Dominique Manotti est l’une des voix majeures du roman noir français à dominante politique, couronnée notamment par le Duncan Lawrie International Dagger et le Grand Prix du roman noir. Ses livres sont traduits dans une dizaine de langues. Elle a reçu pour "Racket", le prix Polar en série à Quais du polar en 2019. "Marseille 73", d'après l'histoire vraie de meurtres racistes, est son treizième roman. Il est édité dans la collection Equinox aux Arènes. "La France connaît une série d’assassinats ciblés sur des Arabes, surtout des Algériens. On les tire à vue, on leur fracasse le crâne. En six mois, plus de cinquante d’entre eux sont abattus, dont une vingtaine à Marseille, épicentre du terrorisme raciste. C’est l’histoire vraie. Onze ans après la fin de la guerre d’Algérie, les nervis de l’OAS ont été amnistiés, beaucoup sont intégrés dans l’appareil d’État et dans la police, le Front national vient à peine d’éclore. Des revanchards vont appeler à plastiquer les institutions représentant l’État algérien. C’est le décor. When to play pedals, and do you double the left hand in this case? How to play the fast arpeggios in the left hand accurately especially on page 4?
