Today marks more than just the Grand Opening of our South Auburn Location — it marks a reminder of why we exist. At New Hope, we're here to see lost people found, found people set free, and free people empowered to live out God's purpose. Pastor Adam walks us through the heart and mission of our church, reminding us that Jesus didn't just save us—He set us free to thrive, to love, to give, and to become all He created us to be. If you've been searching for direction, healing, or purpose, this message will speak directly to your heart. This is more than a church—it's a movement of freedom, transformation, and calling. Welcome home.
When Jesus returns, its not just the end of the world—it's the beginning of eternity. In the final part of our series, we explore the victorious return of Jesus, not just for His Bride, but with His Bride. From the fall of Babylon to the Millennial Reign, the final defeat of Satan, and the restoration of Eden, the story ends in joy for those who are in Christ. Every knee will bow and heaven will come to earth. Jesus didn't just save you from something—He's bringing you into something eternal. Now is the time to surrender, to live with purpose, and to prepare for restoration. When the King stands up, His return will change everything—forever.
The next time Jesus stands up, He will come back to take His people home. This message is not just about the future—it's about getting ready now. What you believe about the end will change how you live today. We'll talk about three big things: the promise that Jesus will come back, how we should live while we wait, and why it's important to tell others about Him. Jesus wants us to be ready. That means using the gifts He gave us, living in a way that shows His love, and helping others know Him too. We don't just wait—we get ready. When the King stands up, we want to be found faithful.
On that first Easter morning, the King of Kings didn't just rise from the grave—He stood up in victory, power, and love. This Easter message dives into what it means when Jesus stands: He stands to save, declaring salvation for all. He stands to defend, interceding as our Advocate. He stands to welcome, inviting us into eternal relationship. This is more than a resurrection story—it's a call to rise with Him. He stood for you. Will you rise to meet Him?
What does Jesus see when He looks around—when He looks at you? Through stories from Mark 11 and Mark 3, we discover that Jesus isn't just watching—He's searching hearts. He sees what we hide, the things we're ashamed of, and the walls we've built. And still, He invites us to come close. Maybe you've grown tired. Maybe pride or disappointment is in the way. This message is a reminder that Jesus sees it all, and yet still calls you into healing, freedom, and grace. Let Him look. Let Him speak. Let Him heal. Let Him in.
Jesus' look isn't about judging us—it's about love. He sees who we really are, calls us to let go of the things holding us back, and invites us to follow Him. The rich young ruler thought he was doing everything right, but when Jesus told him to give up his wealth and follow Him, he walked away sad. His problem wasn't money—it was trusting in his riches instead of God. True faith isn't just about what we do; it's about where our heart is. Peter's story shows how the people around us affect our faith. At first, he followed Jesus from a distance, then sat with those who doubted, and eventually denied knowing Jesus. If we surround ourselves with weak faith, it can weaken us too. But being around strong believers helps us grow. Even after Peter failed, Jesus looked at him with love. That look changed Peter's heart. No matter how many times we mess up, Jesus still calls us back to Him. God is always watching, searching for people who truly follow Him. When He looks at you, will you look back and say yes?
The look of Jesus searches and invites us to something more. He calls the hidden and into healing and the outsider into family.
In this message, we explore what it means to follow Jesus' orders. When the disciples obeyed His command to cast their net on the right side, they experienced unexpected provision. Jesus then invited them to share their blessing, dine with Him in fellowship, and commissioned Peter to feed His sheep. This powerful passage reminds us that obedience leads to blessing, purpose, and deeper intimacy with God. No matter where you are, His call remains the same: “Follow Me.”
Life doesn't always go the way we planned. Maybe you're waiting, working, and wondering if God even sees you. But the story of Ruth reminds us that God is always at work behind the scenes, orchestrating something better than we can imagine. In today's message, we explore Ruth's journey from brokenness to blessing, from waiting to walking in God's plan. We'll see how God's providence is always at play—even in the ordinary, even in the delays, even when we can't yet see the full picture. If you've ever wondered why things didn't go according to your plan, this message is for you. God is writing a greater story—one that leads to redemption, restoration, and rejoicing!
