The RetroMacCast podcast is a fantastic show that delves into the world of vintage Apple Macintosh computers. It is well-produced and filled with informative and entertaining content. The hosts, James and John, have great chemistry and their passion for the subject matter shines through in every episode. I recently discovered this podcast and have been working my way through the entire series, thoroughly enjoying every minute.
One of the best aspects of The RetroMacCast is the depth of knowledge that James and John possess about retro Macs. They provide detailed information about various models, their history, and their significance in the Apple ecosystem. They also discuss eBay auctions involving retro Macs, read listener emails, and cover news related to Macs in general. This combination of educational content and engaging discussion makes for a truly enjoyable listening experience.
Unfortunately, one downside of The RetroMacCast is that it includes images to accompany the audio, but these images cannot be viewed on certain platforms such as iTunes.app or on iPod Nanos. This can be frustrating for listeners who want to see the pictures larger or who are unable to access a device where they can view them. It would be helpful if there was an alternative way to access these images for those who are interested in seeing them.
In conclusion, The RetroMacCast is a must-listen podcast for anyone interested in vintage Apple Macintosh computers. James and John's enthusiasm, knowledge, and entertaining presentation make this show a joy to listen to. Despite the small drawback of not being able to view all the accompanying images easily, this podcast remains highly recommended for any fan of retro technology or Apple history.
