One Beat Christian Ministries (OBCM) Podcast on Services and Ministry Activities
We're excited to begin our June series entitled “Distracted” — a timely exploration of the things that quietly pull our hearts, minds, and devotion away from God. In a culture overflowing with noise and constant demands for our attention, how do we remain spiritually focused? This Sunday's message: “SPOTlight”Every life shines a spotlight on something — a pursuit, a passion, a person. But what happens when the spotlight shifts away from the One who deserves it most? Join us as we reflect on what or who has been occupying center stage in our lives, and how we can return our focus to what truly matters.Make plans to be with us this Sunday as we set the tone for a month of realignment, spiritual clarity, and intentional living.#Distracted#SPOTlight#ReFocus#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! Life can feel like driving through fog—we see the struggles but miss the bigger picture. School stress, family issues, job pressure, or future uncertainty can make us feel stuck, focused only on what's right in front of us. But when God gives us spiritual vision, it's like turning on headlights—suddenly, we see new horizons, fresh hope, and Jesus walking with us. The Bible shows that real vision means seeing beyond the visible and trusting God to lead. So here's the question: Have you been relying on your own sight? Today, let's start asking God for His vision.#NewHorizons#VisionInsight#OBCM@7#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! 7 years! Lord, thank You for 7 years! We are standing at the threshold of something new, something beautiful, and something significant.Seven years ago, this church began with nothing but a promise from God and a people who dared to believe. There were no grand buildings, no big budgets—but there was vision. There was faith. There was obedience to the call.We started in a small chapel with just a handful of people who carried a fire in their hearts and a dream that looked bigger than them. From rented spaces to packed rooms...From quiet worship to joyful praise...God walked with us through every season.Since then, we have seen mountains moved and miracles unfold.Ministries were birthed.Leaders were raised.Souls were saved. The fire kept burning. We served beyond our walls— Feeding the hungry, clothing the needy, loving the broken. We became a light in the community. We've faced storms, losses, transitions—but we never stopped. We've cried together. We've rejoiced together. We've served, sacrificed, and stood. And here we are—7 years later, still burning with the same fire, still believing for more. Because the God who called us, carried us.And He has never failed. And now… God is calling us for something greater. For His glory, He is calling us into New Horizons.#NewHorizons#God'sUltimateWayofSavingHisPeople#See!GodisDoingANewThing#OBCM@7#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! New Horizons require a new mindset.New levels require deeper roots.New beginnings require a fresh surrender.Just like the Israelites, many of us stand at the edge of a breakthrough. A new season. A new opportunity. A new horizon. But before we go forward, God says: “Get set.”Before you launch, you must lock in. Before you conquer, you mist be conditioned. Before you go, Get Set!God will lead you into what is already prepared for you.#NewHorizons#BeforeYouGoGetSet#GetSetGO#OBCM@7#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! Have you ever done or given something and did not receive a “thank you!”?In our scripture today, we learned about Jesus' healing of the ten men with leprosy. Here, we saw that out of the ten, only one came back to thank Jesus for what he has done. Let us all listen in order for us to learn more about “That thing called PASASALAMAT.” Don't just receive the blessing. Return to the Blesser. Don't just seek miracles. Seek the miracle worker. Don't just be healed. Be whole. #Thanksgiving#ThatThingCalledPASASALAMAT#ThankGodAlways#ResurrectionSunday#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! Life doesn't always sound like a worship song. Some days come across more like a messy mix—off-key notes, missed beats, and long, uncomfortable pauses. But if you could take a step back and view your life from heaven's angle, you'd start to hear something different: a symphony.Because God is the Master Composer.Every season—whether filled with joy or sorrow, rushing or waiting—fits perfectly within His rhythm. Every delay carries intention. Every silence speaks with meaning. Every “not yet” is setting the stage for something beautiful. Ecclesiastes 3, our scripture this Sunday, doesn't promise us control over time. It gives us something better: peace within time. It invites us to trust the tempo, even when we can't trace the tune. It invites us to trust the tempo, even when the melody feels unfamiliar. So, wherever you find yourself today—in a time of waiting, weeping, building, breaking, laughing, or letting go—know this: you're not off-track. You're right on beat. You're moving with the rhythm of a God who sees the whole song. You're dancing to a divine rhythm, even when you can't quite hear it yet.And in the right time—He will make it