In this episode, I’ve invited some old friends to share a table and discussing Experiences and Transactions in the Hospitality Industry. Both elements are essential to us in our day-to-day operations, but how do we find the synergy. In this conversation, we have likened pure transactions to being “Vanilla” and balancing the act of the two like in an “Opera”. # Titolo Artista/Gruppo Album 1 Om Shanti (feat. What lessons are learned after overcoming dependence on heroin? How do you rebuild your life after three decades of addiction? Theo Hill, host of the new WYPR podcast, “One Day at a Time: Recovery in Baltimore,” hopes that sharing his story and the stories of others can inspire someone else on that path.
Theo Hill drives a truck for a living. On the job, he often catches *Out of the Blocks *on his radio. One day, he got inspired to call us with an idea. He asked, “Would you guys would like to help me make a podcast of my own, a podcast about addiction and recovery?' Theo brings an interesting background to the table. He's been in recovery himself for 19 years now, after struggling with a heroin addiction for much of his life. Theo’s podcast idea has now come to fruition. He’s spent the past several months hosting candid, personal conversations about the lure of addiction, the toll it takes, and the strength required to overcome its grip. This week, we launch the first four episodes of his new podcast, One Day at a Time, in Recovery in Baltimore. We want to introduce you to Theo on this special episode of Out of the Blocks.
This is season four episode three with Jayda B — Jayda is a DJ, a manager for our friend and artist DUVV, and the US community manager for Amuse.io — the free music distribution company and record label that sponsored our debut "Not A Showcase" last month. Today’s episode features jazz, and a lot of it, from new comers to season vets with Theo Hill to Ray Angry. Jayda talks is through her years living in Tokyo with local DJ Shigge and his track “Hit The Ceiling.” We hear NY’s new soul stand out Cleo Reed as she links with Sporting Life on their “Shut It Down” and Australia’s JPL croons on his smooth single “Oxygen,” amongst much more! 01.
