14th June 2026 - Wrapping up our series in the book of Daniel.
When Babylon's tyrannical king, Nebuchadnezzar erects a giant golden effigy and expects everyone in his kingdom to worship it, there is pushback, especially from Daniel's companions from Judah, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednigo. Threatened by death in a furnace if they do not bow down to the golden god, the men have a difficult choice to make: compromise their faith, or die horribly.Written and produced by Chas BayfieldMusic by Michael Auld and Jon Hawkins MusicCover art by Lisa GoffE: contact@whollybuyable.comX: Wholly Buyable Podcast

In this two-part series, Levi Hazen leads us through Daniel chapters 2 & 7. These are companion chapters that reveal the order of successive empires before God sets up His kingdom on earth.
Samuel Goulet teaches from Daniel 1, showing how believers can live for Christ without compromise in a world that constantly pressures them to conform. Through Daniel's example, this episode calls listeners to stay rooted in their identity in Christ, reject the values of the world, and walk in holiness, wisdom, and courage. It's a powerful reminder that following Christ faithfully means standing firm in His truth while still living with love and honor toward others.

31st May 2026 - Exiles can endure suffering with hope because the beasts are temporary, but the kingdom of the Son of Man is eternal.

In this second episode on Daniel, Nate Shannon and Ian Duguid turn to the book's apocalyptic visions, exploring how they reshape our understanding of history, suffering, and God's ultimate purposes. Far from offering speculative timelines, Daniel's visions reveal a world marked by escalating opposition to God's people, yet firmly under the sovereign rule of the Ancient of Days. In the midst of confusion, fear, and unanswered questions, the message is clear: the kingdom belongs to the Son of Man, and faithfulness, however costly, will not be in vain. This message from Daniel 10 reminds us that there is a spiritual battle taking place that we cannot always see, but we are not alone in it. Through Daniel's example of prayer, fasting, and faithfulness, we are encouraged to slow down, seek God, and trust that He is working even when we do not yet see the answer. When Daniel found himself in a season of mourning, confusion, and waiting, he did not rush to fix the problem in his own strength. Instead, he humbled himself before God and sought Him through prayer and fasting. This passage reminds us that our battles are not only physical or emotional, but spiritual. Because of that, we need spiritual weapons. No matter what battle you may be facing, this message is a reminder that God hears, God sees, and God is working. Even when the answer feels delayed, His presence is near, His power is greater, and His victory is secure.

In this message from Daniel 9, Pastor Dean walks through one of the most debated passages in Scripture: Daniel's seventy weeks. As Daniel prays for repentance and restoration, Gabriel reveals a prophetic timeline that ultimately points us to Jesus, the new covenant, and the finished work of the cross. This teaching explores Daniel's prayer, the exile in Babylon, the rebuilding of Jerusalem, the end of the sacrificial system, and why everything in Scripture points to Jesus. Pastor Dean also challenges us to let the Bible shape our understanding of culture, politics, suffering, and the end times, not movies, social media, or popular opinion.Whether you have studied Daniel for years or are hearing this passage for the first time, this message will encourage you to read God's Word carefully, trust what it says, and live in obedience to Jesus.

What happens when you truly trust God with your future? In this message from Daniel 8, we are reminded that God has always been in control. Kingdoms rise and fall, culture changes, and the world feels uncertain, but none of it surprises Him.Daniel received visions of things far beyond his understanding, yet his response was simple: he got up and went about the king's business. That same challenge is for us today. Instead of living consumed by fear, anxiety, and uncertainty, we can live with confidence because Jesus has already secured the victory. If God was faithful then, He is still faithful now.

What does it look like to live faithfully in a chaotic world? In this message, we walk through Daniel 6 and 7, covering the story of Daniel in the lion's den and the vision that reveals God's plan for the future.Daniel was not a young man when he faced the lions. He was older and still faithful. Even under pressure, he refused to hide his relationship with God. His life shows us that faith is not meant to be private. It is meant to be lived out where others can see it.We also explore Daniel's vision in chapter 7, where kingdoms rise and fall, but one truth remains clear. God is still on the throne, His kingdom will never end, and everything points to Jesus.Key Takeaways:- Faithfulness matters- Your witness impacts others- God is in control even when the world feels chaotic- Following Jesus involves pressure, not comfort- Jesus is King and His kingdom will not be destroyedIf this message challenged or encouraged you, be sure to like, subscribe, and share it with someone who needs it.If you are new, we would love to connect with you. What happens when you know the truth but choose to ignore it?In this message from Daniel 5, we walk through the story of King Belshazzar and the moment known as the handwriting on the wall. This is not just history. It is a warning about pride, about treating what is holy as common, and about what happens when we reject what we already know is true.Belshazzar had seen what God did in the life of Nebuchadnezzar. He knew the truth. Instead of humbling himself, he chose pride, and it cost him everything. This message challenges us to ask a direct question. Are we living like Daniel or like Belshazzar? In this message, you will learn:- Why knowing God is not the same as following God- The danger of pride and informed rebellion- What it means to treat holy things with honor- How God's patience works and where the limit is- How this story applies to our lives todayGod's Word always comes to pass. The question is how you will respond.