beautiful. #NewHorizons#DivineRhythms#HeWillMakeThingsBeautifulinHisTime#GodtheMasterComposer#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! Every day, there is a battle within all of us – the battle between the flesh and the Spirit. But we do not fight these battles alone – God is with us. And walking in the Spirit allows us to walk in victory. Victory in the war within us is not about trying harder but walking closely with the Spirit and surrendering our all to God. As we listen to today's message, may we acknowledge that we are not strong enough to win the war within. Surrender to God and win the war! #SetFree#TheWarWithin#WalkintheSpirit#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! In Christ, we are free. We were once slaves to sin but through God's perfect timing and the work of Jesus, we are now adopted into God's family. Do you want to experience the freedom of being taken into God's family? - Place your faith in Jesus. Have you already placed your faith in Jesus? - Then, let us live boldly and confidently in our identity as sons and daughters of God. Our prayer is that at the end of this sermon, you can already boldly say “I am a child of God!” #SetFree#OneTwoFree#NoLOngerSlaves#IAmAChildofGod#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! We are continuing our series on the book of Galatians with the sermon entitled “Grace from Start to Finish' – emphasizing that there is nothing else needed for salvation but grace alone. So, if you are ever tempted to think that salvation depends on your good deeds or how well you follow the rules, remember this: God's gift of grace is a free gift. You don't have to pay for it and you don't have to earn it. It is a gift that, once receive, changes your life forever. “The Gospel is news of what God has done to reach us. It is not advice about what we must do to reach God.” Timothy KellerWe apologize for the audio of the upload today - we have encountered a technical problem in our recording. Jesus calls us to die to our old nature, our selfishness, and our sinfulness so that we can be transformed into something new – a new creation in Him. “The Day I Died” – highlights the reality of what it means to die to self. It's not a literal physical death, but a spiritual death to our old ways of thinking, our selfish desires, and our sinful nature. As we reflect on the message of dying to self, let's ask ourselves: Are we willing to let go of our old selves and embrace the new life that Christ offers? Are we ready to undergo the transformation He has in store for us, trusting that through His death, we can have new life? #SetFree#TheDayIDied#ToLiveisChristToDieIsGain#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! Today, we are blessed to be hearing about missions through our guest speaker, Dr. Hyeok Seon Kwon. Our Scripture today, Matthew 25:14-30, also known as the Parable of the Talents, tells the story of a master who gives his servants different amounts of money or “talents”, trusting them to put it to good use while he's away. This story speaks to us about missions by reminding us that we each have unique gifts and abilities from God, and it's our responsibility to use them to spread the Gospel and serve others. It challenges us to do our best with what we have – with the talents God has given us. We are all given varying amounts of talents, but note that it doesn't matter how many talents we have. All of us should make use of what we have been given to further the mission of Christ. What are your talents? Will you use them for God today? #MissionsSunday#MissionsAndTalents#Doyourbest#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! As we listen to today's service entitled, Jesus Plus None, may we come to realize and accept that true freedom only comes from knowing Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. Paul reminds the Galatians that there is no other way to salvation, only through Jesus alone – no needed addition. There is nothing else we need – only Jesus. We are also reminded to be careful about what we listen to because there is only one Gospel. The Gospel begins, is centered and ends with Jesus. May we be able to answer this questions to ask as we approach the beginning of March: Do I have a relationship with God?How is my relationship with God?Am I truly free? Have a grace-filled week ahead! #SetFree#JesusPlusNone#SalvationbyGraceAlonebyFaithAloneInChristAlone#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! We conclude our Life in CommUNITY series with a sermon entitled WalkINg Fellowhsip” –rather Walking IN Fellowship. Life in community starts and ends with our walk with God. We ask ourselves, how is my walk with God? How is my fellowship with Him? Can I have a private relationship with God and exclude others? Can I love like Jesus? We can only love like Jesus if we walk in fellowship with Him first. Have you taken a walk with God lately? #LifeinCommunity#WalkINgFellowship#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! “Whenever, wherever. You don't have to go far – you can love (disciple) where you are.” F.F. Feliciano This Sunday, we dig deeper into the Parable of the Good Samaritan. Here we see a conversation between Jesus and an expert of the law regarding how to inherit eternal life. Jesus' answer included this parable teaching that we can't inherit eternal life by doing good works but only by God's grace through Christ Jesus alone. Because God had ben gracious and merciful to us, we are also to show grace and mercy towards others. As we listen to today's sermon, the question to answer is not “Who is my neighbor?' but rather “Will I be a neighbor to someone today?” John 13:34 says, “A new command I give you; Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”#LifeinCommunity#NEIGHBORwhoD#WillIBeANeighbortoSomeoneToday?