The prophet Daniel receives an epic account of the future from a terrifying angel. Detailed predictions spanning centuries of Near Eastern history pour from the angel's mouth, and incredibly, almost every one of these can be mapped against real historical events. If true, these are some of the most incredible prophecies ever recorded.Written and produced by Chas BayfieldMusic by Michael Auld and Jon Hawkins MusicCover art by Lisa GoffE: contact@whollybuyable.comX: Wholly Buyable Podcast

Now an old man, the prophet Daniel is blindsided by a terrifying angelic visitor as he stands by a Persian river. The angel delivers a bewildering message that maps geopolitical developments in the Ancient Near East. If the message was indeed given to Daniel in the sixth century BC, it contains some of the most accurate prophecy ever recorded. Futurology nerds have been trying to figure out the math for two and a half millennia, some with tragic results.Written and produced by Chas BayfieldMusic by Michael Auld and Jon Hawkins MusicCover art by Lisa GoffE: contact@whollybuyable.comX: Wholly Buyable Podcast

14th June 2026 - Wrapping up our series in the book of Daniel.
When Babylon's tyrannical king, Nebuchadnezzar erects a giant golden effigy and expects everyone in his kingdom to worship it, there is pushback, especially from Daniel's companions from Judah, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednigo. Threatened by death in a furnace if they do not bow down to the golden god, the men have a difficult choice to make: compromise their faith, or die horribly.Written and produced by Chas BayfieldMusic by Michael Auld and Jon Hawkins MusicCover art by Lisa GoffE: contact@whollybuyable.comX: Wholly Buyable Podcast

In this second episode on Daniel, Nate Shannon and Ian Duguid turn to the book's apocalyptic visions, exploring how they reshape our understanding of history, suffering, and God's ultimate purposes. Far from offering speculative timelines, Daniel's visions reveal a world marked by escalating opposition to God's people, yet firmly under the sovereign rule of the Ancient of Days. In the midst of confusion, fear, and unanswered questions, the message is clear: the kingdom belongs to the Son of Man, and faithfulness, however costly, will not be in vain. This message from Daniel 10 reminds us that there is a spiritual battle taking place that we cannot always see, but we are not alone in it. Through Daniel's example of prayer, fasting, and faithfulness, we are encouraged to slow down, seek God, and trust that He is working even when we do not yet see the answer. When Daniel found himself in a season of mourning, confusion, and waiting, he did not rush to fix the problem in his own strength. Instead, he humbled himself before God and sought Him through prayer and fasting. This passage reminds us that our battles are not only physical or emotional, but spiritual. Because of that, we need spiritual weapons. No matter what battle you may be facing, this message is a reminder that God hears, God sees, and God is working. Even when the answer feels delayed, His presence is near, His power is greater, and His victory is secure.

In this message from Daniel 9, Pastor Dean walks through one of the most debated passages in Scripture: Daniel's seventy weeks. As Daniel prays for repentance and restoration, Gabriel reveals a prophetic timeline that ultimately points us to Jesus, the new covenant, and the finished work of the cross. This teaching explores Daniel's prayer, the exile in Babylon, the rebuilding of Jerusalem, the end of the sacrificial system, and why everything in Scripture points to Jesus. Pastor Dean also challenges us to let the Bible shape our understanding of culture, politics, suffering, and the end times, not movies, social media, or popular opinion.Whether you have studied Daniel for years or are hearing this passage for the first time, this message will encourage you to read God's Word carefully, trust what it says, and live in obedience to Jesus.
