Colossians 2:16-23We continue our 'Christ Above All' series as we explore Paul's warning to the Colossians not to exchange the life-giving reality of Christ for empty rules, rituals, and philosophies. Drawing from Colossians 2:16–23, Out of the Shadows unpacks how religious laws and mystical experiences, though they may appear spiritual, are mere shadows compared to the substance found in Jesus. True freedom, growth, and maturity come not through rule-keeping or self-made religion, but through union with Christ and life within His body, the Church.
This week Mike continues our 'Christ Above All' series as he explores fullness in Christ. Paul describes believers as rooted in Christ, complete in Christ and alive in Christ in this passage and we will explore these as part of the fullness in Christ.
Jamie continues our Christ Above All series, as we continue in Colossians. Writing from a prison Paul's shares his deep pastoral desire for the church to rooted in hope in Christ & to present the church to God mature in Christ as he struggles on their behalf so that they would be strengthened in Christ.
Christ Above All - Paul's letter to the Colossians - Colossians 1:15-23.We continue our Christ Above All series. Paul writes to remind the church — and us — that Jesus is supreme over all creation, the head of the Church, and the fullness of God revealed to us. Throughout this letter, we will explore powerful themes of Christ's authority, the new life we are called to live in Him, the warning against empty philosophies, and the call to spiritual maturity. Together, we'll discover how a clear vision of Jesus at the centre of everything reshapes our faith, our relationships, and our daily lives.
Christ Centred Church - Colossians 1:1-14 Join us as we begin a brand new teaching series, Christ Above All, exploring Paul's powerful letter to the Colossians. In this opening message, we explore Paul's praise to God for their salvation, reflecting on our worship, and his prayer for them to live in a way that pleases God, reflecting on how we live before Him.
In this final message of our series, we journey with two disciples on the road to Emmaus and discover what it means to walk with Jesus. As the risen Christ draws near, hidden from their recognition, He unfolds the truth of Scripture and reveals Himself in the breaking of bread. This powerful encounter reminds us that faith is more than facts—it's a divine revelation. As we open the Word and gather at His table, our eyes are opened, our hearts are stirred, and we're reminded that Jesus walks with us still.
We started a new series titled 'From Darkness To Dawn' as we move towards Easter. We begin this series on Jesus last night with the disciples, as they share passover together. And explore the backdrop of passover that sets the scene for the events of Jesus death & resurrection that are about to happen.
Jamie concludes our 'delighting in God' series as he speaks on 'knowing the Holy Spirit.' We explore the role of the Holy Spirit in our relationship with God. That Holy Spirit is not just a force but a person— who comes to us and through whom we fellowship with God. And we explore His work as He continues the ministry and mission of Jesus.
Jamie explains from Scripture (especially Colossians 1:15-20) how Jesus is God and that all things were created by Him. We have been adopted into God's family (Galatians 4:4-7) and the Spirit of God in our hearts causes us to cry "Abba Father". Jesus understand us as explained in Hebrews 4:14-16.

Mike explains from Scripture how a better understanding of 'God the Father' can change us and uses the example of Saul (Paul) - see Galatians 1 v 13-14, Acts 8 v 1-3, Ephesians 4 v 4-6, Ephesians 1 v 3, Galatians 4 v 4-7, 1 Timothy 1 v 15-17.
We continue our 'Delighting in God' series as we explore the work of the Trinity, inseparably and in perfect unity. In salvation, the Father chooses and adopts us, the Son redeems and unites us to God, and the Spirit seals and empowers us. This is not just theology; it's the foundation of our relationship with God. Through Christ, we are invited into the fellowship of the Trinity. Understanding this transforms how we pray, worship, and live.
We continue our 'Delighting In God' series with "YHWH, God in Trinity" exploring the revelation of God as a Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jamie emphasises that God's nature as a Trinity is not a theological problem to solve but a reality to delight in, reflecting His eternal relational love and how understanding the Trinity shapes Christian worship, the gospel, discipleship, and daily life, calling believers to live in the fullness of their identity as people who bear the name of the True God.

We close our Ephesian series with spiritual warfare. Paul wants the church to recognise that we live in a world of spiritual warfare, which means life is hard. But he wants them to know how we are to live as believers united to God through Christ. That is what we explore today.
We continue with the theme of walking worthy as Paul now urges believers to submit to one another and how that works out in our relationships.
Jeremy Bontemps continues our series in Ephesians. And this week we continue with Paul's appeal to walk worthy as read Pauls appeal to not walk in fruitless ways, rather to bear fruit, but being filled with the Spirit.
As we continue to read through Ephesians 4, we continue to see the old way of life we are to take off and the new way of life we are to put on. As Paul continues to explain these, his urge to do this is so that we don't grieve God's Holy Spirit & that we are imitators of God.
As we continue to read through Ephesians, Paul insists more strongly that the believers leave behind their old way of life and put on the life we have in Christ. Paul paints two very different pictures an old way of life and a new one. And he urges believers to continued to be renewed in the new life they have been given.
Ephesians 4:1-6;Paul urges the church to live worthy of our calling in Christ and to do this together. In this message, Jamie explores Paul's appeal to do this by living honourably in our character with one another because of the oneness of the church.
Into All The Nations - Pentecost 2024 Reading Acts 1 & Acts 8, Jamie explores the call of both scripture and our Pentecostal DNA to be people who reach all nation with the Good News of Christ. And Jamie updates on his recent trip to Kenya.
Today, we read Paul's prayer for the church in Ephesus to experience the fullness of God through the power of the Spirit, Christ dwelling in them and the experience of God's love.
Jamie unpacks what Paul describes as God's mystery made known. The Gentiles being included in God's family was a plan hidden through the ages until Christ. Now, this mystery is known, and we live as the display of this mystery in the world.
We continue our series in Ephesians as Jamie explores the oneness and unity that exists in the church through Christ because we all have been reconciled to God. Because we share in one equal access. Because we belong to God as His family. And the challenge that it is for us is to live this.
