Assassin's Creed Revelations lets us meet a young Suleiman before he became Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, and long before he became “the Magnificent”. The Hagia Sophia is a landmark that has stood for 1500 years, and that players can clamber all over in Assassin's Creed Revelations. Hello there everybody and welcome to the first episode of 2025! We hope that you all had a wonderful and restful holiday season with your family and friends, and got to enjoy some quality relaxation and gaming time. If you haven't heard our announcement episode / dispatch from a week or so ago, there are lots of fun and exciting changes in 2025 for Trophy Talk and the other shows under the Trophy Talk Network. One of the not so fun things, in fact very bittersweet things though is that this episode is Darryl's last episode as a co-host of Trophy Talk. With life changing events on the way for him (which he goes in to this episode) he felt that it was the right time for him to ride away into the sunset. Fear not though, Darryl will still be in the community and we hope to have him on as a guest whenever he feels up to it! Having said that, this episode in the main focuses on what we've been playing for the past two weeks, which as been a lot! Josh has fully immersed himself in the realm of 3D with his foray and continued exploits with the PSVR2. Does it add a whole new dimension to trophy hunting? In some sense yes it does! Darryl closes out the year strong with Life is Strange: True Colors and the platinum in a Discord favorite, Resident Evil: Remake. Colin, eager to game after being away from his console for a few weeks continues his grinds in Resident Evil: Revelations, and Black Ops 6 but also takes a much needed trip to Constantinople / Istanbul in Assassin's Creed: Revelations. Thank you for listening, and enjoy!
Happy New Year from Last Save Loaded. As we release our final episode of 2024, we take a look back at the games we've been playing, and have a good laugh on the way.On the show this week, Colm is settling in for his last days in college and Justin is looking forward to 2 weeks off.Justin tests Colm's guesswork with some Play Your Carts Right with PS3 games.Games we've been playing include God Of War III HD, Fall Guys, TMNT : Shredder's Revenge, Lego 2K Drive, Trombone Champ Unflattened, The Plucky Squire, Ghostbusters : Rise Of The Ghost Lord, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Sleeping Dogs, and Indiana Jones And The Great Circle. We'd like to thank everyone who has listened to the podcast this year, and hope you will join us in 2025 for more fun. Assassin's Creed Revelations transports us to Constantinople, only a couple of generations after its conquest by the Ottoman Empire. It is one of history's defining events, turning the city into the bridge between Christian West and Islamic East.Dr Gemma Masson gives Matt Lewis an overview of the events of the conquest and the impact it had on both the face of the city and the lives of the people who called it home.Echoes of History is a Ubisoft podcast, brought to you by History Hit. The legacy of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed: Revelations is that of cash-grab sequels capitalizing on Assassin's Creed 2's success. In this largely aimless diatribe, Professor Kozlowski re-evaluates that legacy, examining the conflicting priorities between Ubisoft's corporate agenda and the artistic aspirations of the series. If you have questions or topic suggestions for Professor Kozlowski, e-mail him at profbkozlowski2@gmail.com To see what else Professor Kozlowski is up to, visit his webpage: https://professorkozlowski.wordpress.com/

Mike Shinoda is an idiot about NFTs, FFXIV is going back on sale soon, Xbox One's are no longer in production, and Hitman 3 is getting a ton of new content! I continued to fall into the FFXIV hole while Matt played like 900 games, one of which I was greatly surprised by. To finish we make a top ten list of our favorite Nintendo games released between 2000 and 2009. Much to my dismay I forgot about Kirby's Air Ride and I will never live it down. Don, Mike, and Rob are back, and our Australian editor, Matt, is also back to keep podcast profanity consistent. We talk about a lot of games in this episode, but we also shed some light on Metal Gear Solid 5—you know, that game that wasn't actually announced.
