The legendary run by Belichick came to a close 24 hours after our last episode - and the era of Jerod Mayo began! We shared our opinion on how quickly Kraft and Co. promoted Mayo (before any interviews), and all of the nuances around the changes that the new head coach is planning to make. How can you not be romantic about college football? There's not much like a good upset in CFB, and the TCU Horned Frogs gave us just that. A quick recap of the results of week 5 before jumping into the current Heisman Trophy race according to Vegas odds. CJ Stroud is the leader in that race, but he took a back seat to Miyan Williams' legendary performance in their routing of Rutgers. The matchup of the week was arguably Alabama vs Arkansas and sadly we didn't get a full game from Bryce Young  - so Jahmyr Gibbs decided to go OFF! A little late this week, ut we had to take a look at week 4's matchup between Tennessee and Florida to see how 2 interesting QBs got on. Last but not least: DJ Uiagelelei and Clemson. Week 3 ended up being a little bit of a less competitive week than expected - the lack of ranked matchups probably being the main factor - but there's still plenty to dive into. After his best game of the season so far, it seemed like the right time to take a look at why Brock Bowers is the best TE in the country as a sophmore, and where he ranks in comparison to former Florida Gator TE Kyle Pitts. Next, breakout WR Charlie Jones put on another stellar performance for Purdue in week 3 in arguably the game of the week against Syracuse, further improving on his dominant start to the season. Smith-Njigba hardly lined up for Ohio State again this week, but the Buckeyes still managed to hang up 77 points on Toledo, so we took another chance to look at how ridiculous their offense is. Last but not least, MY favorite team of the season to watch so far: the Washington Huskies. What. A. Week! It's only the 2nd week of college football and we've already had 3 MAJOR upsets in the state of the top 25. Florida, Notre Dame and Texas A&M all lose to lower (or unranked) schools. So it was time to discuss how this affects The Fighting Irish's chances of getting to the playoffs, and also Anthony Richardson's draft/Heisman stock. Oh, and let's not forget about how Texas & Quinn Ewers made Bryce Young & Alabama look like a normal group of guys! COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS BACK! The craziness of football on Saturdays is finally here and it picked up right where it left off. After an insane NFL Free Agency like movement of players transferring, we finally get to see how it all fits together. Lincoln Riley, Caleb Williams and USC got the SoCal giants back to winning ways after trouncing Rice in week one. Alabama couldn't help it and make it look like they were the only team on the field against Utah State. The NFL Draft is almost here, so this episode was mostly dedicated to Kayvon Thibodeaux and his draft status. But first, we took a look at some of the young studs lining up at wideout in CFB next season. Ohio State have two first round WRs in this years draft, but held on to arguably their best one going forward. Olave and Wilson got all the attention during their final year, but JSN was the standout performer. Moving on: the rewatch of EDGE Kayvon Thibodeaux's final year at Oregon. One of the most polarising players in the draft deserved another look. Verdict: he has somehow gone from the no.1 prospect, to the most underrated in the draft and a possible steal for some lucky team. AND WE ARE FINALLY BACK! After a long (unplanned) hiatus, the standalone ToS podcast has returned - we have a lot to talk about. The Draft combine has come and gone, so we take a look at some of the prospects who should now be 1st round locks. Spoiler: a Georgia Bulldog NOT named Jordan Davis is in there. Last season saw more than one highly recruited quarterback disappoint us - so we decided to list 4 QBs with the most to be prove next season, and more than one of them are caused by that man Caleb Williams. The college football world was set on FIRE this week! Lincoln Riley denies being the new LSU head coach, and the next day heads to USC. Riley's departure already has top prospects and recruits de-committing and transferring, as SoCal reaps the benefits of the big name head coach. Spencer Rattler is one of them and he officially entered the transfer portal and is looking for a new home - not an easy task for a guy like him. Next, we saw UL's Billy Napier becomes Florida's replacement for Dan Mullen, new money and resources are hard to turn down. Last but not least: Brian Kelly shocks the world and leaves #6, 11-1 Notre Dame to go to Baton Rouge. We had a lot to get into - Enjoy!

