This week Jess and Sian get to speak to “Chronic But Iconic” podcast host, Sophie Ward all the way from the UK. Sophie spent a large portion of her life in the pool as part of the GBR swim team. In prep for London 2020 Olympics, Sophie went to watch her friends compete in the Beijing olympics to also get a glimpse of what she was working towards but that trip was life changing in a far more destructive way that planned. Years later Sophie learns that an excursion to gaze upon pandas set her on her health battle of a lifetime.