Life unfolds in chapters, and we often see someone's success without recognizing the struggles behind it. In Ruth 4, Ruth's journey from loss to redemption shows God's providence at work. Every hardship led her to Boaz, her kinsman-redeemer. But Boaz didn't just wait—he made a plan and took action. His story reminds us that faith isn't just hoping; it's preparing for what's next. Prayer shaped Ruth's story, from Naomi's blessings to Boaz's declarations of favor. These faith-filled prayers, combined with trust and wise choices, led to a new chapter. Like Ruth, we are not in our final chapter. When we trust God, make intentional decisions, and stay prayerful, we step into the better story He is writing for us.
What's your relationship status—with God? In Ruth's story, we see a pivotal moment where she and Boaz must define their relationship. Just like them, we all reach a point where we must decide—are we just talking, casually interested, or fully committed? Even if you don't get everything right, God can still make it right. This message challenges us to trust in God's timing, pursue relationships with integrity, and, most importantly, define where we stand with Jesus. Is He just a historical figure to you, or is He your Lord, Savior, and King?
How do you know if the person you're with is truly a keeper? The story of Ruth and Boaz reveals four key signs of a godly relationship. In this message, we explore the importance of seeking character, building genuine connection, showing consideration, and receiving confirmation from trusted voices. You don't just attract what you want—you attract what you are. If you desire a Christ-centered relationship, you need to pursue godly character and trust in God's plan. Whether you're dating, married, or waiting, this message will challenge and encourage you to honor God in your relationships.
Are you looking for love in a Christ-honoring way? The story of Ruth reveals God's wisdom for relationships, faith, and His providence. If you want something different, you need to do something different. Culture's approach to relationships is broken, but God's way leads to lasting love. Ruth's story highlights faithfulness, loyalty, hard work, and integrity—qualities that build a strong foundation. No matter your past, God can turn the page. If you feel stuck in Chapter 1, trust Him for Chapter 2. Don't miss this powerful message!

God has given us the ministry of reconciliation, calling us to bring others to Him. Sharing our faith isn't just important—it's essential. Common objections, like fearing disagreement or thinking evangelism is wrong, don't hold up when we consider eternity. Jesus sends us into the world, not to retreat but to engage. We're called to find receptive people—often those in transition, hardship, or crisis. When sharing, we should pray for people, invite them to experience God's power, and clearly proclaim the gospel. Every conversation counts—let's boldly share Jesus!
What does it mean to truly live your faith? In this powerful message we explore how our lives can reflect the Gospel through love, fruitfulness, light, and humility. Taking a look at how you can be fruitful when you are rooted in Jesus and the church family God puts you in.
Desperation can lead us to make rash decisions, but faith shows us the way to transformation. In 2 Kings 4:38-41, we see the sons of the prophets faced with an empty pot, a desperate act of gathering wild gourds, and a miraculous intervention that turned death into life. In this sermon, we'll learn how to move from emptiness and poor decisions to miraculous provision and restoration by putting our faith into action. When God is in the mix, no pot is too empty, and no situation is beyond His power to redeem!
On that first Christmas, every character in the story was searching for something. The shepherds searched for peace in their humble lives and found it in the angel's proclamation. The wise men searched the heavens for meaning and followed the star to the Savior. Mary and Joseph searched for shelter and discovered God's provision in a lowly manger. In this message, we'll explore how God met each of these seekers in their moment of need, guiding them to Jesus, the answer to their searching hearts. This Christmas, we are reminded that no matter what we are searching for—hope, joy, peace, or purpose—God has already provided the ultimate gift in His Son. Join us as we celebrate the miracle of Emmanuel: God with us.
In the chaos of life and the weight of mental health struggles, we often seek God in grand, miraculous signs. Yet, as Elijah discovered in 1 Kings 19:11-12, God often reveals Himself in the quiet whisper. This sermon explores the significance of listening for God's voice amidst the noise of anxiety, depression, and life's challenges. Learn how to find peace, purpose, and renewal in the stillness, trusting that God's gentle whisper holds the power to heal and guide us through our darkest moments.
