He grew up playing drums in school concert bands and studied with legendary teacher Joe Sefcik who taught famous Jazz drummer Joe Morello. He has played with Chuck Berry, John Kay, Ort, and done performances with The Guess Who, Three Dog Night, the Doobie Brothers and the Charlie Daniels Volunteer Jam Band. Maddie, has been a musician all her life, and currently sings with the band Audio Spectrum. She started in musical theater when she was 4 years old, she played with an all girl band named Why Joe-Y for a couple years. She has opened for Jack Russell's Great White and sung duets with Micky Dolenz from the Monkees. Steve Cooper talks with singer Jack Russell. Jack is a founding member of the hard rock band Great White. The band gained popularity during the 1980s and early 1990s. The band hit the mainstream in 1987 for their album Once Bitten which featured the hits Rock Me and Save Your Love. They followed that up with Twice Shy which was certified double platinum and had their best selling single Once Bitten, Twice Shy which they received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance. Jack has been touring with his version of the band Jack Russell's Great White and recording for the last 20 years and they recently released a new album.
Jack Russell (of Jack Russell's Great White) joins hosts Clint Switzer and Paul Lagana as he discusses his band's upcoming tour and possible album. He also speaks about the tragic Station Nightclub fire which claimed 100 lives back in 2003.
