NES har en så självklar plats i våra hjärtan att världens första dubbelavsnitt av Meningen med Pixel är ett faktum!   Den här gången delar Elias och Elli (som i sin frånvaro rollspelas av Rickard) med sig av härliga 8-bitsminnen. Medveten dålighet i spel för kärlekens skull och borttappade kassetter på blå linjen mot Akalla är två starka ämnen. Punch-Out!! für das NES erschien 1987 nicht aus dem Nichts – dem Spiel waren zwei Arcade-Titel vorausgegangen, namentlich „Punch-Out!!“ (1983) und „Super Punch-Out!!“ (1984). Das Team hinter der Serie ist eine Nintendo-Allstar-Truppe, damals freilich noch von ihrem späteren Ruhm entfernt: Hauptverantwortlich zeichnete Genyo Takeda, zu der Zeit Leiter der Abteilung Research & Development 3 (R&D3), später einer der Entwickler der Wii. An der Musik wirkte ein Debütant namens Koji Kondo mit, heute vor allem für seine „Super Mario“- und „The Legend of Zelda“-Soundtracks weltberühmt.
