James Tunney, LLM, is an Irish barrister and author of The Mystery of the Trapped Light: Mystical Thoughts in the Dark Age of Scientism plus The Mystical Accord: Sutras to Suit Our Times, Lines for Spiritual Evolution; also TechBondAge: Slavery of the Human Spirit, Human Entrance to Transhumanism: Machine Merger and the End of Humanity, and AI-Govnerveance: Care and Possession in Dustopia. His most recent book is Trotsky vs Jesus: Battle of the AI-Millennium. His website is https://www.jamestunney.com/ James explores the concept of theological anthropology — the understanding of human nature derived from beliefs about God — and its implications for Christianity and the modern world. He discusses the significance of the incarnation of Jesus Christ, arguing that it affirms the dignity of the human body and offers a spiritual framework for understanding suffering, morality, and human purpose. Tunney also examines contemporary challenges such as transhumanism, artificial intelligence, and secularization, suggesting that traditional theological perspectives may provide insight into humanity's future. 00:00:00 Introduction 00:01:47 Defining theological anthropology 00:07:36 Humanity created in the image of God 00:15:36 The incarnation and the dignity of the human body 00:20:38 AI, transhumanism, and the future challenge to humanity 00:28:30 The civilizational significance of the event of Golgotha 00:35:00 Reason, theology, and moral philosophy 00:44:15 Secularization and the historical struggle over religion 00:58:38 Spiritual awakening, virtue, and the social role of religion 01:19:40 Conclusion New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in “parapsychology” ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He is also the Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Bigelow Institute essay competition regarding the best evidence for survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death. ICG Silver & Gold (CSE:ICG) - Newly Listed District-Scale Play, Fully Funded for Drilling

Interview with Steven Sirbovan, President & CEO of ICG Silver & GoldRecording date: 1st April 2026ICG Silver and Gold Corp. is a newly listed exploration company that began trading on the CSE on March 31, 2026, after spinning out from American Pacific Mining. The company holds a single flagship asset, the Tuscarora District, a 10,000-acre contiguous land package in northeastern Nevada positioned at the intersection of the Independence and Carlin Trends. For investors evaluating the junior exploration space, ICG presents a clearly defined near-term catalyst, a funded treasury, and a geological thesis that differentiates it from prior operators at the same project. The Tuscarora District is not a greenfield exploration play. Historical operators Novo Resources and American Pacific Mining conducted 25,000 metres of drilling, collected 5,000 samples, and completed 130 line-kilometres of geophysics across the property. Those programs generated high-grade results, including an intersection of just over 4 metres grading 127 g/t gold at the South Navajo target. Despite this work, the project was consistently treated as a gold-only system. ICG's management believes that interpretation left a significant dimension of the project unexplored: a spatially overlapping, silver-dominant epithermal system, supported by surface rock samples returning up to approximately 38,000 g/t silver at certain targets and near-surface geophysical anomalies. The former Dexter open-pit mine, located just off the property boundary on trend with the South Navajo and Modoc targets, produced approximately 50,000 ounces of gold and 250,000 ounces of silver in the early 1990s and serves as a direct analogue for the style of mineralisation management is targeting. The company enters the market with approximately C$6.2 million in the treasury and a Phase 1 RC drill program of 3,000 to 6,000 metres scheduled to commence in June 2026. RC costs in the region are currently estimated at approximately US$250 per metre, providing ICG with sufficient capital to complete the program without near-term financing pressure. Assay results are expected in August 2026, giving investors a defined newsflow window within the current calendar year. The Phase 1 program targets two categories of drill holes. The first group focuses on South Navajo and Modoc to build toward an eventual mineral resource. The second and more exploration-oriented group targets East Pediment, Grand Prize, King's Vein, and North Navajo areas which are identified through sampling and geophysics but not yet systematically drilled. Hole depths are planned at 200 to 300 metres, consistent with the shallow, open-pittable mineralisation model the company is evaluating. The management team brings relevant capital markets and technical depth. CEO Steven Sirbovan has 13 years of capital markets experience including work at Waterton Global Resource Management with a Nevada focus. The board includes Jeff Swinoga, formerly of Barrick Gold, and Gary Baschuk, who spent significant time at Barrick's Goldstrike operation in Nevada. VP of Exploration Korbon McCall provides direct technical continuity with the project through his prior work with American Pacific. For investors, the near-term thesis is straightforward: a funded drill program, an August 2026 assay window, and a geological interpretation that has not previously been tested at district scale. The key risk, as with any early-stage exploration company, is that drilling results may not confirm the dual-system thesis. Investors should size positions accordingly and monitor Phase 1 results as the primary near-term value inflection point.Learn more: https://cruxinvestor.comSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