The greatest battles we face are often fought within the battlefield of our minds. Using 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, we'll uncover how to use the weapons God has given us to win the war of our thoughts. We'll also draw wisdom from the story of King David, who faced moments of mental and spiritual warfare. From his triumph over Goliath to his struggles in the wilderness, David's life teaches us how to align our thoughts with God's truth, overcome fear and doubt, and claim victory through faith and obedience. Learn practical strategies to guard your mind, refocus on God's promises, and walk in the freedom and power He has called you to.
This series takes a look at how keeping a check on our mental health, specially during the holiday season, by keeping our eyes set on Jesus is important.
Every person faces a defining moment—a turning point that determines the direction of their lives and faith. In Matthew 16:13-17, Jesus asks His disciples the most important question: "Who do you say I am?" Peter's declaration, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God," marks a pivotal moment in understanding who Jesus truly is and what it means to follow Him. Our church is at a "turning point" - and if we want to follow God, we can't just stay where we are. In this message, Pastor Adam shares four lessons from this event that we can apply to our own turning point.
In Numbers 13 and 14, the Israelites stand on the edge of their promised land, facing a monumental decision: to move forward in faith or shrink back in fear. This journey to their inheritance is marked by four critical "faces" they must confront—the Face of Opposition, the Face of Temptation, the Face of Opportunity, and the Face of Commitment. Each of these challenges mirrors the spiritual choices we face when God calls us to step into His promises. Through the lens of their story, we'll see how we, too, can persevere against opposition, resist the temptation to give up, seize God-given opportunities, and remain fully committed to His purpose, regardless of the obstacles. Join us as we explore how to courageously "cross over" into the abundant life God has prepared.
In Mark 4, Jesus tells His disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” As they set sail, a fierce storm erupts, and the disciples, despite their proximity to Jesus, are overtaken by fear. This story captures the essence of life's journey—facing storms that test our faith, especially when God calls us to "cross over" into the unknown. In this sermon, we'll explore what it means to trust Jesus through every storm, embracing His presence and peace amid uncertainty. When we're willing to follow where He leads, even through turbulent waters, we discover a greater revelation of His power and a deepened faith. Are we willing to cross over, believing He's with us no matter the waves?
In this message, we're diving into the story of Jonah, a prophet who's often seen in a negative light because he ran from God's calling. But remember, Jonah is listed among the prophets, which means his story holds prophetic truth meant to guide and speak to us today. Today's focus isn't just on Jonah but on two unnamed instruments of God: the whale and the worm. Though they're animals without names, they played significant roles in delivering God's message, showcasing His power, and, surprisingly, God's love. This story challenges us to reflect on how God's justice and mercy are woven into His plans, even when they may seem at odds.
In this message, we explore Peter's miraculous escape from prison in Acts 12, highlighting the power of prayer, the struggle with doubt, and the call to steadfast faith as a good soldier of Christ. While the church earnestly prayed for Peter's release, they were shocked when God answered their prayers—showing how doubt can sometimes cloud our belief, even in the midst of our prayers. As soldiers of Christ, we are called to trust God's sovereignty, persevere in prayer, and stand firm in faith, even when circumstances seem impossible. This message encourages believers to align their hearts with God's will, staying vigilant, prayerful, and ready for His divine intervention.
This message explores the parable of the ten virgins from Matthew 25:1-13, focusing on the stark contrast between the five wise and five foolish virgins. The message emphasizes that we don't know the time of Christ's return, and we must stay spiritually alert and prepared, guarding our faith and devotion. Like the wise virgins, we must ensure we have enough "oil", so we are ready when the bridegroom comes.
Throughout the Bible, we see everyday people who, though nameless, played critical roles in God's plan by offering what they had, no matter how small or simple. The widow gave all she had, trusting God with her last two coins. The young boy with a few loaves and fish offered his lunch, which Jesus multiplied to feed thousands. And a man with a donkey gave what he had when the Lord had need of it, unknowingly setting the stage for Christ's triumphal entry. This message will explore the power of faith, generosity, and the willingness to serve, even when we feel what we have to offer seems insignificant. God honors the heart behind the gift, and each small act of obedience can have eternal significance. What do you have that the Lord can use?