#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! Why was the early church so attractive? The people saw something in the church that people were drawn to it. But what did the early church do? TOGETHER they devoted themselves to the Apostles' teaching, fellowship, breaking of the bread and prayer. They even sold what they what they had and gave it to the needy. They did life together. May we learn from the model that we see in Acts 2. “The Church is not the building; it is the people. It is not just the gathering; it is also the scattering.” John Wimber #LifeinCommunity#Room4More#WorshipWalkWorkTogether#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! February is here and we have a new series – Life in Community. This month, we will get to see the deeper meaning of “koinonia” – a Greek word whose primary meaning is “fellowship, sharing in common, communion”. God has designed us to thrive in a “koinonia” – a community that is centered around the love of Christ. Our scripture today points back to the importance of belonging in a community. The writer reminds us that we are not meant to journey alone. The author had used “LET US” a lot of times in these verses giving emphasis to being together in faith as the church of God. May our hearts and minds be open to what the Lord has for us today. LET US desire to grow deeper in our relationship with God and with others. #LifeinCommunity #SocialUndistancing #LetUs #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! We are so blessed to hear God's word today through our guest speaker, Pastor Scott Harris, all the way from Northshore Christian Church, Everett Washington. This Sunday, we delved deeper into God's word in the book of John where Jesus shared His last words – His prayer – for the disciples and for us. Jesus highlighted the importance of being united in Him. Our unity is a very powerful witness and evidence of God's love. Unity is not just about the other people; it is about us taking the initiative and desiring to follow God's call to be in one accord. It is not only about being courageous and bold but being surrendered. May we heed God's call to unity today. #OurGreatOpportunity #TheGREATS #Jesus'PrayerHisLastWords #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! As we end our series Stops and Steps, we look into Moses' encounter with God. God grabbed Moses' attention by a burning bush that doesn't burn up.We have a lot of burning bushes around us, but do they grab your attention? Or are we too preoccupied and busy to even notice? Is the Lord grabbing your attention today? “We want big directional signs from God. What is God telling you to stop doing? What is He telling you to take step to? The story of Paul in the Road to Damascus shows us how God guides our steps and stops. Paul was living the life. Yet, God had a greater plan for Him. God was going to use Paul to proclaim about Him to the Gentiles. Aren't you glad, Paul said yes? He could have not believed and continued to live his life persecuting God's people. But he didn't. God guided his steps to fulfill His plan. Have you surrendered your plans to God? Or are you waiting for a Damascus moment? “God's plan for you is better than any plans you have for yourself. Happy New Year! As we begin the year 2025, we also begin a new series entitled Steps and Stops. We learn this month that God does not only guide our steps but also our stops. We learn today that Joshua led the people of Israel into the promised land. As he was about to die, he challenged them in their faith. He offered them a choice- to recommit to the Lord and serve Him or serve other gods. Joshua led the way by making a bold declaration - "As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." Rick Warren said “You were made by God and for God, and until you understand that, life will never make sense.” Joshua made a choice and he made a stand for him and his household. May we learn from Joshua today and at the end of this video, you may also decide and say, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” #StepsandStops #DeSERVE #FearlesslyFullyFaithfullySERVE #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! “God has a reason for allowing things to happen. We may never understand His wisdom, but we simply have to trust His will.” Anonymous How was your Christmas celebration? What are your preparations for the New Year? 2024 is about to end and 2025 will begin in a few days. We have a lot of apprehensions and fears about what is to come as the new year starts. Today's message tells us the story of Joseph and how he reacted when he heard of his bride's (Mary) condition. He was in a difficult situation. It was not easy to make a decision. But one thing he did, he TRUSTED GOD. May we learn from Joseph today in entrusting