On Student Sunday, we get to hear homilies from our students! Junior Hannah Mees shared her thoughts on God being with us through doubts and questions. 

Mees Peijnenburg is filmmaker en fotograaf. Hij acteerde in films als ‘Timboektoe' en ‘Oorlogswinter'. Waarna hij verder ging met regisseren en bekend werd door zijn intieme, menselijke films. In 2013 ging zijn afstudeerfilm ‘Cowboys janken ook' in première op het Filmfestival van Berlijn. Hij won in 2015 een Gouden Kalf beste televisiedrama, voor de film ‘Geen koningen in ons bloed' en de Dutch Directors Guild Award voor zijn korte film Un creux dans mon coeur'. Daarna werd hij door het talentprogramma van het Cannes Film Festival geselecteerd voor zijn eerste speelfilm ‘Paradise Drifters'. Nu komt hij met de film ‘A Family'. De film volgt de scheiding van de ouders van Nina en Eli door hun ogen. Het biedt zo twee perspectieven van hoe liefde breekt en waar je het weer kan vinden.  Ellen Deckwitz gaat met Mees Peijnenburg in gesprek.
