Come check out Week 1 of our series in 1 John as we listen to the words of a man who personally knew Jesus and wrote this letter "so you know" Him too.

Whether it's control, security, or desire, failure to tear down these idols will result in broken hearts and missed expectations. Come hear from God's Word as Nick Swearingen speaks on the idols that are prevalent in modern dating.

What does it look like when God a movement of Jesus followers continues for years, decades, a generation? Exponential Kingdom Growth. The world looks different because a generation pressed in to discipleship, marriages are whole and healthy, workplaces are changed for Christ, the church is vibrant and powerful, and faith is what marks a people. Do you want to see this and long for this in this broken world? Listen and be moved by the Lord into discipleship and disciple-making.

Jesus is clear that being his disciples and making disciples is costly. This means there will be reasons for us to not continue, to take an exit ramp, to stop altogether in being discipled or making disciples. Prayerfully, this discussion will help to identify some of the common reasons so that we can avoid it and be an increasingly faithful servant of Christ.

One reason our discipleship can be stifled, both personally and collectively, is we don't seek to disciple people who aren't in our church, or aren't yet a part of our community. Often this is due to Christian's unwilling to share the gospel. If the Kingdom is going to grow, we must be open to God using us and growing us in our faith, being willing to put ourselves out there for the sake of those who don't yet know Jesus. Need help? ---> Listen!

Discipleship is meant to take us somewhere, and that place is Christian Maturity - another way to say that is "Christ-likeness". Don't know what that looks like for you or for someone else? Listen for what the Bible says on this!

In week 3, we identify 5 postures of a person who is ready to be discipled, who is eager for God to change them to be more like Him - want to grow in your faith? This is what you need ^.

All the options of content to consume, fixes to implement, shortcuts to try when it come growing in our faith, they all fall short. Jesus has given us the strategy that works - Be discipled and make disciples.

In our last week of this series on the disciplines, we get as practical as we can - we hope this series blesses you in all your efforts to know Christ!

The power for the spiritual disciplines doesn't come from within ourselves, or our own strength. The power to live the Christian life, the power to stand strong in the faith, what completes the armor of God, is prayer.

For young adults, a silent and solitary style of life is often not something we pursue, or even aspire to. Jesus modeled a life like this, and calls us to follow him. Listen here to hear how you can follow Jesus in this way.

Kicking off our "Higher Calling" series in the book of Philippians, we look at the Apostle Paul's heartfelt hello - and how it's not just sweet nothings. Rather, Paul shows that when the gospel is at the center of our relationships and fellowship as followers of Jesus, we relate to and love one another at deep levels, in truly and purely affectionate ways.

In our last discussion on relating, we host a panel of people who have made it a point to lean in to the local church and all the ways God works in the church, and through the church. Your creator made a way for you to be not only loved by him, but no longer his enemy, a part of his Holy family, and accepted by him forever.

How deeply connected are you in your life right now? Would you say you can rely on someone outside of yourself if "the worst" took place? Hear how God has made you and wants to guide you into a life of strong connections.