the unknown future to a known God. From OBCM to you, your families and friends, Happy Blessed New Year! Overjoyed! This word is an adjective that describes someone who is extremely happy or pleased. The Magi's or the wise men who went to find Jesus were already overjoyed. This feeling was only upon seeing the star that pointed to His exact location. Just imagine what they must have felt when they are already face to face with Him. They must have been beyond ecstatic! Today, as we celebrate the third day of Advent, we learn about JOY. But, how do we experience real joy? Today, we celebrated Christmas together! It is truly a joyous and memorable day! Indeed, it is far better to share the warmth, excitement and joy of the season with people you see and feel as family. As we continue with our series, we are now to hear of today's sermon entitled, Puzzle Peace. One thing to greatly remember during this special time of gifts, parties and festivities, is that there will be no Christmas without Christ and there is no true PEACE unless you have His presence. What is Peace? What is peace all about? We all long for peace and yet peace is lacking in this world. We are full of worry, anxiety, conflicts, stress, even the world we live in today is full of wars, troubles, and today, that is where Jesus comes in because Jesus is not only our Hope this Christmas, but He is also our PEACE. Celebrate with us, as we open one of the best gifts that God has given us this season, PEACE. #ExchangeGIFT #PuzzlePeace #NoJesusNoPeaceKnowJesusKnowPeace #ChristmasCelebration # aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! It's December! We can already feel the breeze, the excitement and the rush of the Christmas season! One thing about the Christmas is the giving and receiving of gifts! So today, we start we a new series entitled, Exchange Gift! This season of gift-giving, what is the one thing that you want to receive from God? Or an even better question, what are you willing to give Him this season? This wonderful day, we will all be opening the greatest gift you can receive this Christmas – CHRIST and the hope that He alone can bring. Do you know that we take approximately 23,000 breaths every single day? The process of inhaling and exhaling is not as easy as you may think. It is a complicated respiratory task that requires physiological precision. Yet we tend to thank God only for the things that take our breath away. And this is fine, but maybe we should thank Him for every other breath too. Before your start to watch or listen to the service, we ask, “Have you thanked God today?” As November comes to an end, we'd be ending it with a Thanksgiving sermon. We learn how to cultivate an attitude for gratitude from our passage today, Luke 17:11-19, the story of Jesus healing ten men with leprosy. And a question to ponder for the week ahead - What if you woke up tomorrow to find only the things you thanked God for today? – what would you have? Have a blessed week ahead! Today was a great Sunday service in our new home! It's our first day in our new home but today we end our series Glorify with the sermon entitled Grace to Praise. What is grace? What is it all about? When we understand grace, there is no other for us to do but praise. So, what prohibits us from praising God? Today, we learn our lessons from the Parable of the workers in the vineyard. We pray that as you watch and listen, you would understand grace better and that this understanding will lead you to praise! Ephesians 2:8 says “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—" #Glorify #GracetoPraise #HeFoundMe #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! We all have the same calling: to glorify God in everything we do. God created us for His glory and instructs us to do everything for His glory. But what does it mean to glorify God? It means to recognize God for who He really is and to respond appropriately. Today's message is a reminder why we give glory to God. Come join us today as we learn to KNOW (Him) MORE, EXPERIENCE (Him) MORE, and GROW (in Him) MORE and in the process, we learn that JESUS IS WORTHY …MORE THAN WORTHY. #Glorify #MoreThanWorthy #ThrowTreasureThrive #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! To end our series “It's His”, we look into the story of Moses and the Israelites as they cross the Red Sea. We have learned in the past weeks that the battle is the Lord's but this doesn't mean that we will not do anything. In today's service, we will get to know what we should do as He fights our battles. At the end of the sermon, we pray that we all see our part as He parts the sea of troubles in our lives. (Credits to the original artists and owners of the media used. In this life, we face many battles. And we want to win these battles. We win some, but here comes another one. Also, there are those un-winnable ones. But no matter what, one thing is for sure, that God is true to His words. In today's service, we will learn about one of the most unbelievable wins in the course of history – a battle led by King Jehoshaphat. One which is impossible to win. But then, God stepped in. As you listen, may you realize that when God steps in the game, everything changes. What do you do when you face obstacles, or the uncertainty of