After Ox failed us last week by not delivering Rob Mills to the studio, this week is his chance to redeem himself and bring Millsy in. We were disappointed last week, but we're very excited to have Millsy in this week. That aside - Ox has done his other homework, which was to find out what Tofu is made of. Which he does. It sounds awful. We also find out about the night that Marko spent in prison - never knew we had a hardened criminal on the podcast, but apparently we do. Still on prison, Ox and Marko tell a hilarious story about Hawthorn Hawks players Jason Dunstall, Gary Buckenara and Gary Ayres ended up in prison in Hawaii - and Hawks coach Allan Jeans response was brilliant!Ox raises an issue that has been worrying him: things you won't ever do. Ox refuses to have takeaway delivered, he'll only ever pick up. The boys move into a tipping discussion, and it gets heated - to tip or not! And what about tipping before the meal arrives?Ox also reveals that he has a disease, it's called epistolophobia. He explains on the pod.Controversially, Ox and Marko believe that anyone who owns a battery-powered lawnmower is not masculine. Debatable.Ox has a new business idea this week - this one to do with tattoos. He loves the idea. It's awful. But he loves it.The boys tell a great story about being in Las Vegas at Hooters restaurant when John Daly's RV was smashed into - Daly's wife went ballistic, and Ox filmed it. We play some of the audio on the show. It's hilarious (language warning). We've had some feedback from a Couple of Blokes, Couple of Beers family member who loves the show, but doesn't drink beer, and reckons we need more wine chat on the show. Homework is set. Marko has promised that he'll get Ricky Ponting on the show in the next week or two. Can't wait!Ox raises sports that he thinks are over-rated, and sports that he reckons are under-rated and should be pumped up more. More homework is set, Ox wants us to get squash superstar Heather Mackay on the show, and the boys decide that they want to record commentary of a lawn bowls game. And Ox and Marko may have defamed Raelene Castle, former Rugby & Netball honcho.Sadly, the joke returns. Ridiculous.Follow a Couple of Blokes, Couple of Beers and get involved with the show on social media here: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. We'd love you to subscribe, rate and review the podcast - and if you feel like helping out a couple of mates, tell a friend about the podcast and help spread the word. Hosted on Acast.
