They were told: “Eat from the provision of your Lord, and be grateful to Him. Yours is a good land and a forgiving Lord.” ] - Surah Saba 34 (Sheba);Verse 16 [ But they turned away. So We sent against them a devastating flood, and replaced their orchards with two others producing bitter fruit, fruitless bushes, and a few sparse thorny trees. ] - Surah Saba 34 (Sheba);Verse 18 [ We had also placed between them and the cities We showered with blessings many small towns within sight of one another. And We set moderate travel distances in between, saying, “Travel between them by day and night safely.” But they said, “Our Lord! Make the distances of our journeys longer,” wronged themselves. So We made of them tales to be told, and dispersed them in total dispersion. Surely in this are lessons for whoever is steadfast, grateful. ] - Surah Ibrahim 14, verse 7 : [ And remember when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more. But if you are ungrateful, surely My punishment is severe.' ]

Surah Saba Ke Fazail - by Syed Sarfraz Shah
This episode discusses the Prophet Muhammad's (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) teachings that Allah is the one true God, and that none of the other things people ascribe to him can do any good or harm. He challenges people to produce divine knowledge or a book that predates the Qur'an, or to show him which of their partner gods have created a part of the Earth or have a share in the heavens. Ultimately, Prophet Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) teaches that Allah is the Almighty and All-Wise, and that any promises made by wrongdoers are just delusions. In conclusion, the episode emphasizes Allah's power and authority over all things, both in the heavens and on Earth. https://soundcloud.com/islamic-audio-book/sets The Prophet Muhammad (saas), who reminded his people that Allah was one God, also conveyed in various ways that none of the things which they ascribed as partners to Allah, would harm anyone or do any good. Some of the relevant verses are as follows: Say: “Pray if you will to those whom you deify besides Him. They cannot relieve your distress nor can they change it.” (Surat al-Isra', 56) Say: “Have you pondered on those you invoke besides Allah? Show me what part of the Earth they have created. Or do they have a share in the heavens? Produce a Book for me revealed before this one or some other shred of divine knowledge, if you are telling the truth.” (Surat al-Ahqaf, 4) Say: “Call on those whom you deify besides Allah. They have no power over even the smallest particle, either in the heavens or on Earth. They have no share in them. Nor has He any helpers among them.” (Surah Saba', 22) Say: “Show me those you have appointed to Him as associates. No indeed! Allah alone is the Almighty, the All-Wise.” (Surah Saba', 27) Say: “Have you seen your partner gods, those you call upon besides Allah? Show me what part of the Earth they have created, or do they have a share in the heavens?" Have We given them a Book whose Clear Signs they follow? No indeed! The wrongdoers promise each other nothing but delusion. (Surah Fatir, 40)
Narrated by Abu Hurairah: from Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2646, Book 41, Hadith 2 : The Virtue Of Seeking Knowledge [that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him."] As a rule of thumb, any hadith which contradicts the Qur'an should be considered null and void. Only the Qur'an is the absolute authentic text which has remained intact throughout. Al Qur'an is the word of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى and Hadiths are just for our reference. May we receive mercy from Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala and also receive guidance to gather sufficient supplies so that we are safe and comfortable in Mahsyar facing Allah SWT being entered into heaven by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala without reckoning and also punishment. Surah mentioned : - Surah Al Baqarah 2, verse 251 : (The Cow) [ So they routed them by Allah's leave and Daud (David) killed Jalut (Goliath), and Allah gave him (Daud) the kingdom (after the death of Talut and Samuel) and Al~Hikmah (prophethood), and taught him of that which He willed. ] - Surah Al Isra 17, verse 55 : (The Night Journey) [ …and to David We gave the Psalms. ] - Surah Saba 34, verse 10 - 11 : (Sheba) [ “And indeed We bestowed grace upon Daud from Us saying, ‘O' you mountains, Glorify Allah with him.' And you birds also. And We made the iron soft for him saying, ‘Make perfect coats of mail, and balance well the rings of chain armour, and work righteousness, truly I am All-Seer of what you do.”' ] Hadith mentioned : - Sahih al-Bukhari 5048 : Book 66, Hadith 72 Chapter: To recite the Qur'an in a charming voice Narrated by Abu Musa : That the Prophet Muhammad Sallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam said to him, "O Abu Musa! You have been given one of the mazamir (sweet melodious voices) of the family of Daud.'
