Guys, we're back, and we brought some friends! Instead of comparing two shows, we joined forces with the hosts of another Buffy podcast, Boys Watching Buffy, to review a movie starring a Gilmore Girl: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. We chat all about the sometimes cringe, yet surprisingly emotional summer adventures of Carmen, Lena, Bridget, Tibby(!?), and their shared, dirty, pair of regular-looking, yet magical pants. Whether you've seen this movie or not, whether you liked it or didn't, we're pretty sure we can all agree that one dad really sucks. Enjoy!P.S. Our microphones missed us and are a little HOT in portions of the podcast. Sorry!Be sure to check out Boys Watching Buffy! Also get hyped for Étoile with us by watching this not super marketed trailer, and make sure you're subscribed to our YouTube channel for upcoming content! The show Stacey produces, Sketch Cram, is this Saturday night! On this episode of #LatinosOutLoud, #RachelLaLoca recaps her sketch comedy participation in the 20th Annual NY Comedy Festival. Sketch Cram, a show built in 24 hours, that went up at The #UprightCitizensBrigade Theatre and then the next day, the Morir Soñando show, live at The United Palace. She also recaps her presence on a panel for the #SecureTheBIgBag Summit at The Radio Hotel, also Uptown Manhattan. Rachel also sits and chats with the President and CEO of The United Way New York City, Grace Bonilla. In her role at UWNYC, Grace has championed the development of a Latine Studies Curriculum for New York City (NYC) schools. Latiné communities enrich the fabric of NYC, yet their narratives often remain sidelined. This gap leads to limited information making its way into K-12 curriculums, even though 40% of NYC's students identify as Latiné or Hispanic. By advocating for this curriculum, Grace ensures students receive an authentic understanding, affirming NYC's commitment to celebrating and educating its rich Latiné heritage. We did it! We watched and compared Joss and Amy's other two shows. They didn't have quite as much in common as Buffy and Gilmore, but they are both about ragtag groups of people who become each other's found family, led by reluctant heroes. Also both shows feature young, thin, petite girls who can do impressive stuff with their bodies. Oh, and Mitchum! We discuss what worked about the shows, what didn't, and where they maybe would have gone with more seasons. Plus we do an accidental ad for Gain detergent! We will be taking a little break, but please stay tuned for what's next! Here is that Honest Trailer for Firefly that we mentioned. Here is the Bunheads Farewell Dance. Here is the link for the Gilmore Girls Fan Fest weekend. Pretty sure there are still some tickets available. And come see Stacey's live show, Sketch Cram in New York on September 28th!Want more content? Sing up for our Patreon! Buffy S2 E20: "Go Fish"/Gilmore Girls S2 E20: "Help Wanted" Apparently it's okay to turn high school boys into fishy mutant murder creatures IF done in the name of school spirit. And if Russia's best scientists couldn't figure it out, surely a school nurse and a swim coach can handle the job. Turns out Angel hates fish, and Bryan knows a lot about loose skin. Meanwhile Luke has gone fishing (hopefully unrelated) to escape the aftermath of Jess's exodus, for which Rory is doing damage control. Dean takes this shockingly well. Lane discovers drums. Richard discovers Office Max, and Stacey discovers herself in a whole poopy mess.As mentioned at the top of the episode, here's the stunt car driver sketch we made for Sketch Cram.Don't forget to follow us on social media for more Buffy/Gilmore content as well as other comedy content.YouTube:Bryan & StaceyInstagram:@gilmoreslayer@bryanandstacey@BMofunny@staceykulowTikTok:@gilmoreslayerTwitter:@gilmoreslayer@bryanandstacey@BMofunny@staceykulowFacebook:Bryan & StaceyBuffy the Gilmore SlayerCheck out bryanandstacey.com to find out what else we've been up to, or email us at:bryanandstaceyreviews@gmail.comTheme song written and performed by Louie Aronowitz @louiearonowitz
