Welcome back to another exciting episode of discussing the topic: The Weight Of Your Words. Our guest this time is Omozua Isiramen, who has spent over twenty years achieving specialization in neuro-agility, emotional mastery, and actionable resilience. Today, she shares her perspective on what “the weight of your words” mean, discussing the concept of emotional mastery. She introduces the inner mind chihuahua — the amygdala in our brain that is always on the lookout for threats. With our inner mind chihuahua comes constant fear, which often causes us to become reactive to situations. And with those reactions, we create ripple effects. Omozua emphasizes the need for emotional mastery to tame our inner mind chihuahuas and become more responsible with our ripple effects towards other people. She explains how with emotional mastery, we can think more clearly and therefore act and say carefully, no matter what we feel at the moment. We can self-regulate and become more self-aware of the impacts of our words. Omozua then shares that this could shape the impact on our relationships and our lives. Join us as we explore the significance of spoken and unspoken words and learn how to possess emotional mastery.

Highlight from interview with Omozua Isiramen, Executive Life Coach, High-Performance Brain Trainer and Neuro Agility Expert. "Yeah, because people like to change and fix. And in my work, I like to say you are absolutely okay. The way you are, because the way you are is the way you have wound up. Due to where you've grown up, how you've been educated, your experience. There is nothing wrong with that. We cannot go ahead into the future thinking I'm not enough. I'm not good enough because what are the criteria by which you're measuring them all of that? Well, when you transform it is be able to identify what you truly bring to the team. And to understand from an emotional agility point, there are things that have served their purpose. When I cried, when my mom died four years later, that drain that bleeding heart, I felt I could release it. It served its purpose and to transform, that is what we need to realize. We need to let go of the things that have served them. You don't need to change anything because what happened, happened." https://www.omozua.com/ http://www.systemicneuroscience.com/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/omozuaisiramen/Support the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/titansot)

“An estimated 1 million workers are absent every day due to stress. The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work reported that over half of the 550 million working days lost annually in the U.S. from absenteeism are stress related and that one in five of all last minute no-shows are due to job stress”. https://www.stress.org/workplace-stress/ For too long many employers have treated employees like disposable assets. Keep turning up the demands until the employee burns out and quits (or is fired). Advertise the position knowing there was a huge surplus of underemployed, debt burdened, college graduates waiting for a chance to prove they know how to hustle hard. The good news is that employers that are still utilizing this strategy are entering troubled waters. In Episdoe 36: The People Revolution my guest Judd Borakove talked about the challenges companies are having in attracting and retaining top talent. While she has over 20 years experience as a working professional, five years ago a medically challenging period, illness and surgery left me on bedrest for two months straight. It wasn’t luxurious. It was excruciating. Laying in bed unable to move, she had to examine her life, her childhood, and her mother’s death at the age of 19. Not just what happened to her, but really understanding who she was. She had never before been forced to think, “Who is Omo?
