Koyote the Blind talks about his unique experiences and insights on the Great Work, magick, mysticism, shamanism, and the spiritual path. These are Koyote's words to you, directly to you, without distractions or buffers. Koyote speaks directly from the heart about all things that his consciousness…
What is the Great Work? What is the role of the soul in this Work? We create a soul with higher substances that result from working in the higher dimensions. How can we accumulate and use these higher substances?
What happens when the being is free from the prison, and safety, of the sleeping state? This chapter deals with the events in the jungle of the real world, when the adept stands alone in the presence of the eternal.
What happens once in the waking state? How can we train in that state? To what end?
What is the role of the three centers of a human being: thinking, emotional, and moving? How can we awaken the higher emotional center and use it to connects us to the evolutionary forces that guide humanity? This chapter of The Teachings of a Toltec Survivor also deals with the different attentions, and illustrate their use for the triggering of evolution and the formation of higher bodies.
A strange journey, an encounter with power, and finding the Nagual. In this chapter, Koyote relates the strange story of his encounter with a magical creature, an epic journey with his childhood friend, a brush with death, and the moment in which he found the Nagual, his benefactor that was to connect him with his Toltec lineage. “There is a technology that can be applied to consciousness itself... The basis to uncover the secrets of alchemy the Toltecs had lies in the understanding of the true nature of reality, the true nature of our essence, and the true nature of our perception. To fully know this triad would give you the ability to do anything that is your will to do. External reality is all made of vibration. Our true natures is a point of view of the supreme consciousness, the all-pervading eye of God. The mechanism of perception is the union of vibration with sentience, and mastery of this is the supreme power.”
This is chapter 6 of The Teachings of a Toltec Survivor. Koyote talks about the nature of the Great Magician as the pivotal focus that stands as the assemblage point of the human world. He is the one who is perceived as the one in control of this illusion, and at times he comes declare himself God. The Great Magician, however, is not the real supreme consciousness. He is the equivalent of the false ego for humanity. He stands as a concentration of power over the dream, but in the end he is also part of the dream, and such his power is really an illusion. Learn the true nature of your self as something beyond this dream, and know yourself beyond the illusion of the World. Free yourself from the bondage of the Great Magician by the path of knowledge. In the end, you have given your power to the Great Magician. You can take it back and realize yourself as the dreamer who creates your own reality, but instead of identifying yourself as the dream self, you can know yourself as the silent void beyond all dreams, thus attaining liberation through awakening.
This is a reading of chapter 5 of The Teachings of a Toltec Survivor. The nature of the illusion of Maya and the Tonal is further explored, along with the deceptions of the New Age and the con game. Also, the nature of karma and the purpose of esoteric work are explored.
In this episode, Koyote reads chapter 4 of The Teachings of a Toltec Survivor. How is the personality formed, and how it is connected to the eternal essence? Listen to the story of the Great Magician and how he keeps humans enslaved through the hypnotic state of ordinary life. Listen also to how the black sheep uses the law of vibration to achieve freedom from the sleeping state. Finally, witness in this chapter how the Aka Dua was first presented to the world as a vibration of an esoteric school for those who wish to wake up from the bounds to the Great Magician. Enjoy!
In this chapter, I read chapter 3 of The Teachings of a Toltec Survivor: Sleep Is Your First Tool. A technique is presented where the force of the sleeping state is used to awaken the machine. We have to start where we are, and use what we have at hand. This chapter discusses the principles of practical work on self, and illustrates the mastery the Toltecs had over their Tonal.
The Tonal is an island we form to have an experience. It is the knowable, the World wherein we live. In this episode, I read chapter 2 The Teachings of a Toltec Survivor. A technique is given to being to see the reality beyond the veil of illusion provided by the Tonal, and a way of working with the Tonal in order to awaken the vision of the infinite is discussed. This chapter will be discussed further in class, on Thursday, July 25th, 2019. You can come to the class live by visiting my YouTube Channel: www.youtube.com/koyotetheblind. The class is by donation only, and it is open to everyone. You can watch previous classes on the Book Discussion playlist.
