A Course in Miracles is a modern spiritual masterpiece, often quoted by Eckhart Tolle, Marianne Williamson, and Wayne Dyer. It's a big book, 1200 pages. But what does it say? In this lively, discussion-based podcast, we created the fast and fun "Red Donut" method which continually evolves. It simplifies A Course in Miracles. Episode 29 is about falling in love under the ego spell, how that works out, and how we wake up. In essence, we make the mistake of looking to another person to complete us. The course teaches that we are already complete and need only remember this to awaken. What this means is, instead of looking to our loved one to make us feel whole, save, complete and perfect, we look to God, the eternal, the unchanging, the unchangeable, our true identity. The Holy Spirit coaches us on how to do this. In short, we learn to value most our relationship to God. Only then do all our other relationships (to people, things, circumstances) come into alignment.
What we might learn from the BP diaster. "Projection MAKES perception, and you CANNOT see beyond it.... God calls you and you do not hear, for you are preoccupied with your own voice." "...Projection makes perception; the world you see is what you GAVE it, nothing more than that. But, though it is no more than that, it is not less. Therefore, to you, it is important. It is the witness to your state of mind, the outside picture of an inward condition. As a man thinketh, so does he perceive. Therefore, seek not to change the world, but will to change your mind ABOUT the world. Perception is a RESULT, and not a cause. And that is why order of miracles is meaningless. Everything looked upon with vision is healed and holy. Nothing perceived without it means anything. And where there is no meaning, there is chaos. Damnation is your judgment on YOURSELF. And this you WILL project upon the world. See it as damned, and all you see is what you did to hurt the Son of God. If you behold disaster and catastrophe, you tried to crucify him. If you see holiness and hope, you joined the Will of God to set him free. There is no choice that lies between these two decisions. And you will see the witness to the choice you made, and learn from this to RECOGNIZE the one you made. The world you see but shows you how much joy YOU have allowed yourself to see in you, and to accept as YOURS. And, if this IS its meaning, then the power to GIVE it joy MUST lie WITHIN you."

This is our first video episode. We have more in the works. Did God make this world? The Course in Miracles says- no. The world is an illusion - and we are an expansion of God- there is only this. In this episode we will give you a hint of the nature of non-dualism. We will take a peek into illusory role time plays, and the fragile illusory nature of most of our thoughts. Don't worry if you don't fully grasp NON-DUALISM. At this point we simply raise to question the illusory nature of most of our thinking, and how it is based on past and future, which are NOT HERE. And if you are uneasy with the thought that God did not make this world, remember that these are just learning tools; in the end, the course is designed to prepare you for the experience of these things. Experience is our ultimate teacher. In the next episode, we will construct for you what we call the “Red Donut.” The Red Donut GRAPHICALLY shows what this Cloud that blocks the Sun is really made of.

Hello I'm Philip Urso. This is Episode 9, How to Perform Miracles, part 2 Today I am joined by Liz, Steve and Lisa. Is the course in miracles a course in Physical healing? The answer is yes, but that's not the point . In fact, if you make it the point, it won't work. Today we're working from the article, The 25 Principles of Healing by Robert Perry. This will be much easier to understand if you have heard one of the red donut sessions episode 1 and 5 both cover it. We start were we left off, on number 9 of the 25 points. So here we go
This is Episode 8, How to Perform Miracles. Today I am joined by Liz, Steve Lisa and Linda . Is the course in miracles a course in Physical healing? The answer is yes, but that's not the point . At about 19 minutes in, we start on number 1 of the 25 points. We make it through the first 8 and next week we will present the discussion on the last principles. Some donut news- we are now writing in blue, the word, Holy Spirit, across the border of the donut and god. Also when we discuss relationships and draw 2 donuts, in the center of both we write “I am experiencing.‿

In this episode we begin inquiry into how to be a miracle worker. Next week we will look list attributes of the healer or miracle worker. Before the discussion begins, I would like to acknowledge my teachers of the course, Ken Wapnick, Gary Renard and Jon Mundy. Often I find myself using their concepts in these pods and they deserve credit for their helpful ideas and metaphors. I'm pretty sure the idea of the movie came from Gary.

From the preview quotes you will hear first you may conclude that you are insane. Metaphysics is a big word- beyond physical. But it is all summed up by the title of this pod: Nothing real can be threatened. All spirituality is about understanding what is real and what is not. The Course maintains that everything that is not God does not exist. Luckily we are part of Gods mind BUT our bodies and this world are NOT. In fact, God did not make this world, but we DREAMED IT. It is called the dream of separation. It is a familiar creation story in that we like Lucifer, thought we could be God. But unlike many creation stories, the world, our body and everything that is not God is an illusion, just a dream. To the extent we believe in it, we suffer insanity. To the extent we realize it is not real and this body is not really me, we gain a sense of peace that is outside the limits of the dream of time and space. To this degree we wake up from the dream. And this is the essence al all spiritual teaching.