Buffy S2 E16: "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered"/Gilmore Girls S2 E16: "There's the Rub" Apologies! Bryan's mic had a mystery issue in this episode. It gets a little crackly a few minutes in and stays that way throughout. We did our best to make it as tolerable as possible. Shouldn't be a problem in the future. We've already recorded the next episode without any issues, so who knows!? Anyway...Whether coerced by charm, food, or morally questionable magic, we got a lotta ladies thinking with their dicks this week. Every woman in Sunnydale suddenly falls in love with Xander, but he's NOT into it? What do you want, Xander!?!? Not surprising that Bryan really liked this episode as a boy fresh outta puberty. Surprise surprise, Lorelai and Emily are fighting! Lorelai solves the problem by doing the same exact thing that caused the fight. Meanwhile Rory struggles to keep her gentleman callers separate, and apparently Stacey likes when men fight over women. Also here are some links to this weekend's Sketch Cram show, as mentioned at the top of the episode. The show will be streaming live on Twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/thesquirrelnyc at this clickable YouTube link starting Saturday 3/13/21 at 11:59pm EST. It's a sketch show made all in ONE day, co-hosted by Stacey, featuring several sketches, one written by Stacey, and another produced by both of us!Don't forget to follow us on social for more Buffy/Gilmore content!Instagram:@gilmoreslayer@bryanandstacey@BMofunny@staceykulowTwitter:@gilmoreslayer@bryanandstacey@BMofunny@staceykulowFacebook:Bryan & StaceyBuffy the Gilmore SlayerTikTok:@gilmoreslayerYouTube:Bryan & StaceyCheck out bryanandstacey.com to find out what else we've been up to, or email us at:bryanandstaceyreviews@gmail.comTheme song written and performed by Louie Aronowitz @louiearonowitz

Special guest writer producer director comedian Gina Ippolito (Murphy Brown, Regular Show) joins us in the studio. After having smoked Black Cherry and Gushers in a Grape Twisted Hemp Wrap and Strawberry Cough in a King Palm, Collin explains the mysteries behind Gator Man and the Beast of Busco while we smoke Disneyland from a King Palm and Strawberry Cough from a King Palm. Collin kicks off a miniseries of cryptids with mysteries of Gator Man and the Beast of Busco. In 1973, residents of New Jersey began reporting sightings of a large humanoid alligator dubbed Gator Man. Though first spotted in 1898 by a farmer named Oscar Fulk, it wasn't until 1949 when Indiana residents began witnessing an enormous snapping turtle estimated to be over 500 pounds, they named the turtle the Beast of Busco or Oscar after the man who had originally spotted him. Though the story and multiple efforts to capture the turtle became a national sensation, no proof of its existence has ever been produced. You can follow Gina on Twitter @GinaIppy. The conclusion of Christian's sit-down with writer Tim Saccardo starts off by dipping into the ole Bladtcast mailbag with some comments from our friend Jason Blair. Christian also discusses the complete and utter lack of demand for the "original 120" episodes of the Bladtcast. They then discuss their time in the Wolf Films "Law & Order" trenches, then Tim traces his professional career from "Ten Items Or Less", to "Community", "Vice Principals" and the present day on "American Dad!" with specific attenton to writers' room etiquette, how asking for a script is like asking a girl to the prom, and how he became the Comedy Matador. There's also an industry-wide conversation about the pitfalls of transferring your series from television to an on-line platform. Finally, they discuss Tim's nearly decade-long involvement with "Sketch Cram" at Upright Citizen's Brigade LA.

(RIGHT CLICK THE IMAGE TO SAVE THIS EPISODE TO YOUR COMPUTER) Aired March 1/2, 1967 The Green Hornet arrives in Gotham City and looks like he's gunning for a piece of the action. But to Batman, muscling in on the trading stamp racket seems low-key for such a high profile gangster. And what does the foreman of the Pink Chip Stamp Company have to do with it? Is the Hornet the real evil in this plot or is it the unusual Colonel Gumm with his penchant for alphabet soup? Van Williams and Bruce Lee guest star in this episode as their respective characters, The Green Hornet and Kato, from their own ABC series in this crossover as an attempt to generate better ratings for the fledgling show.