tomorrow? Are you inclined to think only in terms of the worst-case scenario? Before the Israelites were about to take over the land promised to them, they sent 12 people to spy on the land. Out of the 12, only 2 gave positive reports. These two chose with side of the battle line they will fall in. They chose the Lord's side and chose to look at the prize rather than the price, to have faith over fear and to go conquer instead of saying no. In a battle line, one must choose which side to take. As you listen to today's sermon, end it with a decision to be the winning side. It is October! And with it comes our new series entitled It's His! The battle is the Lord's! To start off, we will look into the familiar story of David and Goliath. Where God has shown His power through the yielded life of David. Whatever battle you are facing, remember God is stronger. Whatever the circumstance, God is the answer. Whatever burden you are carrying, God can lift it. Stand still and know that He is God. When you find yourself up against a goliath, don't try to fight him with your own strength and wisdom. When you do, you will likely fail. Instead, put on your spiritual armor and take your stand in the strength that the Lord provides. As you listen to today's sermon, may you realize and take hold of this, the battle is the Lord's and not yours. #It'sHIS #TheBattleistheLord's #PresencePowerPromises#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! “If I were to go to heaven, and find that Christ was not there, I would leave immediately; for heaven without Christ is hell to me.” Thomas Goodwin As we listen to today's message entitled, Jesus in 3D, may we get to see a better picture of Jesus, see Him for who He really is and get to better understand when He said His sixth, I Am statement - “I am the way, the truth and the life.” Jesus said that no one can come to the Father except through Him. He is the only way. There is no other. At then end of watching the service, may you be able to say, I believe that Jesus is the only way. #JesusSaid #Jesusin3D #IAmtheWaytheTruthandtheLife #DecideDeclareDepend #OneWayJesus #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! Are you afraid to die? Death is inevitable. All of us will die. It's just a matter of when and where. Today, let's get to see death in the lens of Jesus. Let us listen to the message entitled Reboot, looking into the fifth statement of Jesus, "I am the resurrection and the life". May we start not fearing death knowing that we will be spending eternity with Jesus, if we believe. "No hope apart from Christ, no life but in Him.' "It takes some of us a lifetime to learn that Christ, our Good Shepherd, knows exactly what He is doing with us. He understands us perfectly." - W. Phillip Keller Psalm 23 A psalm of David. 1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, 3 He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. What did Jesus mean when He said that He was the Good Shepherd? As we listen to our service today, may we find out why our relationship with the Lord was compared to the relationship of a Shepherd and His Sheep. Our prayer today is that at the end of this message, we get not to only see Jesus as the Good Shepherd, but we get to experience Him on what it means to have that Sheep and Shepherd Relationship. #JesusSaid #YOU&HimRelationSHEEP #JesusTheGoodShepherd #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! How would you describe your LIFE today? Can you say that it is abundant? Amidst all the frustrations, challenges, and conditions we experience today, can we truly say in our hearts that our life is abundant? At the end of the day, all of us want a good life, that's why we work, study and strive. The LIFE that Jesus promised is an ABUNDANT LIFE. Jesus has come that you may have life abundant and free, life to the full. He came that you may have life and not just mere existence. But you have to come through the gate. You have to come through Jesus. Come join us today as we learn The INs and OUTs of LIFE. Looking at life at one side - the in - and on the other side - the out. Seeing them being separated by a doorway, a gate, or something that can distinguish the view of you being in the IN or in the OUT. Between the ins and the outs of life, what matters is who you place at the center of your ins and outs. Remember, JESUS is the GATE. #JesusSaid #LifesInsandOuts #JesusTheGatefortheSheep #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! Jesus said in John 8:11, “I am the light of the world.” This is the second of the seven “I AM” declarations of Jesus. In declaring this, Jesus is claiming to be the exclusive source of spiritual light. Verse 11 continues that whoever follows Him will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. Is your life in darkness? let the SON SHINE in your life. Is your life empty? Let the SON SUPPLY your needs. Is your life formless? Let the SON SHAPE you. Indeed, in your life – LET THERE BE LIGHT. #JesusSaid #HereComesTheSon #JesusTheLightoftheWorld #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! August is here! And so is our new series entitled JESUS SAID. We will be learning of the SEVEN (7) “I AM” statements of Jesus found in the book of John. He didn't say, “I can give you the bread of