Ben and Dave have some more thoughts about announcements they didn’t get to from PSX and the Game awards last week. This includes the MediEvil remake, more information on Detroit: Become Human and In the Valley of Gods. We move to the news from this week, which is light. Some new God of War images, a mention of PS3 game Catherine and another Monster Hunter World Beta. We’ve got a confession, a heinous confession from Alex and we round out by discussing the recently closed Guerrilla Cambridge makers of the original and PSP remake of MediEvil. Remember to let us know what you think @PS_Forecast on twitter or playstationforecast@outoflives.net or leave us a review on your podcast service.

When it comes to games getting canceled and studios closing they're never a good thing, though some hit much, much harder than others. In the latest installment of the ShockCast, Lou, Ryan, and Azario delve into one of the more unfortunate sides of the gaming industry by discussing game cancellations and studio closures, in the wake of the recent canceling of the Xbox One/PC title Scalebound and Killzone: Mercenary developer Guerrilla Cambridge. Aside from that, we also sidetrack a bit into some recent game releases in a busy January, including Ryan's dive into the horrors of Resident Evil VII: Biohazard, Azario's take on Gravity Rush 2, and a few others. SHOCKCAST EP. 29 - Resident Evil VII DUALSHOCKERS - Anything and Everything Gaming.

Another week, another episode of the PSVR life podcast! This week we talk about Tumble VR, Starship Disco, Rush of Blood, Volume, Windlands, 100ft Robot Golf, and Lethal VR. Danthol also shares his experience taking the HMD "off road" with Trinus for the PSVR and connecting as a display with the Raspberry Pi. We discuss upcoming games Dirt Rally VR, Darknet, Redemption's Guild, GNOG, Ace Combat 7, and of course, Resident Evil 7. During the show we also address how the social media community is reacting to the PSVR software lineup after no new games for a month, Rigs studio Guerrilla Cambridge closing, London Studio layoffs, and limited availability of the Youtube 1.10 VR patch ( at the time of episode release, most people have it now).
