Blau's job is to follow it all in his new position covering Kiffin's program for The Advocate/Times-Picayune newspaper. Blau, who spent the previous five years covering Clemson for The Post and Courier of Charleston, shares why he decided to make the move. He also shares that he hasn't had an introduction to Kiffin because Kiffin isn't much for one-on-one conversations. Quite the change-up from the always approachable Dabo Swinney. Blau has spent years covering games in one Death Valley. This Saturday he'll get his first experience in LSU's Death Valley when Kiffin plays host to Swinney.

"I think they think they're good," said the ESPN analyst and SiriusXM Radio co-host. "But I don't know if they know they're good yet. And I understand how that feels as a player. You wouldn't say this out loud, but LSU is going to prove to them that they're good or it will confirm some doubts they have. I think it's a team that's cautiously confident." Jones played A-back for Georgia Tech and Paul Johnson from 2008 to 2011. He ranks first in the school's record books in career games started (52), third in career games played (52) and 12th in career rushing yards (1,846).

Luginbill says there is a different edge to Dabo Swinney in the wake of last season's six-loss debacle that came nowhere close to the Top 5 expectations just about everyone had -- including Swinney himself. Luginbill is also high on Clemson's offensive line. He says quarterback Christopher Vizzina is managing the offense crisply, and he loves the dynamic that freshman Tait Reynolds can bring with his size, arm strength and ability to run the ball. Luginbill believes this team is every bit capable of getting back to Charlotte, challenging for an ACC title and landing in the College Football Playoff.

PRESSURE: Dabo Swinney Will Ride With EXPERIENCED Quarterback, Clemson Must Win NOW

The Clemson Tigers face a critical crossroads as Christopher Vizzina leads a high-stakes quarterback battle with true freshman Tate Reynolds ahead of a challenging schedule, including playing at LSU Week 1. Dabo Swinney almost always rides with the experienced quarterback, at least to begin a season, so look for Vizzina to get the nod at quarterback. Will Swinney's loyalty to veteran players pay off, or will the pressure for improved clutch performances define the season? The arrival of impact transfers aims to shore up Clemson's depth, especially in the secondary, but question marks linger over the defensive line and Vizzina's ability to make game-changing plays after the Tigers went 7-6 in 2025. Brian Smith and Morgan Thomas break down Clemson's transfer portal overhaul, the return of Chad Morris as offensive coordinator, and rising expectations in an ACC that demands more than mediocrity. Key discussions spotlight Elliott Washington's potential in the secondary, Vic Burley's underwhelming development, and the fanbase's restless call for double-digit wins. The Clemson Tigers face pivotal questions as the quarterback battle between Christopher Vizzina and Tate Reynolds heats up ahead of a high-stakes opener against LSU in Baton Rouge. Can Vizzina transition from backup to at least a game manager, or will Clemson's offense look for a new spark under Chad Morris' guidance, which would be the highly unlikely choice based on Dabo Swinney's history? The Tigers' 7-6 record last season has fans skeptical yet hopeful as expectations remain sky-high for a return to dominance. Brian Smith and Morgan Thomas scrutinize Clemson's aggressive moves in the transfer portal, debating whether key additions like Elliott Washington and Chris Johnson, Jr. will provide the edge needed. The discussion highlights uncertainty on the defensive line, portal strategy shifts, and Dabo Swinney's evolving recruiting philosophy in today's NIL landscape. In this second part episode, hosts Bob Bianchi and Dave Bruno dive into the mindset habits Gordon teaches elite performers — from Sean McVay to Dabo Swinney to the Miami Heat — and how they apply to lawyers, leaders, and anyone navigating high-pressure work. You will learn how to handle "energy vampires" on your team with Gordon's three-step rule — "you address it, you transform it. If you can't transform it, you must remove it" — how to lead younger generations with love and accountability, and why he tells everyone to forgive fast: "Don't let old battles keep you from new victories." The conversation closes with the principle behind his book The One Truth: oneness versus separateness, and why connection is the foundation of peace and performance.