life” or I know where you can find the bread of life” or “I know the recipe for the bread of life.” Rather, Jesus says, “I am the bread of life.” Jesus is what we need to be fully satisfied. The question is, are you hungry for God? How hungry are you for God? (Credits to the original artists and owners of the media used. For the past six Sundays, we have learned about the following signs: Turning Water to Wine (John 2:1-12) ... Healing an Official's Son (John 4:46-54) ... Healing the Man at the Pool (John 5:1-9) ... Feeding of the 5,000 (John 6:1-15) ... Walking on Water (John 6:16-21) ... Healing a Man Born Blind (John 9:7) ... In today's preaching entitled, Never Say Die, we will dive into our last sign, where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Bill Bright quoted, “With God, life is an endless hope. Without God, life is a hopeless end.” May this sign instill in us the hope the is brought about by the resurrection of Christ. It is our prayer that as we come to the last sign, we would fully believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in Him, we will have life in His name (John 20:31). The question is never ‘Are you in a storm?' The question is ‘Is Jesus in your boat?' Rich Wilkerson Jr Today we will be looking into the story of Jesus walking on water, also seen in the books of Matthew and Mark. But rather than remembering the calming of the storm or Peter's step of faith, we will be remembering Jesus. John's account of Jesus walking on water is seldom used. The most famous account is where Peter walks on water – him stepping out of the boat. Today, we will hear not about people going out of the boat rather Somebody coming IN THE BOAT. It is our prayer that as we dive deeper in the Book of John, we would fully believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in Him, we will have life in His name (John 20:31). #JohnWeek #IntheBoat #LetJesusinyourboat #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! Have you tried having unexpected guests and not have food to serve them? Stressful right? Just imagine what the disciples felt that time. But Jesus was with them, and they had a very memorable experience – stomachs…full – hearts…fuller. One of the most known miracles of Jesus is the Feeding of the 5,000. We will be learning more of Jesus as we listen to today's message on this 4th sign mentioned by John. It is our prayer that as we dive deeper in the Book of John, we would fully believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in Him, we will have life in His name (John 20:31). #JohnWeek #ThePowerofF.I.V.E. #JesusTheBreadofLIfe #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! Have you ever tried wishing by blowing dandelions, using eyelashes that fell from your eyes, or wishing upon a star? We usually place our hope to have a changed life on things such as these. If hope had a name, what would it be? Today's message will be about putting our hope on someone that is not limited – and that someone is Jesus Christ. But why put our hope in Him? This message will give us some of the answers to this question. True hope can only be found in Christ. Let us hope in Him! It is our prayer that as we dive deeper in the Book of John, we would fully believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in Him, we will have life in His name (John 20:31). #JohnWeek #HopehasaName - A.K.A #HopeinJesusChrist #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! This is the day that the Lord has made and let us rejoice and be glad in it! This Sunday we get to learn about Jesus returning to Cana where He performed another miracle – the healing of an official's son. John's whole purpose is that we would have faith in Jesus, and our passage today talks about faith. The question for today is how does your faith grow? This story of the official can shed us some light. It is our prayer that as we dive deeper in the Book of John, we would fully believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in Him, we will have life in His name (John 20:31). #JohnWeek #JesusReturns2Cana #ShallowtoRadicaltoContagiousFaith #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! A beautiful day Church Family! Join us today with the first installment of our John Week sermon series, with the sermon entitled: I Saw the Sign. It is our prayer that as we dive deeper in the Book of John, we would fully believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in Him, we will have life in His name (John 20:31). #JohnWeek #ISawtheSign #MiraclesSigns #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday! 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” In today's message, entitled Extreme Makeover, we get to look deeper into God's word in Colossians 3: 1-17. Here the author, Paul, urges believers to embrace a transformed lifestyle. Join us today as we learn to REFOCUS: picking being Christlike over being Christlack; to REMOVE: deciding if you are killing sin or is sin killing you; and lastly, to REMEMBER: choosing between being a follower over just a fan. Our relationship with Christ leads to a new life. Let us embrace it! #BacktotheBaSIX #ExtremeMakeover #OffwiththeoldOnwiththenew #NewLifeinChrist #ChristlikenessProcess #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday!
