In this episode of Regener8d Radio, Gregg sits down with Alex DiPrima, the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Church in Winston Salem, NC. He holds a PhD from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in historical theology with an emphasis in the ministry of Charles Spurgeon. Gregg and Alex discuss the Downgrade Contrversy. In this episode of Regener8d Radio, Gregg sits down with Josh Sommer, pastor of Victory Baptist Church. Josh grew up attending a conservative Lutheran church in Joplin, MO with his parents. While the Gospel was presented several times, it wasn't until the Lord effectually called him—during his time in the United States Marine Corps—that Josh would see the beauty and majesty of the Lord Jesus Christ. According to the will of God, Josh repented of his sin and was adopted by God the Father in Christ, thereby receiving His imputed righteousness by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8, 9). Gregg and Josh discuss Classical Theism, where it comes from in Scripture, and how it affects different doctrines in different ways. In this episode of Regener8d Radio, Gregg sits down with Dr. Richard Barcellos, who is pastor of Grace Reformed Baptist Church (www.grbcav.org), Palmdale, CA, and author of In Defense of the Decalogue: A Critique of New Covenant Theology, The Family Tree of Reformed Biblical Theology, The Lord's Supper as a Means of Grace: More than a Memory, and Getting the Garden Right: Adam's work and God's rest in light of Christ. Gregg and Dr. Barcellos discuss Redemptive-Historical and Theological hermeneutics, or the lenses through which we read the scriptures. Did Jesus, Paul, and other biblical writers read (and write) from a certain hermeneutical perspective? Can we even replicate that? In this episode of Regener8d Radio, Gregg sits down with Conley Owens, pastor at Silicon Valley Reformed Baptist Church and author of "The Dorean Principle", which offers a fresh look at the Bible's guidance on ministry fundraising and exposes common practices that run afoul of its instruction. Conley Owens presents a robust synthesis of Jesus and the apostle Paul's theology, concluding that “ministry should be supported, not sold.” Drawing from his experience as both a pastor and an engineer, he provides practical solutions to the challenges that lie at the intersection of money and ministry. ________________________ Resources for this episode: The Dorean Principle (appropriately available for free): https://thedoreanprinciple.org/ First Love Ministries: https://www.firstloveministries.org/ ________________________ Regener8d Designs is now live! In this episode, broadcast live on January 25th, 2022 on YouTube, I host a friendly debate on how the Christian interacts with the state. Timon Cline will be representing the idea of "Integralism", which would imply that the government should reflect explicitly Christian values and legislation, and Christians should seek to create that environment. Tom Hicks will be representing a flavor of Two Kingdoms Theology, which implies that God has created a common kingdom and a redemptive kingdom, and though Jesus is king over both, the Christian will interact with each sphere differently. Debate format: Opening Position statements - 15 minutes each Rebuttals - 10 minutes each Dialogue - 30-45 minutes Audience questions until 2 hour mark. Hope you enjoy.
