More Bad Apples - 40th Anniversary Season 1 Episode 11 Truly, the January 30, 1976 episode of The Donny and Marie Show is amjam-packed and overstuffed episode. It is filled with good stuff, bad stuff and some really unexplainable stuff. This episode is so jam-packed and overstuffed, it includes a cameo appearance by none other than a Sleestak from LAND OF THE LOST. The good stuff includes some good music (Marie singing "I Cant Stop Loving You"; Donny singing "Rock Around The Clock"; Jimmy Osmond singing…whatever (we here at MORE BAD APPLES love Jimmy and he can sing whatever he wants, we will listen)); two (count 'em, two) separate occasions for Bob Hope to get off some of his jokes (which are so bad they are funny). The bad stuff includes too much Ted Knight singing; Marie singing that old chestnut "Feelings" which is a terrible, terrible song and would defeat any singer); some unfortunate comedy material for Donny & Marie. The unexplainable stuff includes too much Ted Knight singing; an incredibly surreal segment of the Ice Capade chicks ice skating with a basketball theme intercut with a montage of the Globetrotters playing basketball and it is all set to some incredibly funky song we here at MORE BAD APPLES don't know (but maybe our listeners will know); an uncomfortable segment where Ted Knight spends the segment hitting on Marie. Join us this week as we delve into one of the more enjoyable episodes of The Donny & Marie Show.

More Bad Apples - 1977 Halloween Special Season 1 Episode 8 Mark and Chris jump feet first into the 1977 Donny & Marie Halloween special!
More Bad Apples - Goin' Coconuts Season 1 Episode 7 There's only one immediate comparison: remember the eager anticipation, the excitement of the wait leading up to the release of STAR WARS, EPISODE 1: THE PHANTOM MENACE? And then the crushing disappointment, the almost-embarrassment you felt when you actually saw THE PHANTOM MENACE? The movie was so bad it made you question your love for everything that came before (even THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK); the hurt that was felt after seeing THE PHANTOM MENACE even made you wonder "Why the hell did I give a pass to those teddy bears in THE RETURN OF THE JEDI?"). So, now, it is with GOIN' COCONUTS. Join VHS Rewind as Chris & Mark express their shock and dismay (yes, shock & dismay!) at the results of Donny & Marie's one and only (!) foray in major motion pictures. On this episode of VHS Rewind, Chris & Mark will explain with utter sadness why GOIN' COCONUTS fails to rise to the level of even the worst Elvis Presley vehicle (its not even as good as HARUM SCARUM, and that's saying something), and also why the filmmakers behind GOIN' COCONUTS are not even as talented as those filmmakers responsible for even the worst porn film (the cinematography of GOIN' COCONUTS is not even as good as the cinematography in the Misty Mundae-starring LORD OF THE G-STRINGS and that's saying something!). We hope you will give a listen to this episode of VHS Rewind and, if you, dear listener, have seen GOIN' COCONUTS, we hope you will send us your opinions on the movie as VHS Rewind would love to hear from you all...
More Bad Apples - ABC Pilot - Marie Season 1 Episode 6 Marie Osmond stars in her own sitcom. It is sad this wasn't given a chance since at Mark found it worth a chuckle. Chris on the other was not so thrilled.
More Bad Apples - Marie Osmond's 18th Birthday! Season 1 Episode 5 She's Legal ! On this episode, we join Donny and Marie as Marie celebrates her 18th birthday with an all-star (?) party. Who wouldn't want to invite the Fish-man himself Abe Vigoda, Lola Falana (who?), and the Happy Days duo of Donny Most and Anson Williams to their party? Of course, the Osmond brothers are here at the party although, strangely, Jimmy apparently wasn't invited. Plus special birthday wishes come in from a host of other celebs, lots of song & dance and even some comedy. Its a better birthday party than your child's birthday party at Chuck E Cheeze. So grab some pizza, some apple juice, a party favor and join More Bad Apples in wishing Marie a very happy 18th birthday. She's Legal!

And what a resplendent episode it is, chock full of so many amazing bad apples. Your hosts Mark and Chris discuss all of the amazing (and, in Chris' case, mind blowing) highlights: the Osmond brothers presenting a trippy (and hilariously costumed) performance of the song "Gotta Get Love"; Donny does a karate workout (!) with Chuck Norris(!!!!); and so much more. Please give us a listen and share the bad apples with us. A special thank you to Dave Evans for not only the support but for providing a remarkable collection of Osmond classics to the public!
