life cannot be explained by natural selection and random mutation alone. It argues that there must be an intelligent designer, who is responsible for the complexity of biological systems.4. Theistic Evolution: This theory suggests that God used evolution to create life on Earth, and that evolution is compatible with religious belief. It accepts the scientific evidence for the age of the Earth and universe, and sees evolution as a natural process guided by God.
The First Amendment both prevents the government of the United States from privileging one religion over another and protects each and every one of us — as American citizens — to believe whatever we choose — or choose not — to believe about what God thinks, approves of or blesses.THE FOUR (4) GREAT QUESTIONS OF LIFE: Q. Who am I? Q. Where did I come from?Q. Why am I here?Q. Where am I going when I die? Biblical inerrancy is the belief that the Bible "is without error or fault in all its teaching"; or, at least, that "Scripture in the original manuscripts does not affirm anything that is contrary to fact". Some equate inerrancy with biblical infallibility; others do not.Biblical infallibility is the belief that what the Bible says regarding matters of faith and Christian practice is wholly useful and true. It is the "belief that the Bible is completely trustworthy as a guide to salvation and the life of faith and will not fail to accomplish its purpose."Five years ago, the controversial death of American missionary John Chau created an international conversation around modern Christian missions which continues even today with the release of a new National Geographic film about Chau's life and death called, "The Mission.""Tens of thousands of Christians are now aware of this unreached and unengaged people group and many are now praying for everyone on the island–an island they had never even heard of before John arrived there five years ago," said Nettleton.Argentine President Milei comments on the dangers to the West from collectivst ideologies at the World Economic Forum at Davos in 2024.
We are living in a new age of religious persecution and even martyrdom.OPEN DOORS WORLD WATCH LIST 2024More than 365 million Christians suffer high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith. There has never been a state in the geographic area known as Palestine that was not Jewish. Israel is the third Jewish state to exist in that area. There was never an Arab state, never a Palestinian state, never a Muslim or any other state. That's the issue: why can't the one Jewish state the size of El Salvador be allowed to exist? The Persecution of the Church first started in Acts 5 We obey God not men. When the government gets to the point where it persecutes the Church the Church must stay faithful to its mission. The Lord will accomplish his purposes and His will through whatever political movement. On a moral level, you have no moral right to promote a non-religion that is specifically directed at hatred of Christians. That's exactly what this is. Now, you may have a legal right to do that, but that's not the same thing as a moral right to do it. These are two different types of right. We have all sorts of legal rights to do things that are immoral in American Society. So, we have to separate those two things off because very often when we were talking about rights, we tend to conflate them. We tend to think something is legal, therefore it's moral, or it's moral, therefore it's legal. No, that's not the same thing. It is legal to use foul language or even racist speech in public, for example. It is immoral to do so. You should not. Similarly, it is not immoral to knock down a satanic statue. It may be illegal to do so, but it certainly is not immoral. From WikipediaDudeism is a religion, philosophy, or lifestyle inspired by "The Dude", the protagonist of the Coen Brothers' 1998 film The Big Lebowski. Dudeism's stated primary objective is to promote a modern form of Chinese Taoism, outlined in Tao Te Ching by Laozi (6th century BCE), blended with concepts from the Ancient Greek philosopher Epicurus (341–270 BCE), and presented in a style as personified by the character of Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski, a fictional character portrayed by Jeff Bridges in the film.Dudeism has sometimes been regarded as a mock religion due to its use of comedic film references and occasional criticism of religion in its traditional sense, but its founder and many adherents take the underlying philosophy somewhat (although not overly) seriously. March 6 is the annual sacred high holy day of Dudeism: The Day of the Dude.

The theme of self-absorption is pervading. there is a universe called “self” that must be the object of everyone's attention. There are no rules that [self] one must follow. Our quest for happiness must not be impeded by anything.Entering into this universe of self-worship is the great injustice of rules, duties and tragedy.[But], such intrusions happen in every man's life, especially those who should play great roles in society, like you and me. Most brave men and women—true Christians—embrace suffering and become individuals with character and honor. However, we want nothing to do with such proposals. Avoiding discomfort can become an obsession. The carnal mind and our fallen nature make it so that sin is justified.Do you have an aversion to service? Or is yours a life of sacrifice and service? Do you reject living in anyone else's shadow?Do you resent conformity to rules and norms that prevent you from being yourself? The postmodern notion of the self-created man who constructs himself based on his own whims and desires. This is a very present obsession. Or have you found a purpose in life by being disposed to serve a higher ideal than yourself? The service of God and neighbor can be the source of the great joy that eludes many. The most tragic part may be the complete absence of God and religion [in our lives and discussions]. Our path too often follows a societal, cold, secular outlook that excludes God from the panorama and from the equation. Our situation reflects well the words of the theologian Augustine, who speaks of two types of love: (1) “The love of God unto the forgetfulness of self, or (2) the love of self unto the forgetfulness and denial of God.”A Divine presence is the missing ingredient that would give meaning and purpose to many of our lives. Alas, it would do the same to all the actors in what is too often a sad drama. God's saving grace could breathe new life into our lives and the lives of our families and friends. The corrosive effect of the prevailing atheist culture upon our culture and communities has us in desperate need for God's mercy and grace. There is nothing to be gained in walking down the disastrous road of postmodernity where Every tradition and social structure must be questioned, and every narrative denied. This has been going on for a long time. What makes it possibly different for us today and what may set us apart is that Now, here, today…we are very likely deep into the end times. As the Gospel says, salt that loses its savor is only suited to be trodden underfoot.
