In Episode Thirteen of Season Three we are joined by Dr. Ashley Randall and Kai Kline from Arizona State University’s Couples Coping with Stress Lab to talk about relationships and stress. Ashley shares with us how stress impacts our romantic relationships and how our romantic partnerships can help alleviate feelings of stress. We learn how three dimensions of stress, the locus, severity, and acuity, play critical roles in the ability of romantic partnership’s ability to cope with the stress. Kai explains how positive coping behaviours, such as empathy, problem-solving, and delegated coping, lead to increased relationship satisfaction and more displays of affection, like cuddling, hugging, and kissing. How do couples regulate stress in a relationship? What are the differences between positive and negative nonverbal coping behaviours? How do marginalized sexually diverse romantic partnerships cope with stress, and what are the implications for relationship satisfaction? All this and much more in Couples Coping with Stress with Dr. Ashley Randall and Kai Kline!

The Washington Redskins regular season is finally here, and the Redskins took their first L of the Year… After a tough week one loss in Philadelphia our season record is 0-1… the first half of the game was incredible, this team came out hot and was firing on all cylinders, going into the half they looked to have the game in hand… unfortunately, they forgot they had to come back out and play in the second half, that is where the wheels came off… In Episode Thirteen, I cover the good, the bad and the ugly of the Redskins first regular season game of the 2019 season against the Philadelphia Eagles. I take a deep dive into week one starting from the days leading up to the game with basically everyone doubting the team, to the Game-day drama caused by the coaching staff, to the post game injuries and everything in between… I briefly discuss, (that in this case), no news is bad news in relation to the ongoing saga that is “The Trent Williams Situation”... I review some other notable items that came up over the last week in regards to the Redskins and the NFL… And I provide my prediction about the week Two Home Opener against the Dallas Cowboys. Enjoy my unsolicited and unrealistically optimistic opinions on all things Washington Redskins in this 2019 Regular Season Week One against the Philadelphia Eagles Episode. Please do not despair, but Joe was unable to join us for the recording of episode thirteen due to man flu. All things being equal we’ll see him again in episode fourteen. In Episode Thirteen of the "Look Out, Sir! 40k" Podcast we discuss the following topics:16:25 - Section 1: We discuss the Custodes Beta Rules for their various Forge World units and what this could mean for the future of Forge World Rules Releases. Could Phil’s Death Korps of Krieg be getting better soon!?55:03 - Section 2: We throw our all be it unremarkable opinions onto the new Beta Bolter commentary pile. If you didn’t already know that this makes Deathwatch slightly better, then you will know that after listening to this section of the podcast. Because Deathwatch did get slightly better because of these Beta Bolter rules.01:12:24 - Section 3: We ramble on about our various projects in an attempt not to just talk about tournaments and or competitive gaming. However most of what Dan’s doing is working on stuff for tournaments, so there’s still a fair bit of that in there alongside some likely incorrect assertions about various bits of fluff. Not our best section but we hope you enjoy it all the same…Thanks very much for taking the time to listen and by extension support our podcast. We hugely appreciate it and hope that you enjoy what we have to say on all the various 40k and or Games Workshop related things!

“Xavi’s movement is a kind of reverse sheepdog trick — instead of penning a flock in to an enclosed space, his darting, nipping and barking is about spreading them around the field, into unexplored, unpredictable spaces.” In Episode Thirteen we bring you ‘The Inverted Sheepdog’ by Graham Hunter, which looks in detail at how the Spain international became the creative hub of the all-conquering Barcelona team of the early twenty-first century. As Graham himself puts it “Sublime player, top man. A footballer who epitomises what has gone right at Barcelona over the last couple of decades.” If you have any feedback, comments or suggestions email podcast@theblizzard.co.uk, or find us on Twitter @blzzrd. Graham Hunter moved to Barcelona in 2001. He is a journalist of international reputation and covers Spanish football for Sky Sports, the BBC and newspapers and magazines across the world.