RIVALRY WEEK WAS INSANE! First we look back on the Snow classic we had up in Ann Arbor. We saw Aidan Hutchinson have his Heisman moment, while Jim Harbaugh got his first EVER win against Ohio State. The future head coach for LSU lost his rivalry game to Oklahoma State, and we ponder the question: Could Jimbo Fischer (who also lost) try to get Spencer Rattler to transfer next season? Georgia must be licking their lips ahead of next weeks SEC Championship game after seeing Alabama barely squeeze out a 4/OT win in the Iron Bowl. Will we see Bama in the playoffs still? And we're back! Back from a weird week of CFB, where we saw Alabama almost lose to a soon to be coachless LSU, and David Bell (Purdue) turn into Megatron against Michigan. But first, we see Matt Corral out duel Malik Willis putting him as our QB1, but despite a rough performance from Willis, we saw enough flashes to not make Corral too comfortable at no.1. Ahmad Gardner put on a clinic against USF on Friday night, showing once again that Stingley Jr. (LSU) is not exactly the clear CB1 either. Meanwhile Howell and Pickett went to war on Thursday night where both of them were massacred by their own OL. The Michigan rivalry gives us another classic - and puts Kenneth Walker right in to that number one spot in the Heisman Race. Plus, we put Aidan Hutchinson in as another first round LOCK for this years draft. This week it was the Tight End's turn to get ranked. It's a pretty safe class, with the likes of Trey McBride pretty much ready to start in the NFL tomorrow, but also features high upsides of the likes of Brock Bowers of Georgia, and Isaiah Likely of Coastal Carolina. The first CFP rankings are here too, with the likes of Oregon getting in the top 4, but Oklahoma and Cincinnati being HORRIBLY underrated (UTSA too). Now this week we have the top QBs in the draft - Malik Willis (Liberty) and Matt Corral (Ole Miss) - facing off, with the winner more than likely taking that QB1 spot in the draft. Enjoy!

AND WE BACK! Finally a slate of top tier college football for us this week. We start off with our Game of the Week from week 8, where we saw the Kansas Jayhawks give the state of Oklahoma a HEART ATTACK in arguably Caleb Williams' most heroic game yet (yup, still no Rattler), and discuss should Rattler really transfer. Next up, a very dejected BC Eagles fan says that Jurkovec's injury was easily the biggest disappointment of the season, along with D'Eriq King's final nail in his coffin at Miami - in year 6. This week we move on to one of the weaker position groups in this years draft with the Top 5 Defensive Lineman, but there is still some high end talent at the top. We don't want to say we told you so..but we told you so - Coach O is on his way OUT of Baton Rouge. We said he was on the hot seat last week, now he's soon to be on no seat come next season. Penn State are doing pretty well this season, 5-1, but with the 3rd best recruiting class heading into next year, look out for them to be challenging for that number one spot in a couple years. Next in this weeks episode we move on to our top 5 cornerbacks in the nation, and the number one was no surprise - but he doesn't have it locked quite yet with injury. We're back to recap one of the most shocking top 25 rankings in a while. Why? Because the Crimson Tide finally find themselves on the outside looking in at the college football playoffs. Like we predicted Georgia take the number one spot, while the Sooners and Rattler manage to hang on to their top 4 spot. J.D takes a look at every top 5 teams' best players - meaning he could only choose ONE of the 125 first round prospects on that Bulldogs defense. Also in this episode, it was time to decide which head coach was on the hot seat, and former National Champ Coach O definitely found himself on a scorching hot leather couch. Last but not least, next in our positional rankings are the Wide Receivers. Some freshman's were mentioned, but overall this years draft class dominated the list. What an unbelievable week of college football - a good time to come bacl. We were treated to 3 instant classic games. Calzada and the Aggies manage to somehow not only keep up with the Crimson Tide, but actually BEAT them, ending Bama's 19gm win streak. Next, Spencer Rattler takes a backseat to the Caleb Williams show as he fought off Casey Thompson and the Longhorns in a 103pt game. Lastly, Matt Corral puts another stamp on his Heisman card, as he beats Arkansas in an absolute shootout, as both schools scored over 50pts. We also name our 4 sleeper Heisman picks. Week 4 is here, so lets get it! The Clemson Tigers scraped out a win versus Georgia Tech last week to go 2-1, but affairs are most certainly NOT in order in the Post Trevor Lawrence era - similar to LSU and Joe Burrow. Florida gave Alabama a run for their money last week, but was it enough to make the Crimson Tide sweat going forward to face the likes of Ole Miss after this week. The biggest job opening in college football is on the West Coast in Southern Cali. Bienemy might be a top HC candidate in the NFL, but maybe his best landing spot is actually in the PAC-12. The QB battle in Gatorville is heating up, with Florida facing the titans that are Alabama this week, which could make or break Emory Jones.