Life's biggest challenges can feel overwhelming, but God's Word gives us a roadmap for victory. In this message, we'll explore how to respond when you're faced with a "big fat problem." The answer lies in three powerful responses: big bold prayer, where we come before God with confidence, knowing He hears and answers; patient persistent waiting, trusting in God's timing even when the answer isn't immediate; and enthusiastic energetic praise, which shifts our focus from the problem to the power of God, releasing faith and joy in the process. Together, these responses unlock God's breakthrough in your life!
In the book of acts, the Berean people were described as being more noble than others. What made them stand out? Unlike many, they sought truth by measuring everything against God's Word. This message emphasizes why we, like the Bereans, must be devoted to God's Word. The Bible is food for the soul, nourishing us spiritually; it reveals God's will, guiding us in every decision; and it gives us examples of godly living, inspiring us to walk in righteousness. In a world filled with conflicting opinions, we must stay rooted in Scripture to discern truth, live faithfully, and grow in spiritual wisdom.
There are many "unsung heroes" in the Bible, such as the four friends of the paralyzed man in Mark chapter 2. Through their example, we're reminded that when we come together in unity, combine our faith, and act courageously, miracles happen. This message will inspire us to be a church that prays, believes, and acts with the same determination.
Life often brings us to moments where there's a gap—a space between where we are and where we thought we'd be, or between what we hoped to achieve and what actually happened. This gap can fill us with disappointment, hurt, and confusion. But how do we deal with it? By looking at the life of Joseph, we find a man whose journey was filled with gaps—betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and imprisoned. Yet Joseph kept taking the next small step forward, trusting in God's plan, even when his reality seemed far from his dreams. This message encourages us to address the gaps in our own lives and keep moving forward, knowing that God can turn disappointment into destiny if we keep stepping in faith.
The story of Esther reveals that the battles we face in life are often more spiritual than we realize. When Esther and her people were confronted with the threat of destruction, their first response was not to rely on human strategies but to turn to prayer and fasting. This message highlights how Esther & Mordecai understood that the situation required more than just courage—it demanded spiritual intercession. By calling her people to pray and fast, Esther acknowledged that the real fight was in the spiritual realm, and only God could deliver them. Like Esther, we are reminded that when we face life's challenges, victory comes not by our strength alone, but by seeking God through spiritual disciplines.
In July of 1969, the Astronauts of Apollo 11 made history when Neil Armstrong became the first human to set foot on the moon. That "one small step" changed our world forever. We all are moonwalking… taking "one small step" someplace… towards something. What are you taking your next step towards? If it's not Jesus, you're going in the wrong direction! This message will help you understand what your next "small step" toward Jesus should be, and how you should take it.
In a world increasingly shaped by shifting cultures and values, Scripture warns us to stand firm and follow God, not the crowd. The end times are not just distant events—they are signals of urgency to be ready for Christ's return. This sermon explores the Biblical signs of the last days, emphasizing the importance of spiritual vigilance and discernment. We are called not to conform to the patterns of this world but to live in anticipation of the Kingdom to come. Let this message inspire you to align your life with God's eternal purpose, make the most of your time, and stand prepared for the glorious return of Jesus.
In Daniel Chapter 4, we witness King Nebuchadnezzar's journey from pride to humility, illustrating a profound truth about the human condition. This message will examine what happens when we think we know the right way better than God and become too comfortable relying on our own understanding - that's the Babylonian Lie. In contrast to the Babylonian Lie, the truth of the Kingdom of God, is that His will prevails. True peace and sanity are restored when we surrender our right to choose everything and instead submit fully to His divine guidance.
In a world where faith is often tested and compromise is a common temptation, the stories of Daniel and his friends offer powerful lessons in standing firm amidst cultural pressures. This sermon explores two pivotal moments from the Book of Daniel: the fiery furnace in Chapter 3 and the lion's den in Chapter 6. In this message we learn how we, too, can stand firm in our faith, make a difference, and trust in God's unwavering presence in a culture that is constantly shifting away from Him.