The word “unseen” in the Qur'an means everything beyond one's perceptions and knowledge, everything concealed from the eyes. Knowledge of the unseen is Allah's alone. And Allah informs us that He grants this knowledge only to those He wills. The Prophet Muhammad (saas) stated that it was Allah alone Who knew the “unseen": Say: “Allah knows best how long they stayed. His are the secrets of the heavens and the Earth. How perfectly He sees, how well He hears! Man has no protector apart from Him. Nor does He share His rule with anyone.” (Surat al-Kahf, 26) Say: “No one in the heavens and on Earth knows the Unseen except Allah.” Men shall never be aware of when they will be raised to life. (Surat an-Naml, 65) Say: “My Lord hurls forth the Truth—the Knower of all unseen things.” (Surah Saba', 48)
As all other messengers, the Prophet Muhammad (saas),stated first and foremost that he did not ask for any recompense in return for his communicating Allah's message. He stated that he did everything to earn Allah's approval and that he awaited his reward from Allah alone. Some of the verses through which Allah commanded the Prophet Muhammad (saas) to tell people that he did not ask for any rewards from them are as follows: They were the ones whom Allah guided, so follow their guidance. Say, “I do not ask you for any recompense for this. It is simply a reminder to all mankind.” (Surat al-An'am, 90) Say: “I have not asked you for any recompense: Keep it for yourselves. My reward is the responsibility of Allah alone. He is the witness of all things.” (Surah Saba', 47) In another verse, on the other hand, the Prophet Muhammad(saas), who told his people that he did not expect any rewards, made his main goal clear, saying: "I do not ask you for any recompense for it—only let anyone who will, take the right path to his Lord.” (Surat al-Furqan, 57)

Surah Saba' (bahasa Arab:سورة سبأ) adalah surah ke-34 dalam al-Qur'an.
(34:1) All praise be to Allah to Whom belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all praise be to Him in the World to Come. He is Most Wise, All-Aware. (34:2) He knows what penetrates into the earth and what goes forth from it, what descends from the heaven and what ascends to it. He is the Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving. (34:3) The unbelievers say: “How come the Hour is not coming upon us!” Say to them: “Yes indeed, by my Lord, by Him Who fully knows the realm beyond the ken of perception, that the Hour shall inevitably come upon you.Nothing escapes Him, not even the smallest particle in the heavens or the earth; nor is anything smaller or bigger than that but is in a Manifest Book.” (34:4) (The Hour shall come) that He may reward those who believe and do righteous deeds. Theirs shall be forgiveness and a generous provision. (34:5) As for those who worked against Our Signs in order to frustrate them, they shall suffer a painful chastisement. (34:6) (O Prophet), those who have knowledge see clearly that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the Truth and directs to the Way of the Most Mighty, the Immensely Praiseworthy Lord. (34:7) The unbelievers say: “Shall we direct you to the man who tells you that when you have been utterly broken to pieces, you will be raised to life again? (34:8) Has he forged a lie against Allah, or is he afflicted with madness?” Nay, but those who do not believe in the Hereafter are doomed to be chastised and are far gone in error. (34:9) Do they not see how the heavens and the earth encompass them from the front and the rear? We could, if We so wished, cause the earth to swallow them or let fragments of the sky fall upon them. Verily there is a Sign in this for every servant (of Allah) who penitently turns to Him. (34:10) We bestowed Our favour upon David. (We commanded): “O mountains, sing Allah's praises with him”; (and so did We command) the birds. We softened the iron for him, (saying): (34:11) “Fashion coats of mail and measure their links with care and act righteously. I am watching over whatever you do.” ....

