Most of you know the saying: "Where your treasure is, is where you are looking" - Basically, if you want to do something, you'll do it.... If you don't want to do it.... You won't.
If your doctor says you need to loose weight to stay healthy but you choose not to, then that is a need and not a want. You need to want to do something for it to become a need.
What should my weight loss be? Am I doing it right? Don't look at just your weight, but focus on the percentage lost.
I've worked with probably over a 1000 clients, generally most people have the same kind of failures when it comes to diet.

We'll all avoid something at some point in our lives.... In terms of fitness and training, I'll often get a client that a beer or ate something they shouldn't have and then they'll avoid me for a day or 2 especially when it's time ti weigh in. Your not a bad person or did anything terrible, but you do need accountability.
Everyone thinks that I'm Jaime and I'm always motivated and it all just comes easy.... Well it doesn't! :-)
Nobody is motivated every single day to do anything. You have to be pretty passionate, even as a careers, to keep going every day under any circumstance.
When you are setting yourself a goal, and most people who watch this it would be relating towards some form of a fitness goal, we look at some form a a smart goal. If you want to loose 5kg, how am I going to achieve this?
We are struggling during these (Lockdown) times we are going through. We still wake up, brush our teeth and get the day going because we have to. We might need to work late and we know we don't have to but we still do because we want to (or can).
From my experience a lot of clients don't reach their end goals as they set too many goals or goals are too big and we don't break our goals down to manageable or achievable goals.
So I'm known to always have a solution for everything and I want to try cover a few topics, specifically around training and how we always make excuses and how to rather create a solution.
Intermittent fasting is an eating pattern where you cycle between periods of eating and fasting. It does not say anything about which foods to eat, but rather when you should eat them. There are several different intermittent fasting methods, all of which split the day or week into eating periods and fasting periods.
How does your cycle effect you? I've tracked my cycle as a reference and just wanted to touch on a few things and how it effects your training.
A little rant about a few different things. I want to touch on a couple of things I get from people, friends, clients, etc which I feel is worth sharing.
We all have stresses - it's normal. If something is stressing you out but not me, that doesn't mean that it's not relevant. Our stresses effect all of us differently, and never play down some else's stress because you don't know how it's effecting them in whichever way or form.
Like the old saying goes, "If you fail to prepare, prepare to fail." We all have strength and weaknesses which means you need to have more self awareness. For instance, if you make bad food choices, then you have to address your diet and not set yourself up to fail. If you go home and there's no food set up, you haven't eaten during the day, no healthy snacks etc, when you get home and open the fridge and there's only bad food options, then you'll carry on eaten those foods because, 1 - your starving and 2 - those are the only options available. Start with smaller goals and work your way up, otherwise you could be setting yourself up for failure.
Non exercise activity still burns calories. Yes, you still burn calories even though you aren't exercising - if you have an active job, you burn calories, walking around during the day, you burn calories... Even a walk to the bathroom during the day is burning calories. This is the basic base of non exercise calorie burning.
I always get asked which diet is the correct diet - there are so many out. At the end of the day, the diet that works for you is the correct diet.