In this message we look at Daniel chapter 2. This chapter presents a powerful narrative of King Nebuchadnezzar's troubling dream and the inability of his wise men to provide an interpretation. It is in this moment of crisis that Daniel's exceptional qualities shine through—his deep connection with God, his wisdom, and his unshakeable courage. We will explore how Daniel sought God's mercy through prayer and received divine revelation, allowing him to interpret the king's dream accurately. This not only saved his life and the lives of his friends but also showcased the supremacy of God's wisdom over human understanding. Through Daniel's example, we will learn about the importance of trusting God, the power of divine revelation, and the impact of unwavering faith.
In a world where societal values and norms are constantly evolving, how do we remain steadfast in our faith and make a positive impact? This message continues our look into the life of Daniel, a young man who stood firm in his beliefs despite the immense pressure to conform to a culture that was increasingly hostile to God.
In a world increasingly shifting away from godly principles, how can we remain steadfast in our faith and make a meaningful impact? In this message, we will begin exploring the life of Daniel, a man of exceptional qualities who never compromised his beliefs, despite immense pressure. We'll uncover how his unwavering trust in God, his commitment to prayer, and his integrity enabled him to influence a culture that had turned away from God. Through Daniel's story, we will learn practical lessons on living out our faith boldly and making a difference in our own time.
Our neighbors, Jesus teaches, are not just those we naturally get along with, but also those who have wronged us, those who challenge us, and even those we might consider our adversaries. We'll explore what it truly means to love our enemies, as Jesus commands, and how this love is expressed through forgiveness and compassion. This includes forgiving the colleague who undermines us, the neighbor who annoys us, or the boss who treats us unfairly. Jesus' teachings push us beyond our comfort zones, challenging us to reflect God's unconditional love and mercy in our daily interactions.
In this message, we explore one of the most well-known but little-understood stories told by Jesus – the story of the Good Samaritan. Join us as we take a deeper look at this story that not only highlights the essence of loving our neighbor but also challenges us to redefine who our neighbor is.
Jesus tells us that the greatest commandment is a two-for-one deal: Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. These two commandments are inseparably linked, forming the foundation of our faith and daily walk. But what does it look like to "love our neighbor"? Join us as we explore how our relationship with God is reflected in how we treat those around us—family, friends, strangers, and even those we find difficult to love.
We often hear about the prophet Elijah's triumphant moments—his bold stand against the prophets of Baal, his prayers bringing rain after a prolonged drought. But in 1 Kings 19, we find Elijah at a low point, fearing for his life because of a threat from Queen Jezebel. Despite all the ways God had shown up for him, Elijah loses his courage and flees into the wilderness. Today, we'll explore how even the most faithful servants of God can face burnout and despair, and how God's response to Elijah's plight can teach us about divine care and restoration.
In this sermon, we will explore the life of the Apostle Paul, a man who faced severe and ongoing trauma throughout his ministry. Beaten, imprisoned, and persecuted, Paul's experiences were nothing short of harrowing. Yet, through his letters and actions, Paul provides us with profound insights into how to cope with and overcome deep-seated trauma. We will delve into Paul's methods of dealing with his suffering, drawing directly from the Bible to understand his resilience and unwavering faith and how he was able to find healing even in the midst of his struggles.
This message looks at the story of Naomi, a mother whose life was once consumed by anxiety and bitterness. Through the twists and turns of her journey, Naomi experienced the depths of despair, yet she emerged with a newfound faith and assurance in God's providence. Through her story, we'll uncover timeless truths about the transformative power of faith in God's promises. We'll learn how even in our darkest moments, God is at work, weaving together a beautiful tapestry of redemption and restoration.
Worry is something we all deal with, and the Bible has a lot to say about it. In this message, Pastor Adam examines Matthew 6:25, where Jesus speaks directly to our worries. We'll explore what Jesus has to say about worry and see what it really means to trust God.
In a world filled with stress, anxiety, and uncertainty, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and disconnected from the peace that God promises. Many people struggle silently, feeling isolated and alone in their battles. But here's the truth: the Bible is not silent on the matter. In fact, it is brimming with examples of individuals who wrestled with these very things. This message focuses on one such figure from Scripture: the prophet Jeremiah. Jeremiah's life was a testament to the human experience of emotional turmoil and mental anguish. Jeremiah's journey from despair to hope serves as a beacon of light for all who find themselves longing for God's peace.