I read chapter one of my book, The Teachings of a Toltec Survivor. In this chapter, the origins of the Toltec lineage are presented, along with certain principles of esoteric work the Toltecs used. The image of temple prostitutes is used here to illustrate the way in which work on self can happen, and the relationship between the outer world and the inner, by presenting their relationship not as dual, but triune. Here, the world we will use to work on, the tonal, is not just the inner world of the mind and the outer world of the senses. It is, instead, a system of three concentric circles, or a three leveled piramidal structure, with an exoteric, a mesoteric, and an esoteric center--each with its own language and practices. I will lead a book discussion class. We begin with this chapter on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. PST. The class is by donation. This is an author reading of the introduction to my book, The Teachings of a Toltec Survivor. I present here where the book comes from, its function as a shamanic artifact, and the promise made about what will happen if you lend me your attention and take this journey with me. This chapter makes the case for the book to be a catalyst for evolutionary transformation. It is not a book that only provides information and theoretical ideas. It is a narrative from the Nagual that can transport you into the space of the Teachings, where you will be bathed in the transforming radiations of the Nagual.
In this episode, I read the preface and foreword from my book, The Teachings of a Toltec Survivor. This sets up the purpose of the book, and a promise of what will happen if you bring your attention to this journey through the story telling of the Nagual. Future episodes will feature the reading of a chapter per episode. Starting on Thursday, July 18, 2019, I will be discussing this book, going deeper with the subjects and answering questions. This class is by donation only, and you can attend online or in person. The truth is not outside. Everything outside your Self can only serve as a reflection of your inner nature. The search for truth outside the Self will lead nowhere. It won’t be found in any dogma, religion, system, belief, or practice. All these can do is show adumbrations of the inner truth. Like the sun reflects itself on the water, so can the inner self reflect its light on the surface of the mind. The clear, silent mind reflects the light of our solar nature, our true Self. The real value of the mind is as a tool to examine and realize the futility of it’s own efforts. When the mind realizes its own futility, it drops the effort and simply reflects the inner light in the silence of its non-doing.
The truth is within. The truth is never to be found in any religion, in any method, in any theory, in any teaching; because the truth is not outside of you. Anything outside of you is part of your experience of planetary existence. Know, however, that you already are that. That everything you experience, you experience because there is that solar consciousness interacting with this body. That you wouldn’t be able to experience anything, were it not for pure-consciousness in you. Do not rely, then, on all the teachings and all the religions, and all the theories, and all the ideas, and all the words of the masters. Just look within yourself. Just like every cell of your body is conscious, yet unaware of you, so is every individual member of the human race conscious but unaware of the Inner Circle. Yet, every cell of the body is attuned to the signals coming from the brain. The cell is not always aware of this signal, or where it's coming from, but if it is received, it directs the actions of the cell. The brain does not micromanage each cell or organ. The brain releases hormones, keeps timing, creates conditions in the body that will prompt the cells to act in a certain way. So does the center of humanity direct it's evolutionary intelligence, by creating conditions and emanating vibrations of freedom and higher consciousness. The Inner Circle of humanity is not a cabal of individuals bent on domination and demanding obedience. It is the unified intelligence behind each individual, regardless of race, gender, culture, intelligence, or attainment. It is you, beyond all your identities. It is humanity as an individuated whole. Support this podcast: PayPal.me/KoyotetheBlind
Our human nervous system is always running hypotheses about the world around us, and putting together a simulation of this world inside us. The role of family and tribe is to help us program this world to let us know how to think, how to behave, and how to understand ourselves. Religions, social groups, and belief systems have tried to take over these programs to control how we perceive and how we behave. The Great Work is the ultimate heresy, and it defies us to discard all programs and beliefs, to use everything as a tool without identifying with any belief, and ultimately to stand alone and naked in the face of the infinite. www.koyotetheblind.com
“Who is the great Mage? Who paints sky and ocean blue? Let's cut to the chase and provide a simple, working definition for the Great Work. It is at the same time an irrevocably individual act of artistic self creation, but at the same time, it is the unending work of the inner circle of humanity to guide the human race towards evolution.
