Dr. Jennifer Betters-Bubon talks about suicidality and helping prepare supervisees for the inevitable topic of suicide. Dr. Betters-Bubon is an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. She is in the process of writing several articles about suicidality and suicide prevention and she is also going to be speaking about suicide with high schoolers specifically. She is trained as both a school counselor and a mental health counselor as well as being a counselor educator.

Dr. Reka Farago joins us on Supervision Time to discuss sexuality in supervision. She has been focused on sexuality counseling throughout her career and incorporates that focus into supervision. She earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision with a concentration in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Northern Colorado. She has centered her research on human sexuality topics and pedagogy in counselor preparation specific to sex and sexuality. In this episode, she dives into what sexuality topics might look like in supervision, as well as some of the challenges and discomforts that come with the territory.
