This Gemini Season is one in which its particular energy, encompassing information, communication, mental health, siblings and peers, and our sense of belonging, is jumping off with new tight boundaries and impulse. This can create some black and white scenarios—a need to draw a line and pick a side. As immature as dichotomous energy is, it can be a necessary aspect in the arc of a journey. It can help us to gain clarity of direction and a certain order needing to be established. We all have Gemini somewhere in our charts, making this a time to ask ourselves where we are drawing lines and stepping into a warrior identity. It's also a time to ask if there might be some grey tones that we have been unwilling to address. This Taurus Season we're navigating Eclipse Season with the North Node traversing Taurus. This is taking the degrees of Taurus through shadow work around how we were enculturated as children, inner child work, releasing baggage around body issues, and renegotiation around our inner agreement between how wild we are versus civilized. Issues in the world seem to be stemming around these things with Roe vs Wade being overturned and the Depp vs Heard pop culture showdown, revolving around claims of physical abuse. It can be a time to witness shadows, to allow old patterns to be seen and dissolved, and to heal what we see in old and complex issues of feeling truly connected to the pleasure of our senses and the earth—a birthright. Fresh passion and a revival of new direction and new impulse is possible here, especially as the sun crosses the north node on the 12th of May.

As we end 2020, a total solar eclipse on the south node asks us to step up, into our greatest visions in life, with a lot of trust in ourselves and in others. We face reorientations, pressures, and new tones unfolding as an historically challenging year comes to an end.

It’s already been a long and psychologically tough year as we arrive into the season of power and intensity, asking us to go even further into our psyches to face issues of empowerment.