Bookwaves/Artwaves is produced and hosted by Richard Wolinsky. Links to assorted local theater & book venues   From the Probabilities Archive: E. Hoffman Price, Fantasy & Science Fiction Pulp Writer E. Hoffman Price (1898-1988), fantasy and science fiction author who published in various pulp magazines from the 1920s into the 1950s, in conversation with Probabiliaties hosts Richard Wolinsky, Richard A. Lupoff and Lawrence Davidson, recorded in early 1979 at Price's home in Redwood City, California. E. Hoffman Price, who was born 1898 and died shortly before his 90th birthday in 1988, wrote fantasy and science fiction stories for the pulp magazines of the first half of the twentieth century, along with some non-fiction. Mostly forgotten today, though several of his stories are available in small press editions, his claim to fame is a single collaboration with the great horror writer H.P. Lovecraft, titled “Through the Gates of the Silver Key,” a sequel to Lovecraft's story, “The Silver Key.” A contributor to Weird Tales, he was also friends with two other writers from the magazine, Seabury Quinn and Clark Ashton Smith, as well as with the longtime editor of Weird Tales, Farnsworth Wright. He also knew Otis Adelbert Kline, famous in his day for writing imitations of Edgar Rice Burroughs. In the interview, Price talks about his writing career, his friendships with H.P. Lovecraft, horror writer Seabury Quinn, adventure writer Otis Adelbert Kline, and horror master Clark Ashton Smith. The Probabilities radio show first went on the air on KPFA in 1977. Within a year, my co-host Lawrence Davidson was on the trail for old pulp writers and editors, egged on by science fiction and fantasy author Richard A. Lupoff, who officially joined the show a couple of years later. This interview, following on the heels of interviews with pulp science fiction author Stanton A. Coblentz and editor Charles Hornig, was conducted at Price's house in Redwood City, California, most likely in the spring of 1979. Accompanying Dick, Lawrence and myself were Dick's wife Pat Lupoff and science fiction fanzine editor Jim Purviance. Over two hours were recorded on multiple tapes, and parts of the transcription can be found in the book Space Ships Ray Guns Martian Octopods: Interviews with Science Fiction Legends. The interview was digitized and then remastered using AI technology first, and then edited for clarity and coherence. Some outtakes exist which I can forward by email via richard@kpfa.org. The unpublished memoir Price discusses in the interview, Book of the Dead: Friends of Yesteryear, Fictioneers and Others was eventually published posthumously, in 2001. The interview opens with a question by Richard A. Lupoff. Several collections of stories by E. Hoffman Price were published in 2017 by Wildside Press, and are available both digitally and in print. The interview was digitized, remastered and edited in March 2026. This interview was first heard in a very truncated version in 1979 and has not been aired until now. The complete 68-minute interview can be heard here.   Rob Nillson: Award-Winning Independent Film-maker Rob Nillson is a Bay Area based maverick filmmaker. The winner of the Camera d'Or at Cannes in 1979 for Northern Lights and the Grand Prize at Sundance for Heat and Sunlight in 1988, he continues to make independently distributed films. His most recent book is Trotsky vs Jesus: Battle of the AI-Millennium. His website is https://www.jamestunney.com/ James examines Leon Trotsky as a militant atheist whose vision of permanent, worldwide revolution ultimately leads toward technocracy, posthumanism, and spiritual erasure. He contrasts Trotsky's materialist worldview with Jesus Christ, arguing that Christ represents not a political revolution, but a profound spiritual counter-revolution grounded in moral restraint and inner transformation. She is the co-founder and Board Chair of TILT: The Institute for Love and Time, Senior Distinguished Fellow in Human Potential at the Center for the Future of AI, Mind, and Society at Florida Atlantic University, Affiliate Professor in the Department of Biophysics and Physics at University of San Diego, Senior Data+Intuition Consultant at Tangible IQ, a member of the Alfred Lee Loomis Innovation Council at the Stimson Center, and the founder of Mossbridge Institute. Her website is juliamossbridge.com Julia describes her research that explores the relationship between photons and time, “Replication and Characterization of the Causally Ambiguous Duration-Sorting (CADS) Effect”, that builds on the double-slit experiment. Through her exploration of bosonic particles, consciousness, and the past, present, and future, she suggests that the nature of time may be more like a braid than linear. He has published over fifty peer-reviewed papers in social psychology and social cognition, including twenty papers on various aspects of anomalistic