I first encountered the writings of Lloyd Marcus (www.lloydmarcus.com) years ago on the excellent site News With Views. I was struck with Lloyds common sense and clear logic, in a world that at that time already seemed crazy to me. Our world today, particularly in the last few months, has degenerated a lot from that time when I first heard of Lloyd. Comparing today's world to a mental hospital, where both staff and patients are insane, would probably be unfair, to a real mental hospital. So I won't make that comparison. But it still seems to me that racism is certainly a mental illness, no sane person would ever fall into it. But that's exactly what our major corporate media wants us to do. In the past, they promoted racism against "black" people, now they do the same thing, but this time against "white" people. The point, of course, is to keep us all hating each other and fighting, so we're distracted with that and never figure out that we're members of one family, who should love and support each other as we go through life. Lloyd Marcus became known as "the unhyphenated American," to make the point that this idea of all different categories of Americans, based on where our ancestors came from, is for one purpose only, division. He reminds us that no matter what color our skin may be, we're Americans, fortunate to be born into a country founded on the principles of individual freedom. And when we live that ideal, we inspire the people of all countries to do the same. It's not just for Americans to realize. With that unity consciousness, we can drop the nonsense of racism and division from each other, and get on with the business of living what we believe in, respect, love and appreciation for each other, as we each work to fully become the person we were designed to be.

I have been listening to the public talks given by Lloyd Marcus (www.lloydmarcus.com) for many years now, and reading his articles in News with Views (www.newswithviews.com). Lloyd has been writing and speaking about the fact that all of us are one family of human beings, and do not need to be fighting and hating each other. A simple message but powerful enough to heal our world if we really live it. Lloyd remembers life in a ghetto, where people were keeping each other down in despair, blaming everyone but themselves, and never even seeing the opportunities for a better life that surrounded them every day. Following the great example of courage and character set by his father, Lloyd accomplished a lot in his life and ended up being a patriot singer/songwriter and speaker, traveling all over the US, inspiring people to realize we are all just Americans, not hyphenated Americans, differentiating among ourselves by wherever our ancestors happened to live, or what "race" we are assigned to by skin color and other traits of our physical bodies. The top level global rulers want to give us every reason they can think of for us to feel divided, to fight each other and to hate everyone outside of our specific group, because they know if we are busy fighting each other, we will not be interfering with their plans to destroy us. People like Lloyd Marcus are reminding us not to fall for this nonsense, and to realize that we all have common interests and goals for a peaceful, successful, free and happy life. By cooperating and helping each other achieve those goals, we can stop the destruction and create the future that we and those who come after us deserve to have. It is unrealistic to say  that any African American will join the teaparty?  Not so, according to leading African scholars like LLoyd Marcus or Barbara from Harlem.  Many leading African activists are attributing some of their communities problems, their  extended family and the black community in general to a "cradle-to-grave government dependency" and in some cases cousins enable them a  life of crime and drug abuse.
