Day 1 of Tamperfest was madness and Day 2 has been very quiet as we begin our 2nd hour of our Tamperfest specialty show with mike Sando still in-studio. Let's talk about quarterbacks- namely our quarterback: The Geno Smith and Sam Darnold storylines could not have been more polar-opposites in 2025. And what about other QB moves around the league this week? Should Kyler Murray leave the NFL for MLB? Things have been very quiet this morning and Riq Woolen is still out there on the free agent market- will he land a really big deal? How did Mike feel about the Jobe contract? Is Ken Walker the answer Kansas City has been looking for? :30- The Ol Judge is here and Mike Sando is ready to prove he belongs in the courtroom! Ken Walker is not only going to be good in Kansas City, he's going to win a rushing title. JSN will become the highest paid wide receiver in the league and he's going to make $50 million a year. The Randy-Cal handshake-gate is going to end up being a problem. :45- We wrap up this Day 2 of Tamperfest show with one last thing! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Unfortunately as we celebrate both the Men's and Women's Olympic Hockey gold wins, things have gotten quite political. Their accomplishments shouldn't have been diminished. Jerry Brewer, The Athletic joins Ian to react to the things we heard in the conference call as the Men's Olympic hockey team spoke with the President. We hear from Hilary Knight, who was forced to speak on and react to that - rather than speaking about the feat the US Team overcame in the Olympics. Shouldn't the Olympics unite us? Jerry weighs in on sports being weaponized when it comes to politics. He also talks about why he wrote the article he did. The Daily Power Play! Corbin Smith, Emerald City Spectrum tells Ian what Seahawks' deals need to be done ASAP and which ones might be able to wait just a bit. JSN is in the former category and it's probably better in the long run for the team when it comes to financial sense. Corbin takes us inside what happens at the NFL Scouting Combine. Headlines and 12th Man news with GREGG BELL (Tacoma News Tribune) - How is the business being handled in Indy? - How aggressive will the Seahawks be in trying to sign Ken Walker and what does bringing him back mean for the rest of the free agents? - Is it a priority to bring back Boye Mafe? - What other noteworthy things did Schneider discuss? - Would they consider increasing Sam Darnold's salary after just one season? - Would they use the 5th year options on JSN and Witherspoon to buy some time? :30- The Kraken are back, finally! With 25 games to go in the regular season, the Kraken can't come out cold. We aren't saying they need to win 5 in a row, they just need to be consistent and if they can do that, they should be able to secure a spot in the playoffs. So, what will it take to get that playoff spot? :45- We get Reckless at Breakfast for the 3rd time this week but today might be the least reckless we've been so far. We take a look at the starting 5 for the Mariners and their contract situations. Would anyone be willing to take the “hometown discount” to stay? When the choice comes down to two guys, who is more likely to stay and who will go? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
JSN had a remarkable season and while he's not a free agent until 2027 at the earliest, does it make sense for the Seahawks to sign him to a contract extension and make him the highest paid wide receiver now? JSN has already made the comment that he believes he should be made the highest paid WR in the NFL and that he has earned that with this year's performance- that price tag is only going to go up next year, so does it make sense to do it now? :30- John Schneider spoke to the media yesterday in Indianapolis and one of the things he addressed was the status of Ken Walker negotiations and whether or not the Hawks want the Super Bowl MVP back. :45- It's time to revisit our time in Peoria last week and look at what Chuck learned at Spring Training part 5! This organization is happy right now. They are coming off their best playoff run ever and made the moves they wanted to make this offseason.

We wrap the NFC divisions with NFC West Trinity (Episode 5)—breaking down every team's fantasy environment heading into free agency using the Trinity Tracker on ddfantasyfootball.com. We start in Arizona with the big questions (QB play, new OC, and the Marvin Harrison Jr. vs Michael Wilson market gap), then hit the Rams' concentrated offense and why their tight end room is still a trap. We finish with Seattle's post-title outlook (JSN at the top, what to do with the WR2 chatter) and San Francisco's wide-open pass-catcher room where Ricky Pearsall sits in a prime environment if he can stay on the field. The Seattle Seahawks are now two-time Super Bowl Champions and it still feels surreal. We're continuing the celebration with a full walkthrough of the win over New England and a preview of some of the major offseason topics. Seattle set the tone early, flipped field position through elite special teams, and leaned on a dominant defense that consistently harassed Drake Maye. Kenneth Walker kicked off his campaign for MVP early and the offensive line established their physicality on the first play of the game. Some outstanding plays by the Patriots defense kept Seattle out of the end zone in the first half, but Jason Myers was still able to help build a two-score cushion going into the half. The defense continued to overwhelm New England in the third quarter and held them scoreless. The contributions throughout the game included sacks by Devon Witherspoon, Byron Murphy, Derick Hall and rookie Rylie Mills. As Maye continued to get rattled, it led to key turnovers. Julian Love called his own interception as we saw in the mid'd up version of the Super Bowl. Byron Murphy recovered a fumble that led to the Seahawks only offensive touchdown by AJ Barner, and a Witherspoon pressure gave Uchenna Nwosu a score to match the Seahawks offensive touchdown output. We tackle the debate around Sam Darnold's performance—praised for poise against pressure and also criticized for a missed end-zone throw and a completion percentage that was among his lowest of the season. Offseason questions emerge along the way. How does Seattle sustain a title run? How should they handle some key free agents like Josh Jobe and Tariq Woolen? Do they need to approaches their big-money extensions for JSN and Witherspoon before making some of the more difficult decisions. Coaching and organizational themes surface too, from Mike McDonald's game planning and halftime adjustments to the team's continuity of culture. The episode closes with shout-outs to our members of the flock, listener emails, parade moments, and a nod to Jody Allen as the steady hand atop a championship organization.
