Sermons from Colin Glen Christian Fellowship, in West Belfast.
A fellowship of believers invited in Christ and through the work of the Holy Spirit will be reorientated to live in devotion to Gods word, fellowship together, corporate worship and evanelism.
I believe, help my unbelief. We live by faith, and need to fuel our faith by prayer. By depending on Christ each moment, we live by faith. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/bKjfFomPNWM
Christ did not let his suffering define him. His glory was veiled, which was seen in the transfiguration, reflected his true identity. So too, we should live in the light of our glory to be revealed at our glorification, not letting our present difficulties define us. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/h6_nYYl2Kuk
When we rely on the wisdom of our sinful nature, we do not think or do the things of God. But when we set our minds on the Spirit, we then walk in the Spirit. Let not fallen thinking make us ashamed of the gospel, but let us stay close to the cross. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/eJYGoS1auvs
Faith in Christ opens our eyes. We gain more insight as we keep looking to Christ. We look forward to when we will see everything clearly when he returns. He alone can change our lives. To him be the glory. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/q8zIglzoT5Y
Lack of faith can lead us astray. Walk closely with the Lord, trusting when we don't understand. God is good, trust him. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/kZQGV4xj5ec
Because Christ has risen, and because there is resurrection from the dead, we have many reasons to persevere, knowing that all we do in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15 Watch: https://youtube.com/live/XtcD4mQdZ-4
Christ has the pre-eminence in all things. But more than that, they were all made for him, for his glory, even if they are also for our good. Let us praise and give glory to him, above all. Watch on youtube: https://youtube.com/live/hsBchYhEr6M
Many people had different reactions to Jesus. Some hailed him as Messiah, but later called for him to be crucified. But others wanted to see Jesus, and place their faith in him. But all who give up everything to follow him gain eternal life. Watch on youtube: https://youtube.com/live/AOg2z2UhkX0
Commissioning of Rachel Millican as Community Worker for Colin Glen Christian Fellowship No matter what situation we face, when we seek the Lord in humility and faith, we receive his help. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/Y6ROpF5SAME
Christ came into the world so that all could be saved. The gospel came through the nation of Israel, the Jews, but it was for all nations. Jesus shows that God's plan was always to reach all nations. The gospel has reached us - have we believed and placed our trust in Christ? Watch: https://youtube.com/live/1Q_nPs3IsHU
God called St. Patrick, while still a slave in Ireland, to trust in him and follow him, and have joy and peace in his heart. Patrick found that peace and joy. And years later, having escaped and been trained for ministry, Patrick heard God's call to return to Ireland, to take the gospel for others to hear and respond to that call too. And he is still calling people to turn to him, to trust in Jesus, and to know forgiveness, joy, hope and life, in his love and mercy to us. Watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uGvL8Oxmfg
David Moore encourages us to belong to God's community of church. Community and church were very important for the Celtic Church. It is where we belong as Christ's people, where we grow in community together in Christ, where we serve others too, and where we can impact the world with the gospel. In the second of three talks as part of the Patrick's Story campaign, John Duffy discusses from the writing of St. Patrick, and from God's Word, the Bible, what God is like. Patrick learned what God is like from the teaching of the Bible, and from his own practical experiences of him. In the end, Patrick saw his own story as being a part of God's story. Watch:
When we don't understand the things of God, let us draw nearer in our hearts to him, so that by faith we can understand him and his ways more. We draw close by faith in Christ Jesus. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/ljhIlsr158U
Jesus came with compassion for the lost. He also calls us to have compassion too, and to go where he leads and sends us. We ought to go, in faith and obedience, trusting him. As William Carey said, "Expect great things [for God], attempt great things [for God]". Watch on youtube: https://youtube.com/live/tKIt1-VbOLs
Everyone has a decision to make, about whether they are prepared to count the cost of following Jesus. But it's immeasurably more than worth it. Turn to him today, while we still have the opportunity and inclination. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/JgPXTlTMiDk

To live a blessed and good life, we need to give up being self-centred and sinful, looking to Jesus, to the cross, and to the new life he gives us in him. True life is knowing God, walking in the Spirit, loving God and loving others as ourselves. Let us follow Jesus, to God's glory. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/wlKmzjMsGqg

Jesus' birth was the hope of the nation. It represented their coming of age in receiving their Messiah. Jesus' birth also represents hope for each person too, because in him we can be free from sin and relate to God by grace instead of law. watch on youtube: https://youtube.com/live/t0hn1pW8YyA
Jesus, the God-man, had to be born as a human baby, to redeem us and save us. Such salvation becomes ours when we place our faith in him. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/iYMy7lZ9Lc4
To benefit from Christ's birth, we need to not just appreciate it, but appropriate it. We need to not just believe he took on flesh and suffered and died, but that he did it for me, for my sins, that I am forgiven, that I have new life and hope in him. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/P_qK75IZgqQ

The Sabbath is given for our good. And Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. Let us take delight in God on the Lord's Day. Most of all, let us be sure of entering into God's eternal rest for his people, through faith in Christ. Watch on youtube: https://youtube.com/live/B0xmy53XqDA
Fasting is not something to make us look pious, but to help us find satisfaction in drawing closer to Jesus.
People often think that they are good enough to deserve getting into heaven. Jesus teaches that everyone is a sinner, but we often don't realise it. We all need Jesus, to be righteous, and to receive eternal life as a gift. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/aGQATbiK9EY
Jesus is God, and is therefore authorised to forgive sins. Forgiveness comes by faith alone to all who turn to him, because of the cross. Edit: https://youtube.com/live/XXT9Y-JfF5A
We often turn to God for answers to prayer. And he often blesses us. But how often do we thank him? And how many people receive answers to prayer, but then ignore him? Jesus is compassionate on us, and wants us to receive a new relationship with God, through faith in him, most of all. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/k5y8AFxfg9Y

Jesus not only has authority over demons and illness, he has compassion for all who come to him. His greatest healing is for our souls, since he died on the cross that we could be reconciled with God the Father. All who trust in him receive new life, a new identity as God's children, and the assurance of eternal life to come. Turn to him now, in faith, if you have never done so before. No matter what situation we are in, we ought to pray to, or give praise to, God. We ought also to support those who are overwhelmed, and seek to bring back those who have wandered far from the Lord. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/0uoHX3v7D-8

We are not in control of our lives as much as we might think. We ought to make plans in accordance with God's will. Ultimately, we ought to expand our worldview so that it is not centred on us, but on loving neighbour and God too. We can do this through faith in Christ. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/KX3qI6-H1ZA

To be wise, we must resist temptation to sin from the world, the flesh and the devil. Wisdom from God is to be like Jesus. Key among its features is submissiveness to God's will. Watch: https://youtube.com/live/9dKQDZ2q7mg