Surah Saba (34:53-54). The aakhirah is an extension of this world. What we do here is reflected in the next on a grander scale. In this lecture: Allah's eternal knowledge of everything; the parable of Saba; a wahy-based civilization; the resources accessible to Dawud (AS) and Sulaymaan (AS); Nur illuminates the structure of the cosmos; balad cross-references.
Surah Saba (34:48-53). Allah (S) grants knowledge to the Anbiyaa that other human beings do not have access to. In this lecture: definitions of al-ghayb; al-Haqq; kalimah insights; guidance and misguidance.
Surah Saba (34:42-47). The arguments of those opposed to Islam in any time are akin to the arguments of the Quraish against the Prophet (S). In this lecture: the super-rational nature of truth; standards in verifying the truth; the mission of a Nabi; the rights of Allah; proof of nubuwwah.
Surah Saba (34:38-42). When Muslims become Allah's servants in Ramadan, Allah reciprocates by expanding their rizq and gives them the best food. In this lecture: a formula to increase rizq; infaaq versus israaf; insights into tauheed and the theory of ownership and deputization; the devil promises poverty.
Surah Saba (34:32-37). The punishment for istikbaar (arrogance) is humiliation. In this lecture: implications of disbelief; the primary targets of wahy; the Quran as the source of truth; maal versus rizq; wealth and children; attributing prosperity to the Mun'im; an outlook of positivity and hamd.
Surah Saba (34:27-31). Victory and success transcend this world. In this lecture: a prophet for all peoples in all times and places; the hadith of shafa'a; a dual responsibility for Muslims; honest representation of both sides of the nabi: the bashir and the nadhir; insights into ethics of warfare; believing in the Ultimate Truth.
Surah Saba (34:22-26). Allah (S) owns and controls everything He has created. Shaykh Amin expounds on the relative insignificance of human capacity before the Divine. In this lecture: the insinuations of the devil; the need to speak up in the face of injustice; the Day of Judgment and insights into intercession; the purpose of religion; the shukr of Dawud (AS); true rizq; individual responsibility.
Surah Saba (34:16-21). The people of Saba were punished owing to their ingratitude for Allah's favors upon them. In this lecture: the kinds of dzulm, both open and subtle; ease of travel for the people of Saba; nourishment and security; comparing current events; if you care, you share; Allah's condemnation of Iblis; expanding our purpose in life to reject the devil; Al-Hafeedz.
Surah Saba (34:14-15). Allah gives knowledge to the extent He deems it sufficient. He withholds knowledge of the unseen for reasons He knows. Seeking knowledge from the ghayb is not from the sunnah. In this lecture: the bountiful land of Saba and its decline; the components of good living; insights into how Muslim psyche was shaped by these aayaat; rububiyyah and the role of the rabb in human development.
Surah Al-Ahzab (34:11-13). If you want to serve Allah (S) then you have to also serve Him through the actions that you perform, done out of shukr. In this lecture: a correct niyyah; service and hospitality with ihsan; Dawud and Sulayman (AS) as examples of grateful servants.
Surah Saba (34:9-11). The mindset of one who sees Allah as praiseworthy inclines towards a state of inaabah. Shaykh Amin keeps the theme of hamd central as he describes the gifts of Dawud (AS). In this lecture: Allah's innate praiseworthiness; gleaning positivity from the Qadr of Allah; insights into servanthood; the abilities of Dawud (AS); the prophetic ability to harness power creatively to represent Allah (S).
Surah Saba (34:3-8). True belief entails believing in Allah's ability to forgive you for your sins and Allah's ability to provide for you. In this lecture: God in the opinion of his servant; seeing the Nabi as a ni'mah, as more than 'just a human being; the hijab of man's arrogance; belief in the aakhirah clears the way; disbelief in accountability feeds into the adhaab of pessimism; two stories in this surah.
Surah Saba (34:1-3). An introduction to Surah Saba. Praise (hamd) for Allah (S) and His Rasul (S) pervades Quranic discourse and linguistics - both within the confines of time and space, and without. In this lecture: sabr and shukr arising out of hamd; an enduring and uncompromising optimism; weathering life in the light of Allah's Fadl; the Muslim's perception of good deeds; recognizing the Divine Nidzaam.
