Paul Silva got plenty of people talking earlier this year when he bolted an unpainted wing on the 57 for qualifying sessions. But was it a diversion, or is it really providing speed? We'll look at some numbers and talk about a few more things that competitors have noticed. Plus sprint car ride swapping, and a lot more.
On this episode of Nemo Radio, I'll be sharing the second half of a 6 step process that helps you turn LinkedIn connections into paying clients - one that took me years to test, tweak, adjust and perfect!I discovered this system after years of wasting countless hours on sales calls with prospects who were never going to buy, weren't a good fit, or would become problem clients that made me regret taking their money. Here's what's fascinating: While most business owners obsess over sales scripts and closing techniques, they're completely overlooking the critical steps that happen before you ever get on a sales call. After thousands of sales conversations over the past several years, I've developed a proven process for pre-qualifying prospects that ensures you only spend time with people who are ready, willing, and able to become you ideal clients. What You'll Discover:

Stuart Codling and Filip Cleeren sit down to review what was a hectic Qualifying day at the 2025 Bahrain Grand Prix. Together, they review what was Oscar Piastri's second pole position of the season, and explain how his teammate Lando Norris was so far back in comparison. There's also an explainer as to why Alex Albon was denied a chance to run in Q2 because of a track limits violation by Nico Hulkenberg, and why both Mercedes were demoted a position each due to a strange quirk with an "estimated" restart time. And finally, there's a reaction to a downbeat Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, with the Dutchman claiming he's just "taking part" in the 2025 title fight, and Lewis apologising to his team for what he deemed a poor performance in ninth. Kellyn Acosta was a key member of the US Men's National Team that qualified for and then played in the 2022 FIFA Men's World Cup in Qatar. His journey to that tournament, and significance of his participation, is unique to the story of soccer in America. Acosta was born in Dallas, Texas and joined he FC Dallas youth system in 2009. He worked his way through the Development Academy, then onto the senior team in 2013. He emerged as a regular on the FC Dallas team and became recognized as a rising star in the US Soccer ecosystem. Kellyn was part of that group and experienced the ebbs and flows of the transition before ultimately being a key contributor in the Qualifying cycle. He is the son of a Japanese father and an African American Mother. When he earned a roster spot for the 2022 World Cup, Kellyn became the first Asian American man to appear for the United States in a World Cup. The Senior Care Industry Netcast w/ Valerie V RN BSN & Dawn Fiala
Send us a textBuilding an effective home care marketing and sales team requires more than just hiring the right people—it demands creating systems that scale as your agency grows. Whether you're a solo owner-operator handling all aspects of marketing or managing multiple marketers across a larger organization, the foundations remain the same. The cornerstone of successful home care marketing lies in three key elements: a compelling differentiator, deep understanding of referral sources, and unwavering consistency. Your differentiator answers the crucial question skilled nursing facility staff often ask: "Why should I work with you when I already have relationships with dozens of other agencies?" Without a clear, meaningful response, you'll struggle to gain traction in competitive markets.Qualifying your referral sources emerges as a critical strategy for maximizing limited marketing time. Using Medicare.gov to identify facilities with higher percentages of Medicare patients (versus Medicaid) helps focus your efforts on locations most likely to generate private pay clients. This strategic approach ensures you're not spinning your wheels with referral sources unlikely to produce results. The conversation around scalable sales processes reveals how effective marketing systems must function across team sizes. As one participant noted: "If it's not in the CRM, it didn't happen." This philosophy underscores the importance of documentation, tracking, and analysis in building sustainable marketing operations. Proper tracking helps identify which marketing activities generate the best outcomes and which relationships need attention before referrals drop off.Perhaps most compelling is the insight into how referral sources—particularly skilled nursing facilities—evaluate home care agencies. They need partners who can not only provide quality care but also successfully convert referrals into signed clients, ensuring safe discharges and preventing readmissions. When you consistently demonstrate this ability, referral sources keep sending business your way.Ready to transform your home care marketing efforts? Join our comprehensive 12-week sales training program and discover proven strategies for building referral relationships that generate consistent private pay clients.Continuum Mastery Circle IntroVisit our website at https://asnhomecaremarketing.comGet Your 11 Free Home Care Marketing Guides: https://bit.ly/homecarerev

It's officially that time again: The spreadsheets are out and the ranking formulas are loaded. Chris Chavez and Preet Majithia have returned with the kind of number crunching that would make a tax accountant blush.Yes — we're talking about The Ten, and more broadly, the increasingly anxiety-inducing state of the 10,000 meters heading into the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo.Because apparently World Athletics took one look at the event and said, ‘What if we made this harder, more confusing, and fully dependent on vibes, shoe tech, and whether your country's federation knows how to read the rankings page?'So here we are. The women's standard dropped to a vicious 30:20.00. The men's remains at a world-class 27:00.00. And unless you're from Kenya or Ethiopia—or somehow running 10Ks on the road in super shoes fast enough to melt tarmac—you're probably counting on the whims of the World Rankings gods to punch your ticket to Tokyo. In the U.S., Weini Kelati is still the queen of consistency. Parker Valby and Karissa Schweizer skipped The Ten entirely. Elise Cranny has re-entered the picture and Jessica McClain quietly garnered some valuable points by PR'ing by half a minute. On the men's side, it's a little simpler: Grant Fisher, Nico Young, Graham Blanks, and Woody Kincaid are qualified. All they have to do is battle at USAs.There's still time. A 10K at Mt. SAC is coming. Maybe Pre will host a last-minute 10K. So let's break down who's up, who's down, who's close and who's hoping UK Athletics doesn't screw them over again.Hosts: Chris Chavez | @chris_j_chavez on Instagram + Preet Majithia | @preetmajithia on InstagramSUPPORT OUR SPONSORSKETONE-IQ: Level up your training with Ketone-IQ – a clean shot of energy with no sugar or caffeine.