psychology such as paranormal believers' proneness to probabilistic reasoning biases. He lives in Portsmouth where he is currently researching The Dodleston Messages. He examines The Dodleston Messages, a deeply puzzling case involving apparent communication across centuries through early 1980s computer technology. Paul outlines the historical, linguistic, and technological evidence that challenges conventional explanations, including poltergeist phenomena and informational time transfer. A Traditionalist Perspective on Gnosticism with Charles Upton Charles Upton’s first books of poetry were published in 1968 and 1969 by Lawrence Ferlinghetti of City Light Books in San Francisco. He was then considered the youngest member of the “beat generation” as he was still in high school. He has subsequently written many books associated with the traditionalist school of spirituality including What Poets Used to Know, The Science of the Greater Jihad, Folk Metaphysics, Alien Disclosure Deception: The Metaphysics of Social Engineering, Day and Night on the Sufi Path, Dugin Against Dugin: A Traditionalist Critique of the Fourth Political Theory, The System of the Antichrist, and Vectors of the Counter-Initiation. His most recent book of poetry is The Wars of Love and Other Poems. Charles Upton offers a traditionalist critique of Gnosticism, examining its metaphysical assumptions about evil, transcendence, and the nature of the cosmos. Charles explores why Gnostic ideas resonate so strongly in modern culture, particularly feelings of alienation, simulation, and entrapment in an unjust world. From a traditionalist standpoint, Upton reframes Gnosticism as a symbolic diagnosis of ego and spiritual imbalance rather than a literal account of reality. 00:00:01 Introduction: a traditionalist view of Gnosticism 00:04:38 What traditionalism means and where it came from 00:07:58 The primordial tradition and unity of religions 00:15:30 Why Gnosticism is considered heresy 00:17:44 The Gnostic idea of a false universe 00:20:39 The Demiurge reinterpreted as the ego 00:22:31 Four Archons as spiritual distortions 00:30:18 Law, selfhood, chaos, and fate explained 00:39:28 How the Archons reinforce each other 00:59:06 Conclusion New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Thinking Above the Lower Mind with David Hanscom David Hanscom, M.D. is author of, Back in Control: A Surgeon's Roadmap Out of Chronic Pain and Do You Really Need Spine Surgery?: Take Control with a Spine Surgeon's Advice. Dr. Hanscom is an orthopedic complex spinal deformity surgeon who quit his surgical practice in 2019 to focus on teaching people how to break loose from the grip of chronic mental and physical pain – with and without surgery. His insights arose out of escaping from his own 15-year ordeal of suffering with severe chronic pain. As he began to share his approaches with his patients, a predictable sequence of learning evolved. It is reflected in the self-directed action plan that he created, The DOC (Direct your Own Care) Journey. His website is backincontrol.com. David explains how mental and physical pain are not separate. He suggests ways to detach from the ego – that he says are a set of cognitive distortions – to heal from unwanted thoughts, reactivity, and anxiety in the mind and calm the physiology of the body. Rosicrucian Origins with Ronnie Pontiac Ronnie Pontiac was the personal research assistant for Manly P. Hall at the Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles. He is author of American Metaphysical Religion: Esoteric and Mystical Traditions of the New World. He is coauthor with Tamra Lucid of The Magic of the Orphic Hymns: A New Translation for the Modern Mystic. He explores the true origins of Rosicrucianism, arguing that the famous manifestos were a radical literary and cultural intervention rather than an ancient secret order. Pontiac situates their emergence within the religious, political, and intellectual upheavals of 17th-century Europe, particularly during the Thirty Years' War. Ronnie reframes Rosicrucianism as a decentralized countercultural movement that spread ideas through symbolism, imagination, and culture rather than hierarchy or initiation. 00:00:01 Introduction: Rosicrucian origins and misconceptions 00:09:38 Religious conflict and the Holy Roman Empire 00:18:20 Emperor Rudolph II and hermetic culture 00:28:22 The Rosicrucian manifestos and public reaction 00:38:33 Alchemical marriage and political mythology 00:47:56 Defeat of Bohemia and shattered hopes 00:56:10 Counterculture and horizontal transmission 01:05:48 The dangers of intellectual hierarchy 01:14:21 Living Rosicrucian principles in practice 01:28:49 Conclusion New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Notes and Links to Timothy Welbeck's Work     Timothy Welbeck, Esq., is an affiliated faculty member in the Department of Africology and African American Studies, where he previously served as an Assistant Professor of Instruction. There he teaches an array of popular courses, including a course he developed entitled Kendrick Lamar and the Morale of the m.A.A.d city. More broadly, Timothy's scholarly work focuses on contemporary issues of racial identity in America, the intersection of racial classifications and the law in the American context, contemporary African American culture, and hip-hop