Looks like we've got almost a month worth of trade reading to do so we continue the reads off our shelves. Heather has a bit of a hodgepodge of books, while Champ had a bit of a Rich Tomasso theme. This week we talk about Lost City Explorers, Forever Maps, She-Wolf, Horror of Collier County and more!

On this Podcast the Oldie and I talk about the comic publisher Aftershock Comics. Created in 2015 with the idea of giving the comic authors and artists full control of their creations, just like Image Comics. The Comics we discuss are Lost City Explorers by Zack Kaplan (Eclipse, Port of Earth) and Alvaro Sarraseca (Magnus, Turok), Unholy Grail by Cullen Bunn ( The Sixth Gun, Dark Ark) and illustrated by Mirko Colak (Red Sonja) and Rough Riders by Adam Glass (Teen Titans, Suicide Squad) and art by Pat Olliffe (Spider-Girl, Scooby Apocalypse). The Oldie tells us about the MTG card Primeval Titan.

This week’s guest is writer Zack Kaplan, the writer of Lost City Explorers, Port of Earth, and the reason I wanted to talk to him on this show, Eclipse.  This is an awesome horror / sci-fi comic where the sun is the villain. If you step foot into daylight, your flesh will melt instantly. As a fair-skinned individual, I’ve always know the sun was up to no good.   You can get the first two trade paperbacks of Eclipse now, which collect the first 8 issues.  Eclipse #9, which kicks off the penultimate story arc, just came out a couple weeks ago.
