This week, the WTF Horror Podcast crew reviews the Turkish movie BASKIN from 2015. A beautiful and haunting mix of Hellraiser and Inception. One of the most unique and scary visions of a hellscape we have scene on film, plus the score is top notch.

Good Ole Hubert West. What a classic. Plus, Barbara Crampton. Really digging all of these Stewart Gordon Movies!

Horror Director Legend vs Horror SFX Icon. Who did it better? The original is a huge cult classic, and for good reason. It is a master class in excellent horror film making without losing the emotional elements so many 80's/90's horror is missing. On the other hand, Tate's new vision and polished cinematography in the remake set up a fun ride with solid acting. It is surprisingly good, although it never really got the credit it deserved.

This week, the WTF Horror Podcast crew breaks down and reviews the 1982 Frank Henenlotter horror masterpiece/disaster, BASKET CASE. A true gritty 1980's look into life in New York City. Love it or hate it, there is no in between. Some truly disturbing moments mixed with some heartbreaking sibling relationship exploring. This movie is just weird.

This week, the WTF Horror Podcast Crew Reviews the arthouse, foreign film LUZ from 2019. Filmed in France, recorded in Spanish, translated to German, with English subtitles. Confused yet? Yeah, so are we. But the creativity of the director and the engaging middle act really carry this film to be better than it has any rights being. Streaming on Tubi (with ads) and Shudder. And not to be confused with the 2022 film of the same name.

This week we review the new found footage anthology, V/H/S/99. Will they ever be able to match the magic from the first two installments of this series... probably not. But they can at least get close with a unique and fun change of pace.

This week, the crew breaks down Halloween Ends. Is this the conclusion that Michael Meyers deserves or this just another run of the mill, stabby stabby stab fest with no substance? A POLARIZING (lol) look at an infamous horror icon.

A work of Art! Art the Clown is back to terrify us. A modernized Freddy Krueger, but better. Gore, Practical Effects, and a genuinely batshit crazy SOB antagonist. This one has it all and embodies what horror is. The low budget adds to the creepiness. Please never sell the rights to Art, and please keep making these movies!!!

We watched it so you don't have to. This film should have stayed banned. DO NOT WATCH A SERBIAN FILM. And we are ok if you want to skip this one.

In this bonus episode, we talk about Rob Zombie's new passion project, The Munsters. A fun little jaunt into a side of Rob Zombie that we didn't know existed. Proud of you Mr. Zombie, very proud of you!

This week, we review the cult classic mockumentary, The Poughkeepsie Tapes.  A film that took 10 years to release after production because it was too extreme.  Does it live up to the hype?

When Jeepers Creepers Reborn was announced, we were all stoked to see it. The first 2 were instant classics, although the reputation has been tarnished by the piece of **** director. This new installment was meant to be a reboot of the franchise, kicking off a new trilogy of films. If they make 2 more of these, the studio should be shut down!

How do scarcrows procreate?  Corn water of course!  This week, we review the "X" follow-up/prequel "Pearl".  A nice parallel to the insanity of the COVID pandemic.  Does it live up to the awesomeness of "X"?  Let's talk about it.

First off, Barbarian lives up to it's reputation.  But help us decide if this is supposed to be a horror comedy, or if we are supposed to take it seriously.  Please.  Like, we are really struggling with it lol.

This movie has us tripping out.  A beautiful, decisive movie.  Just make sure to watch this one while you are sober.