as a microcosm of the Black experience. Timothy has also written several peer-reviewed journal articles including “We Have Come Into This House: The Black Church, Florida's Stop W.O.K.E., and the Fight to Teach Black History.” He also authored “Specter of Reform: The late Sen. Arlen Specter's Criminal Justice Reform, the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, and its Role in Expanding the Modern Prison Industrial Complex,” explores the impact of the infamous 1994 Crime Bill in providing the infrastructure for mass incarceration within the United States. The research, funded by the Arlen Specter Center fellowship, examines how the federalization of criminal law, pursuant to the Commerce Clause, has led to expansive growth in federal law enforcement, imprisonment, and thus setting the foundation for the modern carceral state. Timothy's article “People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths to Rhythms: Hip-Hop's Continuation of the Enduring Tradition of African and African American Rhetorical Forms and Tropes,” examines hip-hop's continuation of centuries-old African cultural norms and aesthetic values. As an attorney, Timothy has long been an advocate for justice, using his legal expertise to defend society's most vulnerable individuals, including survivors of human trafficking, survivors of police brutality, and the indigent. He has also provided crisis management, guidance, and legal counsel to churches and nonprofit organizations across the globe. In that capacity, Timothy is the Chair of the Board of Directors for The Witness Foundation, and an Advisory Board member of For the Future Organization. Timothy has also served as the Civil Rights Attorney for the Philadelphia Chapter of Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), where he defended the constitutionally protected civil rights and liberties of those who experience discrimination and harassment based on their faith, race, ethnicity, and/or national origin, particularly members of the Muslim community within Pennsylvania.  As a hip-hop artist, he has released four full length recordings, shared the stage with national and international acts (Janelle Monáe, Jidenna, EPMD, Dead Prez, and Immortal Technique), won songwriting contests (Session 1 Grand Prize in 2010 John Lennon Songwriting Contest), garnered high compliments from hip-hop legends, industry taste-makers (Sway) and record executives (VP of A&R at Def Jam, Lenny S).  His latest work, entitled ‘Trane of Thought, is a live recorded hip-hop album that melds songs from his first two albums the musical style of John Coltrane. Timothy presently serves as the Pastor of Formation and a Teaching Elder at Epiphany Church of Wilmington, bringing over twenty years of ministry experience. He fosters spiritual growth through expositional and topical preaching, community engagement, trainings, workshops and spiritual counseling. In his role, he equips Epiphany members to live out their faith practically in their communities and prepare others to do the same. Timothy's work as an attorney and scholar has allowed him to contribute to various media outlets, such as: Axios, BBC Radio 4, CBS, CNN, The Huffington Post, NBC, The New York Times, NPR, The Philadelphia Inquirer, REVOLT TV, The Washington Post, VOX, and 900 WURD AM. He has lectured nationally and internationally at esteemed institutions like: Magdalen College of Oxford University, Georgetown University, Swarthmore College, and provided invited keynote addresses at major corporations like 1Hotels, Campbell Soup, and Merrill Lynch. As a contributing writer, Timothy has bylines in The Huffington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, WHYY, and RESPECT Magazine.  He earned his J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and his B.A. from Morehouse College, where he graduated cum laude and was awarded the Corella and Bertrand Bonner Scholarship. MetaTheurgy with Kevin Cann Kevin Cann is a contributor to Jeffrey Kripal's book How to Think Impossibly. He is a high-functioning autistic individual whose perspectives inform his philosophical work. Cann is the originator of a worldview he calls Platonic Surrealism. Kevin Cann explores MetaTheurgy as an expansion of ancient theurgy, reframing ritual, consciousness, and wonderworking through the contemporary lens of his system, Platonic Surrealism. He explains how human beings function as interfaces between awareness, potentiality, monadic consciousness, and the physical world, offering practical methods to restore agency in a postmodern culture marked by alienation. Cann also discusses how ritual, transcendence, and expanded states of mind can foster healing, meaning, and participation in a larger cosmic process. 00:00:01 Introduction: metatheurgy and expanded awareness 00:01:42 Origins, Platonic surrealism, and, ancient theurgy 00:03:48 Wonderworking, UFO summoning, and, altered states 00:07:03 Metamodern, moving beyond postmodern despair 00:12:02 Rituals, daily practices, and, reframing life 00:15:12 Healing, empowerment, and, suffering in modern life 00:29:47 Wonderworking, personal transformation as the core 00:33:21 Freewill, determinism, and, feedback loops 00:44:06 Human beings, monads, souls, and, plasma symbiosis 01:08:53 Conclusion New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man.
