    Chrissy Shackelford is a writer for the Emmy award winning late night series Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Before that she was an actor/writer/producer for 30 episodes of the Disney+ series, The Big Fib hosted by Yvette Nicole Brown. From 2017-2019, she spent two seasons as a staff writer on the HBO late night series, Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas. While writing for the show she also appeared on-camera and in multiple voiceover spots. She began her comedy career in 2012, studying at The Second City in Chicago and ColdTowne Theater in Austin, TX. After relocating to New York City in 2014, she quickly went through the improv and sketch program at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater. At UCBT, she has been a cast member of Characters Welcome, and spent three years writing and performing for house sketch teams such as The Classic, Fantasy, and Attention Shoppers. Her solo character show, Diane Shangri-La Presents: Not Dry Yet, ran at UCBT Chelsea from 2016-2017. This is her second season with BoogieManja. She’s a comedian, bouffon, actor, model and adult human female. She’s performed at UCB, The PIT, Magnet Theatre, the Krane Theatre, The Tank, and random gay dive bars around town. She had a talk show simulcast to Facebook and Chaturbate where she got naked and interviewed a bunch of trans/non-binary people while high. It was called “How To Date A Trans Woman” and it was dope. She hosts a monthly open mic at for Trans/Non-Binary+ people called “Gender Experts Party” which is her baby and you should totally come to it even if you’re not trans, it’s at Metropolitan Bar second Tuesday of the month. He is the co-artistic director of Mass Transit Theater where he performs and facilities workshops in social/emotional literacy, racial equity, and conflict resolution. Joseph is also the founder and executive producer of Jomiray Productions, a digital media company which creates content to incite thoughtful joy on the internet. Joseph has toured internationally with several theatre companies but has begun a steady climb into film and television.
