Connor and Dylan are TALKING. TWINS. TALKING. In the words of Carrie Pipperidge from Carousel, “did ya like it? Did ya?” Well, we sure hope ya will! Recorded before Tammy Faye's gone-too-soon closing announcement, the twins dive into theatre news of the moment. Elf's glowing reviews, Paul Mescal's Streetcar going to BAM, whether Maybe Happy Ending's critical/audience response will catch up to ticket buyers, and the Scherzy Page Six Deepfake Gate. But that's not all, y'all. The demise of Twitter/X, the rise of RHOSLC and RHOP, and the drama of today, tomorrow, and yesterday are on the boards. Finally, Dylan and Connor discuss the Wicked film (including its press tour) before Dylan has his first viewing. Let us be glad and let us be grateful. PERIOD. By the way, who's the most famous out gay man in the world? Thank you for taking the time to listen to our chat with Lori and Kate! If you are listening to this on Apple Podcast, we'd love it if you could share your love in a review! Her Story is founded by Lori Wheat. After graduating with a major in Corporate Communications and a minor in music business, Lori spent six years working in artist management and public relations with artists such as Martina McBride, Kenny Chesney, Amy Grant, and Old Dominion. She then worked in public relations in Los Angeles with mainly Disney Stars as assistant executive before eventually gaining her own accounts, E!'s "WAGS" stars Natalie Halcro and Olivia Pierson. In 2018, Lori decided there was a serious gap in PR and brand partnership. Broadway actors have huge and loyal social media followings. Lori's goal with Her Story is to get to know her clients interests so she can target ideal brands to partner them with. @HerStoryBranding A graduate of Baldwin Wallace University, Kate Rockwell is currently bleaching out her brain cells in Mean Girls: the Musical, originating the role of pretty-but-dim Karen Smith, for which she earned a Helen Hayes nomination during their out of town tryout in Washington DC. Her previous Broadway credits include originating the role of Skylar in Bring It On: The Musical, Sherrie in Rock of Ages, Margot in Legally Blonde, and Hair. Some of her favorite regional credits include Mabel Normand in the world premiere of Hollywood at La Jolla Playhouse, Carrie Pipperidge in Carousel at Arena Stage (for which she received a Helen Hayes nomination), and Belle in Beauty and the Beast at The Muny. Her TV/Film credits include "High Maintenance," "Deadbeat," and Sex and the City:The Movie. @KateRockwellNYC --- @pagetostagepodcast on Instagram + @pagetostagepodcast on Facebook @themarydina on Instagram + @themarydina on Twitter @briansedita on Instagram + www.briansedita.com @broadwaypodcastnetwork on Instagram + @bwaypodnetwork on Twitter #PageToStagePodcast Learn more about your ad choices.
