Some believe that a Christian can never lose his salvation. I agree that a Christian can never "lose" their salvation, but I believe that they can choose to walk away from it and to make the choice to stop believing in Jesus. God has given us a free will, and He desires that we choose to endure untill the end with faith in the Lord Jesus.

You may be feeling frustrated, impatient, discouraged and even angry that you haven't seen God answer your prayers yet. You have been believing God for breakthrough in specific areas of your life, marriage, family, finances or health, and it feels like God is not even there. These times are very difficult, but God is with you and he is preparing us for what's in store, and teaching us how to be more like Jesus. When you are at the red Sea of impossibility, be still and wait upon God.

Many people go to church on Sundays. Many people know bible verses and even pray. Many people profess to be a "Christian", but their hearts are far from God. We cannot fool Jesus! He knows those people who are truly His.

Even God loving, God fearing, humble and kind Christian men, can face brutal battles of anxiety and depression. The bible reveals many stories of men who faced these terrible feelings and battled through by faith in God. I also share my story on today's episode. I hope you are encouraged!

You may have heard the quote, "show me your friends and I'll show you your future". I agree with this. The people that we hang out with and invest most of our time, energy and money on, will influence us. It is so important that as Christian men, we hang out with godly men who we can be like minded with and who we can be encouraged by in our walk with the Lord.

In the sin filled and self focused world that we live in, we must be ready to obey God rather then any man. We are to obey and honor authority that is over us, but not if they are trying to force us to disobey God. We must be faithful men to God, despite any fear of man that may come our way.

If we neglect our physical health by not paying attention to how many calories we are eating, and how much exercise we are getting, we will quickly realize how out of shape we are. This same principle applies to out spiritual life as followers of Jesus. We need to be men who workout our bodies and hearts before the Lord.

When God brings your life into a transition, it is always for your good. Keep focused on Jesus as He writes out your story perfectly. He will bring you through into a place of new and exciting things.

Life is hard and is full of so much responsibility with family, work, health, finances, ministry, and on and on and on. We may have seasons where we are carrying to many things, and eventually find ourselves running on fumes, and next thing you know is that we are burnt out. We need to recognize these times and make the necessary changes in order to get back your health, energy and joy.

We live is such a perverted and sinful world where there are many things that can defile a man. Yes, Jesus makes us pure and clean by His sacrifice on the cross and our faith in Him, but we are called to live holy and pure lives before the Lord. If you are a struggling with things that are defiling you as a man of God, Jesus has grace and mercy for you as you confess these things to Him.

When we are faced with really hard times and things only seem to be getting worse, we will be tempted to doubt God and give in to fear. These are the times where we must hold on to our faith in God and trust fully in His promises for us. Mark 5: 21-43 Isaiah 41:10

Life is chaotic. We feel the weight of stress, pressure and responsibility. It gets hard at times, and we find that we have lost our peace. This is not God's will for us. He wants us to live in His perfect peace.

You may be waiting on God to see answers to your prayers. You may feel like breakthrough will never come. Sometimes we need to set aside some intentional time in our Christian life, and do some prayer and fasting. As we deny our flesh from food, and lean totally upon God, we can believe Him for breakthrough.

God has had many of us in a season of preparation. I believe this year, God is going to place before us an opportunity or position for us to step into. This is the thing that God has been making us ready for. Don't be afraid to step into whatever God is showing you. Keep your eyes on Him and step out of the boat and into the waters of the unknown. Matthew 14: 22-31

Waiting can be very frustrating. We want everything that God has for us now, but waiting is a MASSIVE part of the faith journey with God. God's timing and His ways are perfect, so be at peace as you continue to wait upon the Lord!

Every man who is a Christian will still at times make the wrong and selfish choice to commit sin. Sometimes when we do, we really feel the weight of that sin and are bombarded with guilt, shame and condemnation. Because of the mercy and love of God, and the fact that because of our faith in Jesus, we are children of God, we can get up in His grace, repent and keep standing for Jesus. If you have fallen into sin, remember what Christ has done on the cross and GET UP!!

Joseph wrestled with the fact that his fiance Mary, was pregnant before they were married. This was impossible as she was a virgin. The bible says that he considered breaking off the engagement, assuming that Mary had cheated on him. This of course was not true, and God revealed this to Joseph. Sometimes God allows for some painful situations in our lives that make no sense, that seem to be very bad and can't be of God. But God will use these things for His purposes and for our good if we trust Him
