It was really hard to talk about anything other than the treehouse. We thought we loved this movie but really we just LOVED that treehouse, or to put it simply: "Look, I'm not an ostrich expert." It is a weird outlier for this podcast but both Celey & Nora were obsessed as kids and we just had to revisit this Disney flick from 1960. Spoiler: the animals and many humans are not treated...great.
This movie is one of the rare few that is MORE relevant now than it was on its release. There are a few odd things that bother us (or break our damn hearts) more now than when we were kids, but honestly, this one rules. And made us THINK. Oh also, made Celey, Nora, & special guest brother Bram talk about reality TV too much!

Celey is an actor, writer, and comedian, working on both coasts and based primarily in Los Angeles. She's currently in development of a queer romcom feature, and a TV series centered on a women's college ice hockey team. Most recently, on stage, Celey opened for Michelle Wolf in Burlington, Vermont. On screen, she can be found on Comedy Central, the Travel Channel, and in various commercials including Snickers, Aflac, and Yoplait. She is a lead on the SeekaTV show “Extra/Ordinary”, opposite BBC's Will Turner Roden and Broadway's Tiffany Mann, and a series regular in the upcoming digital series “Followers.” Celey's voice can be heard on the popular nostalgic movie review podcast Still Got It, which she hosts and produces. The soundtrack! The cheesy lines! The Big Game! Can Disney and Denzel solve racism in 2 hours? They sure thought so! In all seriousness though, 2/3 of the podcast LOVED rewatching this imperfect film. Writer and comedian Rob King joins Celey and Nora (who had never seen this before!).
